too small

These booties look and fit great. But the very high arch hits my foot farther back than where my actual arch is, and it's therefore uncomfortable to walk in them. Really a pity because they are otherwise fabulous.

The shoe was a little too small, toes hit the end. The arch was fine, but a little too far back (not centered on my arch).

The booties were just the right size. It is glove-soft but I felt I needed more structure.

Really wanted to love this boot but it runs small. I am a size 12, I was excited to see they had the boot in 12! But it fits like an 11. I can get them on, love the fabric, arch support and look, but they fit tootightly and just don’t work. So sad!

The boot fit well, but the surface looks cheap. I had these boots in gray and I loved them. In black, they don't look so good. Returning them...

The leather was super soft. In fact so soft it was more like a glove than the shape of a shoe. I felt overall it was not appropriate to it's price. I want a little more out of a shoe.

Length was fine but width was too narrow. Sometimes I’m a M and other times a W. Sole was a bit thin for my sore feet.

I really liked these boots and understand both all the great reviews and ones claiming these were too small. I'm an 11.5 wide so I was hoping the size 12 would be big enough but it's not.

I previously owned Arcopedico Luana, size 36. My normal shoe size is 7. Looking at your size chart, I decided to order a size 37 (closer to my normal size), thinking that maybe the sizing had changed. No Luana available in Black, size 37 - so ordered L19 in 37. Arrived and it's too big. So . . . something in the sizing is off because I'm not a U.S. size 5.5-6. I'm returning L19 and just ordered Luana in 36 (exactly what I previously owned) - Black was available in that size. Hope it works.

Very disappointed as many give this a good review for traveling. The sides of shoe did not come close to my foot and the arch way out of alignment. I wear size 91/2 Medium but in this shoe maybe I need a narrow? Anyway, not for me and going back.

Felt a bit tight when I ordered my usual size. The arch didn't seem to hit the right place in my foot. I was very sorry to have to return these, as I had high hopes from reading others' reviews and I had just had foot surgery (broken metatarsal) and I also have a bunion on that same foot. These just didn't work for me.

Felt a bit too tight - arch support not comfortable either.

For some strange reason, once zipped, the ankle part material flared out so much, like extra material. I could put my four fingers in between my leg and shoe.

The size 42 seems larger than other 42s, but as a result I can wear them with an insert. Whatever is going on with the shoe's insert hurt one foot, but iwth the insert they seem to be OK. They're a little sloppy looking around the ankle.

I wear 7-1/2. Read all the reviews and bought a larger size (39 instead of 38) since many reviewers said they run small. Toe box was tight but heel was too loose. Just didn't fit. Love that they are vegan. Really bummed. Returned and ordering 38 to try.

Size 12 M was not true with is L19. My toes hit the plastic front molding. The material was truly comfortable and SO nicely light weight but they looked like slippers. If a customer has a pronation there will be no support.

I bought these shoes to walk around Germany for a week in January. I love the comfort of these shoes but the fake leather, I think, is unattractive. I wish they offered a real leather option. Also, if you have real underlying ankle issues (which I do) bring an alternate pair of comfy shoes to walk around in. These were really not great for all day ankle support but it's hard to find cute and stylish hiking boots.

Sadly, these shoes were too wide and a little too big. I'm sorry I didn't order a smaller size as other reviewers suggested. Maybe I'll try again next winter.

Maybe it's me, but the arch support in these boots felt odd... like a small, bothersome hump offset from the position of my actual arch on my foot. Otherwise, these boots are comfortable. But the arch misplacement was a deal breaker for me. The look of the boot is fine.. I loved the "slouch" or shirring. Also, I ordered the Olive color but it's not Olive... an interesting neutral more like a "dirty tan"... (I actually liked it better than the color as it appeared online). Fabric is suede-like and soft. Great bootie overall, but not for me and my arches!

I wanted to like this shoe so badly. I loved the look and the feel of it. It is so stylish and goes with so much. However, the arch support is insane! Not only is it very high but it hits my foot in the wrong place. It's about 1/2" towards the back of my arch so it is a very odd feeling and uncomfortable. It is such a pity because I fell in love with this shoe and tried wearing them in the house to see if my feet would adjust. And, it simply didn't work for me. I only wish they had a replaceable insole (the current one is removeable) that would allow anyone to swap out to a more flat insole and feel comfortable in the shoe, but it does not. I'm not saying it couldn't be a great shoe for you - but it's not for everyone.

Really cute boots--looked much fancier in person than in pictures and were super cushiony. But they're really narrow at the top of the instep, and looked stretched and bulging when I put them on.

Extremely sad to be returning these. Love the look, and they are feather light. Oddly, there is an excellent, supportive heel cup and mid-foot - and almost no padding in the metatarsal area. If only the nice, cushy insole extended to the toes.

These boots are nicely designed. There is an arch support inside which is comfortable. The reason I returned them is that the outside material felt, how shall I say, less quality than a pair of boots that cost over a hundred dollars should have. So, I thought these were overpriced. I also had to return one pair for a smaller size because the fist ones swam on my feet. Too bad because the design is nice enough.

The slipper look and feel are as others have noted. The arch support felt rigid and weird and uneven, worse on one than the other. But they are cute as heck. Casual and very spongy-flexible in the forefoot, slipper-like. Would have kept for working at home except for the weird arch thing.
