I love these shoes. I like the style, with just a tad of flare but otherwise understated, and the color is different from others in my collection.

I know that an Allen Edmonds shoe in the 65 last will fit me great, and that the 65 last in a balmoral shoe will usually fit me perfectly. Consistency means a lot. This is my first pair of Fifth Avenues, and, no surprise, they fit perfectly. The Fifth Avenue is a formal-looking shoe, but I hoped that in Walnut it would be more flexible and work with less formal dress. It does. You don't have to be wearing a suit to wear these shoes. The walnut finish is gorgeous. They look just great. Clean and simple.

Very happy with the look and feel of the shoes. Soft and not stiff - making it very comfortable and not having to worry about breaking them in or being hard on my feet. Wore them for 16 hours the first day and feet felt great! Worth every penny.

I love the clean look of this product and the mix of contemporary styling and traditional accents/details. All of the 8 pairs of AE shoes I own (each a different style) have taken a bit to break-in, but once you do, I can walk as comfortably for miles in these shoes as I otherwise could a pair of quality running shoes. Can't say enough good things about these shoes and looking forward to showing off this new pair which are good with formal business attire or even with blue jeans. Comfortable at 15,000 steps a day and beyond.....

These to me look the best in a suit. The Allen Edmonds quality to me a second to none. When one decides to get serious about the shoes he owns you got to look at it as an investment and in my opinion own multiple pairs.

I'll never buy another brand of dress shoes. They hold up to the abuse of my daily life and look good while doing it.

No other dress shoes compare to Allen Edmunds shoes. Cant beat the comfort and quality.

I'm wearing shoes and are somewhat tight especially the right shoe. I hope that in the next weeks the leather of the shoes soften and fit better. Overall, great quality of shoes.

Only wore them once so far, but what a great feel for a brand-new shoe. I will buy a second set this year I feel as well. I have already told co-workers how well I liked them and passed on your team.

Yes, some people still wear suits and dress slacks and need an elegant and understated dress shoe to carry off important meetings, interviews, etc.. I've discarded my old boxy suits with the pleated pants in favor of a more narrow profile, and these shoes look great with narrow trousers in a range of colors from black to charcoal grey to navy or light blue. And right out of the box they were comfortable and stable.

Well crafted! Like all hard sole leather shoes, it takes a bit to break in but very comfortable during and after the break in period. This is my first set of AE shoes. I should not have waited. Love the shoe even more because of the fact that they are manufactured in the USA. AE shoes cost more but the quality is worth the extra cost and quality is why we need to keep manufacturing here.

I purchased 3 pairs: Burnished Brown, Dark Chili, and Walnut Calf. I like the colors, and the burnished look. Comfortable fit. I get a lot of inquiries as to the brand of the shoe. Great product.

As advertised, definitely a comfortable and well-made shoe. You can absolutely notice quality when compared to any other brand or lower priced shoes.

My wife surprised me with these shoes in dark chili color for my birthday last year. From the moment I slipped them on I can honestly say these are the most comfortable pair of dress shoes I have ever worn. I have other pairs of AE shoes in my work dress shoe rotation, but there is something about this leather they used for the chili color that has set this pair above and beyond in comfort for me. I recently picked up a pair in black on a recent sale in hopes that the new pair will live up to my current pair in chili. Perhaps I got lucky with an exceptionally good fit, but I would highly recommend the fifth avenue in chili to anyone considering them.

I've been wearing these shoes since the mid 80's when a friend of mine told me about them. I've owned over 15 pairs and have always gotten them refurbished which makes them last longer. I've loved them over the years. My only reason for the 'good' value is because I've noticed that the burgundy color must not be allowed in the building for the Fifth Avenue anymore or I'd be ordering another pair right now. Don't know where I'll have to go to find another shoe but I guess change is inevitable.

The are the most comfortable shoes out of the box that I have ever owned. Great color, good looking, and that last forever.

I bought a pair of Fifth Avenue Oxfords after my brother showed me his pair of McAllister wingtips in Walnut color. AEs are comfortable dress shoes and they look 1st rate when comparing them to all other dress shoes. This pair will last me a very longtime because I am saving them for special occasions. I do have a pair of AEs The City and Lexington captoes that I wear all the time to work. I am very happy that I spent the money on such fine shoes. Regards.

Those are one of my most comfortable dress shoes, after a couple of days of breaking. The dark chili color is great with a suit, jeans or khakis.

I knew this shoe would work for my feet as it's made on the same last as my favorite pair of AEs. The shoes required about two and a half days of wear to feel broken in, which is remarkably fast. I've received several compliments about them, and so far they're another solid reason I love AE shoes.
