The classic style of the Fifth Avenue allows it to work well with a suit or on "smart casual" days. Comfortable and good looking with high quality. An excellent product.

I Tell my friends that the Park Avenue is the most popular dress shoe in the world when I'm trying to convince them that they should try Allen Edmonds. However I don't own a pair of Parks because I prefer the 'flashier' cap of the Fifth Avenue. Best looking black shoe in my wardrobe. Polishes up like no other. Thats saying a lot when you have Bruno, Salvadore and Alden in your black shoe line-up! The shoe is compfortable and stylish. It attracts attention on Sundays, at the office and at weddings. I also have it in Chocolate suede. Comfort and style at its best! Adding these or the Parks to your wardrobe would be sartorial genius!

Impressive looking dress shoe. A little more difficult to spit shine than the park avenue, but once I get them filled in they'll shine just fine!

I was happy that Allen Edmonds finally brought back the Fifth Avenue. My husband had a pair 20 years ago and his foot grew 5 years ago and couldn't wear them and I purchased a simular style. He just loves this syle.

I bought this pair about 12 years ago, and best shoes I have to date. Looks great to this day. I wear to work usually, and especially when I will be on my feet for long periods, just fits like a glove. Plus they hold up fantastic, only now being recrafted for 1st time. This pair made me a true believer in Allen Edmonds products and their quality and value.

These shoes are extremely comfortable and have a great look. Perfect for those who wear a 5 last.

This is my first pair of quality dress shoes and I love them. I've been wearing shoes that are 1-2 sizes too large just to get the width right, but it is so much better to spend the money for good footwear.

I'm a recent convert to Allen Edmonds shoes. The Fifth Avenue is my second pair after a pair of McNeals I bought a few months ago. I have a slightly wide foot and have been walking in pain for years with regular D width shoes. The E width shoes are heaven. Why did I wait so long? Also I work overseas, and am proud to be able to wear such a well crafted American-made product.

I tossed my two other dress walnut shoes (J&M and ToBoot)...these are fabulous. Look great, comfortable on day one 9only two wearings, so I expect exceptional comfort in another 2-3 wearings). I saw no quality issues, and i chose these over Alden's . Wore with light grey pinstripe (soft brown stripe0 and yellow tie...fantastic.

Classic appearance and generally fits well. A bit narrow through the arch. These will sharpen up your suit for Fall.

I purchased the 5th Avenue shoe because I wanted a well made quality pair of shoes that will look great with a suit or khakis. These shoes are made the highest quality leather and the construction is second to none. After the initial break-in, these shoes feel like I have on a pair of high quality leather gloves for my feet. I am on my feet all day, I teach music, and my feet feel great at the end of a long day. Looks, Quality, and Performance three things I look for in shoes and these shoes deliver. I am a Allen Edmonds customer for life!!!

I recently purchased a pair of Fifth Avenues in Black Custom Calf, and I was really impressed with their fit and style. They fit extremely well, just like my other Allen-Edmonds shoes. They look similar to the Park Avenue, but the subtle detailing across the toe is an interesting variation, and gives them a dressy but slightly less-formal look. The Black Custom Calf polishes to a stunning shine. All in all, a great shoe. I'm glad I bought them.

This shoe is very similar to Park Avenue and runs a bit narrow like the Park Avenue. The perforation on the cap toe gives this shoe a bit of a casual touch, but it still looks great with a suit.

I have worn these classic dress shoes literally every day for 7 years. I just had them restored through the Alllen Edmonds recrafting department and they are literally like new. I look forward to wearing them for a long time to come.

I bought this pair of shoes just before a trip to Madrid last spring. I brought them along thinking they'd be the shoes for an occasional fancy dinner. Instead, they were the most comfortable shoes (equal to my running shoes) for walking through the city day after day, enveloped in astounding museums, galleries, cafes, and bars.

The conservative styles of Allen Edmonds works well in all business and social settings. I am in my 50's and do not like to follow fickle fashion trends. I can comfortably wear the fifth avenue shoe in all settings and their statement is great looking, excellent quality, conservative shoes. In Seattle men check out each others shoes in business settings and often comment if they at Allen Edmonds. Clearly they mean something to a select group of men .

Along with the Park Avenue, this is the dress standard for traditional business attire. I have wide feet and I'm glad AE makes their well crafted shoes in my size. All my dress shoes are from AE: they're all well made, last forever (especially with recrafting) and, most of all, look great.

Having a narrow foot (12 AA), selecting shoes was always a compromise. The fit was never really right. For 50 years I told myself, " That is just the way it must be". Ten years ago when shopping for our daughters wedding, I learned of Allen Edmonds. My first pair (Park Avenue) actually fit me! How wonderful! I also purchased a pair of casual shoes (P/N 47213) which I wear regularly having re-crafted them twice over the past years. In the mean time I tried lesser expensive shoes that required a "short fit" to arrive at a (barely ) workable fit. Seeing that several major shoe brands were now made in China, I said, " No more", and ordered a pair of Fifth Avenue in just my size. They arrived today and fit perfectly. These are shoes that I can wear and feel comfortable in all day. Thank You Allen Edmonds for shoes that fit, and for a product that provides excellent value! I am both a very satisfied customer, and pleased to support products of value that are Made in America. Thanks!

This is my second pair of Allen Edmonds shoes. I was so thrill by the fit and quality of my first pair that i could not wait to purchsae another pair. I have already decided to buy another pair for leisure dress. Always feels good to my feet and best of all MADE IN THE USA !!
