Because I have a very narrow foot, a B-width it’s basically the best that I can find. However, I add an insole and normally the shoe will fit fine. In this particular case the added insole made for a perfect fit and the shoe is extremely comfortable.

Right out of the box, these boots fit like a glove. They are a great lightweight but very supportive boot. The laces are easily loosen when putting the boots on, and then can be pulled snug with little effort. These will be my every day around the house / gardening boot. I am so pleased with them I may buy a second pair to avoid a future model change. Highly recommended!

Overall the shoes were comfortable for my feet. I'm on them all day and I was surprised about how they fit.

These shoes are very light and comfortable. My father's feet swell sometimes, and he can still comfortably fit into these.

I have never worked with a more satisfactory mail-order house.. I was assisted very ably when ordering these Dunham Boots. The lady also helped greatly in my returning the PROPET boots. The salesguy a few days earlier {when ordering the Propets} was also polite, helpful and a pleasure to do business with. This Zappo company is GRADE A.

Bought these for an extended trip to Central and Eastern Europe during the winter months of Nov thru May. They look nice enough to be worn with jeans and casual slacks. I expect to be in snow and wet conditions most of the time. I’ll let you know later how they fare. The size for me is perfect and felt comfortable out of the box. They appear to be a quality boot. How they hold up in adverse conditions is yet to be determine. I’ve bought other footwear from Zappos and have always been very pleased with their service, product quality and dedication to pleasing the customer. I’ll be a dedicated, returning customer as long as they stay focused on details.

Love these shoes. This is my second pair. First pair, which I had for years, didn't have a width option and were a little tight, but wearable. This pair fits perfectly. I am an outdoor wedding photographer. It is hard to find shoes that look dress enough but can go in the bushes, over rocks, in sand and get wet. Polish them up and they are ready for the next round. The first pair the glue in the sole failed, but the leather and soles had plenty left on them. This pair I am going to watch more closely and get them repaired at the first sign.

I was pleased with these. I've had problems with other brands in this style digging into or rubbing the underside of my ankles, but these were fine. They turned out to be not quite as durable as I had hoped, based what I've experienced with some others. (Granted, my expectations may be unreasonable because, due to always having a difficult time finding shoes that fit well, I tend to let them get far more worn out than most before I get around to searching for replacements.) Even so, I would say they have at least moderate durability. The laces became badly frayed after about a year, then eventually broke. (I wish Zappos would include the lace length in the product description, because I always guess it wrong when replacing them.) I would give those low marks, but the issue is pretty minor. The bond between the sole and upper was pretty solid. After a couple years, though, that gave way at one spot on one shoe (so, it has not been waterproof since then). With most shoes, that situation quickly spreads and the sole then becomes mostly detached within a few months. However, after nearly four years of wearing them daily...they still hold together with no flopping. The gap at that spot has lengthened a bit, but no others have developed. After about three years, the tread had become noticeably worn (all the corners are now fully rounded) and eventually cracked all the way through next to a couple of the lugs (more leaking spots). Some pieces have torn off on the heel. Again, I would still consider that to be a reasonable amount of time before failure. The fabric liner also lasted that long before holes began to develop. However, even after all this time, the insoles are still intact. I've never had factory insoles hold up that long. Usually, they disintegrate or wear thin within the first or second year. Not these. They probably don't cushion as well as new, but still function fine. Also, all the stitching still holds and none of the eyelets have pulled out.

a comfortable boot that I use for outdoor work. also fairly light weight. for the last year I only buy Dunham shoes or boots for two reasons: 1. I can get true extra wide (4E) size … most brands simply do not offer a true extra wide size. 2. the quality of Dunham has been consistently good. I have 5 pairs in different styles and each pair is excellent.

Bought these for my husband who normally wears 12 4E in shoes/sneakers. He’s had a very hard time finding boots that fit. Bought these in 13 4E and he says they fit great! He’s worn them out in the cold and said they do a nice job keeping his feet warm also. Jury is out on quality but they seem to be made well so we are hoping they hold up well.

I am sending these back because I was looking for a boot that would be a little higher on the ankle than the Dunham Cloud. These are almost identical in that sense to the Dunham Cloud and very comfortable, so I may later end up ordering a pair. However I am going to keep looking for one that is higher, better for snow, but still offers a deep toe box like these Dunhams. Thank you, Zappo's, for letting me find the right shoe!

Like others have said, these boots really felt great out of the box. Due to multiple surgeries on my left foot it’s permanently larger (and more sensitive) than my right foot. These boots actually feel good on both feet. I wear a 14 wide and can say these are the most comfortable I’ve found. I bought them in black and they look fine, but they are not going to pass for dress shoes. The styling is well done, though, so even a size 14 doesn’t look like I’m wearing buckets on my feet.

Good shoes for my husband's feet, he is a diabetic and has to use special inserts which fit perfectly in these shoes. These keep him comfortable and mobile.

I finally found a shoe that fits. It's a bit "rough" inside the shoe right down past the laces. So far the shoe seems good. I wore it a lot today and it felt good. Glad for that. I usually don't have a larger than wide shoe, but the actual 4E was too wide for me. Glad I have the 2E now. Hope it will work for me for a good while. It doesn't have the puffiness or filling that athletic shoes have. Wish it had more of that! more comfort, but it works. Thanks for working with me to get a shoe that fits me. It's greatly appreciated!

The size and fit are perfect. My husband has a narrow foot and is always difficult to find shoes that fit for him. These fit like a glove and are a beautiful brown. QUICK to receive too!!
