I ordered a 9 when I usually get a 8.5 in running shoes and often go up 1/2 a size in dress shoes. They were just a bit too big. I ordered the 8.5....One shoe fit perfectly and the other I couldn't even get my foot into....at all. So I'm not sure if it was a defect or what. Back they went too. So very sad. I would totally get these if I thought maybe 3rd time lucky. But a bit reluctant to try again. Very cute. Excellent support. Really comfortable. Get these. I know you will have better luck!

OUTRAGEOUSLY comfortable right away. Thought immediately that they were going to be great and at the end of a long day with plenty of walking my initial thoughts were confirmed. Have both the black and brown now. PLEASE make more leather casual loafers uppers on this footbed. It is awesome. And looks good too.

Good looking and comfortable! It's difficult for me to find a shoe that fits my 7W foot without modifications. These have removable insoles so you could add modifications if needed. I did not, however, because the shoes are perfect right out of the box. I love you, Zappos

Nice shoe with a fair amount of support. My heel kept slipping around in it - the rest of the shoe fit great. Disappointed to be sending them back

I would not recommend so tight across top you can not slide your foot into the shoe.

Great walking shoe. Wore them on a trip to London where I did a lot of walking. Good support, especially liked the heel cushioning.

Absolutely LOVED them!! As soon as I put them on...it was like they were already broke in. Very comfortable and supportive where I need it!!

Worth every penny. Thought they may be a little narrow to begin with but after having worn them for a few days, they are just right. I have arthritis and wide feet. These are very comfortable!

I've bought 7 pairs of these shoes over the last 5 years. These are the only shoes that fit my foot perfectly. I've tried many other Clarks and other brands trying to find a substitute to this unattractive shoe but with no success. This show is awesome for someone with a high arch and wide toe bed. I have two pairs of new ones in the closet, waiting to be won.

I loved these shoes but they were much bigger than I had expected and I regretfully sent them back. The smaller size was out of stock.

The Wave Run sole and insole are different from other Clarks shoes but very comfortable. I wore them all day teaching and my feet and legs are not tired. They might be a bit "too big," but they remind me of Danskos--the slide a bit on the heel but any smaller and my toes would touch the end. I always know I can trust Clarks to have the right size and to fit well from day one. I don't buy any other shoes for work--none others are as comfortable!!

Very comfortable. They run a little long had to go down 1/2 size. Look good with office slacks.

I was looking for a shoe I could wear both at work and also walk to and from the train station which is about 1.5 miles each way. These are the most comforable shoes I have owned that I can do both. No problem walking distance, casual enough for jeans and also dressy enough for an office environment where no gym shoes or open toed shoes are allowed. I wear between an 8 and 8.5 size shoe and am so glad I went with the larger size as they fit perfect. I would purchase these shoes again and highly recommend.

For me this shoe felt to big all around. I have ordered it in a size smaller. I sure hope it fits because this shoe feels incredibly comfortable!

I bought these shoes for work, I walk six to eight miles daily on a concrete floor. They were comfortable from day one, no break in period at all. I am going to purchase another pair because I really like the look of these shoes, super cute and of course comfortable.

The most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I have spent my life with aching, sore feet an hour after I put shoes on. I got these for a trip to Europe. I walked and stood all day, day after day. My feet did not hurt and was ready for the evening.

These are very comfortable shoes right out of the box. I was starting a new job and needed black polishable shoes, but I love to walk during my lunch hour. These fit the bill for both needs. I can wear them all day with no fatigue. Great shoes. Plus they are a good looking shoe so I don't feel like I am compromising fit for fashion.

I'm usually able to wear Clarks in a half size smaller, not true with these, too short. Other than being too short I thought they were great!

This is my third pair of Clark's wave shoes. I am able to remove the insole and wear a Foot Leveler orthotic. I am on my feet all day and have bouts of plantar fasciitis and these are very supportive. I normally wear 7 1/2 but a 7 fits great. They can be a little hard to put on but the comfort is worth it! The olive color is more of a grayish brown neutral color.

These shoes have been comfortable from day one. I have very wide feet and these fit great. I would definitely buy them again.

I wanted to like these shoes but even though I ordered the wide version, they felt too narrow. I have to return them.

LOVE these shoes. Do a lot of international travel/a lot of walking around cities etc, and these are very comfortable and neutral enough in design/style to wear during all different seasons. Wore out my first pair, just ordered a new second pair.
