The sizing is a joke. While the calf may be extra wide, the foot part is extra narrow. I tried a W & an WW and the WW was narrower! I couldn't get my foot in at all. I'm done with Fitzwell.

I wanted to love these boots. I have a 17 inch and usually wear a 10M. Due to the reviews, I ordered both a 10M and a 10W. I found that both pairs were too narrow. I was planning to tuck my jeans into these so I went with the extra wide calf but I found they were too wide.

As attractive as these boots are, I had to return them. The foot bed is way to narrow for my medium foot, and I'm not willing to go to a wide. Soles were too thin, and they were not comfortable to walk in. Wide calf fit very nicely. I like many Fitzwell styles, but was disappointed in this boot.

I ordered this boot in brown, it doesn't look anything like the pic. The shoe is very flat and the sole is smooth not somewhat chunky as it appears to me. It is an extra wide calf, that's a plus but the shoe is to small. I have more than a dozen pairs of boots and they are all a size 9. This 9 is to small.

I ordered a size 8, which is sometimes too bit. These boots were way too tight, even with nylons on they were too tight. The calf is way too big and sits away from your leg. Not happy with them. Returning them.

I have wide calves and slightly wide feet, and these boots did not work. I ordered a half size larger than my size, and they were way too small. The calf was also a good amount too big-would have been ok if I wanted to tuck jeans in, but that's not what I was looking for. Returned them.
