The most uncomfortable shoes I've ever owned. I've had them for 6 months and the leather simply won't break in. They haven't given at all.

This shoe fit well first time I put them on my feet. Wore them all day, the first day of wear. Solid support and comfort. Many shoes and their manufacturers boast about shoe comfort because of cushioned insoles, additional padding, and thick rubbery outer soles. Those products need as much because of lesser materials used and poor construction. These Allen Edmonds shoes need none of that because of quality materials and exemplary build and construction. I plan on wearing for several days, then having local cobbler add a thin layer of rubber to the all leather outer sole for its protection and longevity in between half sole replacements.

I work in retail and needed a comfortable pair of shoes that would hold up to high volume use. Allen Edmonds fits the bill. I've used there re-crafting service and you would swear you get a new pair of shoes back. I rotate these out with some Cole-Haan's and keep them in shoe trees. Gonna have these for years to come. Only 4 out of 5 stars on comfort because the break in period can be uncomfortable but after that they are like wearing slippers

These are a beautiful pair of oxfords. Not too much decoration, sophisticated cap on the toe. Beautiful coloring. I've never worn a dress show this comfortable, especially at the beginning. I've worn other brands, less expensive brands, and they just don't compare. This is my favorite pair of shoes and I plan to buy the same style in black.

Nice shoes, style and comfort is good. I generally wear a 8.5 Kenneth Cole reaction dress shoes and sneakers as well, but the 8.5 on these run a little bigger. I ordered half a size smaller (8) and they fit perfectly.

This was my first Allen Edmonds and perhaps my last. I ordered the shoe in a 10.5, after seeing a Master Fitter at an AE store. The shoe seemed a little roomy, so I went back to the AE store for some advice, and even tried on a 10D and 10E. In the end, the Master Fitter suggested I use a smartfeet insole in the 10.5D (I have flat feet), and it seemed okay when I left the store. As the days have gone on, my feet and knees have been beyond painful, and it seems to be getting worse. Without the insoles, I couldn't even go 1 hour in these shoes. Nice waste of money.

Had issues with the quality and fit of these shoes. In particular it was too narrow on the outer edge of the shoe in a random place. This is after the AE store salesperson fit me. The shoes were not too narrow, they just cut in at one location on one shoe. I thought it was just an odd shoe so I exchanged them and had the same problem with the second pair. Would not recommend.
