I need ankle support so these went right back. Not too sad as material felt cheap.

I have a pair of these exact same shoes in Olive size 39 which I purchased over the Christmas holidays in Duck NC at a shoe store. They fit me perfectly just the right size and fit. These black faux suedes are the same style and size in as my olive pair but they do not fit the same at all. My toe hits the very end of the shoe and the width is not the same. I love the black faux suede however, they don't fit so they are going back. I'd swap them out for another size 39 if I felt confident that the issue might be resolved, however I'm not confident about that. Very disappointed as I really love the black.

I am so disappointed and upset this year with the boot. I've been wearing the L19 for years in a 42 in Black and the length and width were always consistent. This year's model has totally changed. The width is narrower, the material is stiffer, the length is longer and they changed the zipper pull so it doesn't blend in with the black boot. I don't now why Arcopedico felt that this boot needed remodeling and changing material. I have bunions and a hammertoe and the L19 was my go-to. Overall, the boot doesn't fit or feel anywhere near the way it did in the past. NOTE TO ARCOPEDICO - please go back to making the L19 the old way ... if it ain't broke, please don't fix it. Zappos ... love you and your customer service and return policy .... these are on their way back !

Forgot to add, these are far too expensive when you see the boot. Bottom looks like black styrofoam. Shame!

Not true to size (too small) and instep has a hump. Cheap looking. I would not recommend these for anyone.

I so wanted to love and keep these shoes but they seem to be only for people with very high arches. I have normal arches and the high arch support on these shoes was instantly painful. The soles are even arched on the outer edges, which seems weird. The Zappos rating doesn't have an option for "too much arch support," so my "moderate" rating is definitely inaccurate. I couldn't put "excellent" because the arch support actually hurts. As others have mentioned, the shoes are very lightweight; I'm sure they are very comfy for people with very high arches. I loved the casual mocassin-like style and desperately wanted to wear them with jeans, although I did get the impression that the outsoles would be slippery on some surfaces.

They' were not comfortable for me. The heel was higher than expected and caused my body to fall forward. Returned.

These feel cheap. Generally I like the shoes from this brand, but these boots feel like they're made out of foam and are not worth the money.

I am very upset to have to return these boots. I loved the style and the feel of the material, but the arch was WAY too high. It hurt my foot. I wish Arcopedico would make a version with less arch support. Just as we can now choose our desired width, I wish we could also choose our best arch support option. Maybe, some day ...?

The side of shoes beside the arch zone has a "bump," making the shoes not very comfortable.

Terrible. I’d heard and read such good things about Arcopedico too. These boots were incredibly light but the material felt and looked sooo cheap. They were so narrow that my foot seemed to be resting on the edges of the shoe from the inside, and they seemed hard to slip into. Stinks- hay have a great color range to choose from.

I was worried about the structural integrity of the seam between the upper and the sole of the shoe - I was right to worry; they fell apart after one season. The liner in the heel rubbed through, the sole came away from the upper at the toe and heel, and the sole on one foot cracked at the ball. The shoes are not waterproof AT ALL - if there's rain, your feet will get soaked.

This boot is not leather . It is the strangest material I have ever felt. The boot material squeeks when I tried them on!!

I was thrilled that when I searched "bunions boots" on Zappos these came up. Finally I can get some cool boots that do not hurt, I thought. They came and I was so bummed. These are more like slippers. They are so ugly, cheap looking (plastic faux leather weird stuff) and depressing I would not even wear them around the house. I also tried the kind with the black and white fabric but they were so hard to pull on. I am not in in my 80's yet and even if I was I would not wear these things. I am glad that they seem to work for people but I think they are dreadful.
