I greatly enjoy these boots. I have only had them for 3 weeks and have already received many compliments on them. They are very waterproof and I can easily walk through puddles or piles of snow. However, there is little arch support, if any. I do have bad arches, though. My main complaint would be that my feet are absolutely freezing when I wear them outside. And although we are in the middle of winter, I would highly recommend buying/wearing warm, thick socks when wearing these boots, especially if your feet get cold easily. Overall, these boots have been great so far. They are not difficult to get on or off and you can easily tuck your jeans into them (I pull my jeans around my leg, like a super skinny jean). I highly recommend these boots, with some warm socks!

My granddaughter requested these as a gift. She loves them. I have to say her feet will never get wet wearing them.

I bought these boots for my college-bound daughter who loves them. She says they are comfortable, practical, and, in the bright orange color, very cute. I also bought her the Hunter Liner Socks which serve as insulation from the cold and moisture.

I love my Hunter rain boots. This has been a rainy fall and winter so far here in Alabama, so I have worn them a lot already. I ordered my usual size 7 and they fit fine. I love the graphite color too. The boots are a little snug at the top, but fit well over skinny jeans and leggings.

Comfortable, beautiful boot! I love my Original Gloss boots. Got them in black and they look so much better than the regular black; the shine is nice and doesn't look as intense as the picture. Also, the gloss boots don't have the streaky white marks that the original boots do. They are super comfy and I love clomping around in them! Some other reviewers have noted that they are short and the boots do come up really high on your leg. I am 5'2" and they came up almost to my knees, but I don't find this to be a problem. I wear a 5.5-6 and got a 5 and they fit perfectly with socks. I am able to tuck my jeans/pants in, but it is definitely tight; if you are planning on wearing the Welly socks with these, then I don't think you'll be able to tuck your jeans in unless you have really skinny calves! I saw the Welly socks at Nordstrom though and I don't think they are that cute, the boots would be just fine without. So glad I got these, even though I live in Southern California.

These are true to size. I was worried about the calf fit because legs are shapely. Hunter or huntress? The regular hunter was perfect and very becoming. These have a great sheen. They also have very good traction on snow and ice.

I got my wife the Hunter boots in the high gloss violet for Chrfistmas. She absolutely loves them! She wears a 7.5, so I got her a size 39/8. They\'re slightly large without socks, but she wore them yesterday with a pair of thick hunting wool boot socks. Fit her perfectly! She had no issues tucking her jeans into the boots shaft (she wore a thin sock, folded her jeans around her legs & pulled the wool sock over her jeans. I have a feeling she will want another pair, or two in other colors!

Love these boots! They are surprisingly comfortable and been getting a lot of use in rainy weather. Great for cold mornings at the beach with my dog; used to have some chilly mornings when I'd get soaked when the tide came in quickly, but these are definitely waterproof and keep me warm and dry. I ordered a size down from my usual.

These boots are wonderful for several reasons: protect feet and clothing from the elements while maintaining style. Easy to wear with jeans, leggings, etc. Go with just about any type of outfit. Comfortable.

I ordered a pair of the Hunter Original Gloss boots in the beige color last night, and they arrived early the next morning. Zappos is the best. I have a pair of the Original Hunter boots in chocolate so I thought it would be nice to try a lighter color. I'm very happy with them. Nice high gloss and very good basic neutral color, none of the white film that was on the Original ones. It is hard to choose a color because there are so many good ones. I love the pumpkin and the graphite in the gloss. As usual, I recommend sizing down. I take a 7.5 so I ordered the 7. They are loose, but with heavy socks they're fine. I also purchased a pair of the Ugg innersoles to use with these. For a size 7 shoe, order a size 6 innersole.

These boots are amazing! I got them just in time for the rainy fall Chicago weather. The super tall height is perfect for rain, mud or snow! I'm 5'5" and they hit about 1" below the knee. I usually wear an 8.5, so I ordered the 8 because they do run large. I still have plenty of room to wear a wool sock or slip in the Hunter fleece liner socks. They're surprisingly comfortable and not as heavy as you'd imagine for such a tall boot. The glossy black finish does scratch and show scuff marks, but if you don't care as much for that as for keeping your feet warm and dry, I say it's well worth the price. They look great. I usually wear mine over black skinny jeans and have gotten compliments on them from men and women every time I've worn them. You'll feel like a kid again stomping through every puddle and walking through every mound of snow that's in your way. The best pair of rain boots I've ever owned!

I love the Hunter Original Gloss boots. I'm 5'3" and these boots were a little too tall for me. These hit just below my knee and are comfy to walk in. I went with my normal shoe size of 7M. With the liner, they are a good fit. Zappos has many cute liners to choose from. I purchased a medium liner and they are fine, too. I'm looking forward to snow days with the kids!

I bought these after my feet getting soaked in a few too many monsoon like days in Houston. I love them! They fit perfectly and I love the slim calf. I have very slim legs so all other rain boots gap 2-3 inches out from my leg. I bought these in bright orange and they are very cheery on gloomy, rainy days! If you're looking for rain (or light snow) boots, these are the ones to buy. They look so cute with jeans and leggings. They keep your feet dry and warm.

I love my Hunter Original Gloss boots in Violet! We just had our first snowstorm and I wore them out yesterday for the first time. Very comfortable and the color is so uplifting. Received many compliments throughout the day. I did have to return for a larger size. I wear a 7.5 and found the size 7 too snug. The 8 is fine although the wellie socks in size M made them too tight so the socks are going back. Was able to fit the pants leg of my jeans in these boots just fine. So I guess if you wear a half size, go up rather than down.

I love these boots, am obsessed with them actually! I can't wait to wear them in the snow, which is why I bought them. I hated ruining my designer snow boots in the wet slushy, sometimes dirty snow. This way I can look super cute and not worry about ruining my boots. Also, I love that I can change the look just by changing the color of the sock liners. One word of warning: I am 5'5" and would say I am more leg than torso, and these boots come up to right under my knees. So, if you are shorter than that, I would worry that they might be too tall for you. Otherwise, love them!

I was afraid these boots would be too big, too bulky, and too hot pink. They're not, they're not and they're not! LOVE THEM. Slim and stylish and the pink is a great magenta color! I normally wear a 7 and ordered a 7 and they fit fine but are borderline tight. I will expect them to expand a tad with some wear. They were excellent for my first walk in the rain. Worth the money, I expect they'll last for years!

Really love Hunter boots. My last pair lasted 3 years with moderate use before the seams split on both soles.

I loved the look of these and really want to love them overall, but they just feel way too big on my calves. I'm typically an 8 1/2 or 9, and got these in an 8. Length-wise they were great, but just too loose.

I love these boots. A little bit hard to take off, but with the help from a boot jack, it's not an issue. They are very comfortable and stylish. I really enjoy wearing them. The only issue I have with them is that they make sounds when I walk. The buckles ring, and the edges of the top calves hit my pants to make sounds. I wore a few times in the office where my co-workers could tell when I was walking around. A little embarrassing. Not a big deal though.

I loved these boots in red. They are beautiful. But alas... it was not meant to be. I don't have overly large calves, but these boots did not fit my legs at all. They were super tight at top and loose below calf. It looked terrible. I am 5' 9" and a size 10 so pretty average build. Will have to go with the boring old black in the adjustable. Boo. Sure wish Hunter would make other colors in that version.

Wanted to love these, but they didn't fit. I thought I had pretty average size calves, but these were way too tight in the calf, meanwhile the rest of the boot was too big, I pretty consistently wear an 8 (occasionally 7.5), but I was swimming in the 8. I returned them for a size 7 with the adjustable back to have more room in the calf, they fit perfectly and I love them!

These are definitely comfortable in the foot bed for sure - but they need to come in half sizes. I am a 6.5 in most shoes and that would have been perfect. I got the 7 and they're ok but are slightly big with normal socks on. But then, the 6 would have definitely been too small in the calf. These are definitely not for bigger calves. I'm 5'8 135 lbs and by no measure have larger calves but still have to work to get them off.

Great boots! I usually wear an 8 and ordered these 1 size up. Even one size up they're really hard to get off but I think with time it will be easier.

I love these boots! They fit well and don't slide off of your feet and they are super warm. I love the color choices. Only thing bad about them is that they are scuffed after only wearing them a few times.
