Great color, comfy, cozy, and cute. Do, however, pull them straight on and up; do not loosen the buttons.

This boot is really comfortable and warm without being clunky or too warm to wear inside for an hour or two. Provides great traction and arch support; plus it's super lightweight. It's a little annoying to pull on and off without making folds in the bottom of your pants, but not impossible at all. I recommend it.

Never have I been so happy with a shoe purchase! Last year I was prepping for college in Seattle and wanted rain resistant shoes that were not just a pair of chunky, rain boots. These have been the most comfortable, versatile shoes I could have asked for. They can take on rain (it bounces right off the top and does not drip into the sides either) and are steady in the snow (with their Merrell approved hiking grip at the bottom). These shoes are functional as well as cute and oh so easy to wear. I feel like I can go anywhere in them. I knew I would be wearing socks on the bigger side in these so bought a size 9½ and I am usually a 9. They do not feel loose or look huge on at all. They are my favorite shoes!

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever bought. I would recommend them to anyone with feet problems!

Love these boots. Trudged around in them on a ski vacation for a whole week. They were warm and felt broken in right out of the box. I ordered a size up as suggested by others and they fit perfectly. Slipping them on and off was easy. I think those buttons are for decoration.

I probably would have kept these boots if they weren't a wee bit small. They do however run true to size because after I sent these back all my other purchases were the bigger size and they fit perfectly. They are so cute, well made and very striking on. I would highly recommend.

These run really small, about a full size, maybe a little more. Other than that, I think these are the best boots I've ever owned. I bought 2 pairs in different colors, after getting the size right.

I wore these walking all over New York in January in 19th of snow and slush and my feet were warm and dry and really comfortable. They look cute, too.

I bought these because I have a outdoors night lab once a week. I go to school near Boston, and at night, plus wind, it can get in the negatives. After a good hour and a half outside, everything was numb except for my toes and lower legs. And this was with wearing normal socks. The rubber sole is great on top of ice, snow, slush, just w/e. One person commented on how the closures are difficult, which is true at first. I've found that once you get the button through the strap, these shoes operate as pull ons. The shoe is adorable and a great addition to a casual winter wardrobe.

Love these boots. Very warm and totally waterproof (so far!). Best snow boots yet and I have had a hard time finding good ones.

Very comfortable, very warm. At the beginning it was a little hard to tie/untie the buttons, not so much now that they have stretched a bit.

I wanted to like these boots after trying a few different pairs, but they just felt smaller than marked, and at a size 11, there was no larger size to order. But they look great, I think they'd be warm, and they had great arch support.

These boots are very comfortable and warm! I've walked through slush and snow in these and my feet never got wet or cold. Well worth the money; I wouldn't be able to survive the Chicago winters without them!

These boots replaced my worn out Uggs and I love them. Fits like a shoe and is lightweight. Based on the other reviews, I ordered a half size up since fhey are a bit narrow. I haven't had the chance to test them on the ice yet,

Love these boots! They are super warm and comfortable to walk around in. I normally wear a size 6 shoe, so I got a 6.5 to accomodate a warm sock and they fit perfectly. Very pleased with these boots overall!

My feet and body love Merrell's and this one is no exception. They are very comfortable and look good with jeans or leggings.

These are very comfortable and warm. They are stylish and durable. I wore them in the last snow storm and found they had good traction.

These boots are awesome! It felt snug when I first put them on but they do ease up a bit when you start wearing them. After an hour or so of having them on, they are a perfect fit. I leave the buttons alone. Slips in and out easily. It has a lot of support all the way around. Great buy!

These boots are wonderful. They are so warm & cozy & comfortable. I love them. I was not sure and hunted around but these boots are fabulous. Bought a half size up and fit great. May not have even needed it but depends on the socks you wear. Don't need to use the buttons, they just slide on no problem.

I tried many pairs of boots before these. These are nice looking, very warm, and fairly easy to get on and off. I really appreciate the other customers who wrote to say to leave the buttons fastened and to just pull them on. Great customer service (I was upgraded to overnight) and an easy return for the boots that didn't suit me. Thank you Zappos -- you are a great company.

I love these boots! I normally wear an 8 1/2-9, and in these the 9 fit best. They are very comfortable and warm outside, and yet my feet don't get too hot when I wear them inside. If you wear skinny jeans and want to tuck them inside the boot, there may not be enough room, but I like bootleg jeans and just wear them over the boot.

Absolutely wonderful and much more stylish than most. Easy pull on without unfastening the strong elastics, warm, no slip soles, exactly what I needed for my first New England winter. Now I need to find something similar but knee-high.

I fell in love with the look of these boots when my daughter's friend showed up wearing them. The next day my pair arrived from Zappos and I haven't taken them off since. I have multiple foot problems and am able to wear these boots for hours without pain. Traction on snow and ice is excellent and we've had plenty of that!

Love these boots! Warm, comfortable, slip on & off (never use the buttons), no heel drag. So comfortable and light that I wear them instead of sneakers for my winter walks. My favorites!
