This is a great looking shoe and fairly comfortable. However, if had softer padding internally, the comfort would be much improved.

I was recommended to zappos by son, who gave it rave reviews. I wasn\'t disappointed and recommend\r\nZappos to anyone looking for a wide selection of shoes or boots.

Zappos sent me worn, dirty shoes, and when I put that in a review they didn't publish it, nor did they contact me to make it right. I received these and they looked pretty nice, nicer than the photo. I wore them around the house on carpet for a couple days and thought they might be a little big. I checked for a half size smaller, 11.5 Narrow, and none were in stock. So trying a smaller size was out. Then I looked at these a little closer and noticed that there was dried mud in the grooves of the sole, and the soles were slightly, but noticeably worn. I should have returned them then and walked away with nothing but I decided to roll the dice. Big mistake. They are simply too big and of course now that I have worn them outside I cannot return them. Apparently the last person that had this pair did not feel as honest. Overall they are just OK. They have nice supple leather and they pair well with jeans. But they are simply too short (in height) to really be called boots. It is nice that they come in narrow sizes though. I just wish Zappos hadn't sent me worn ones and had the 11.5 N in stock for me to try.

These Dunhams look too much like senior citizen shoes. Not my preference in styling. I'm returning because of this. The shoes are well made though. Comfortable and the 4E's are wide! If you want wide, you'll get it.

Purchased for wet spring conditions. They do the job, and are seriously waterproof. I found the quality to be a disappointment, and the general feel to be cheap. They're OK at best.

I don't think the shoe is comfortable. I replaced the insole with a Dr. Scholl's insole, now the shoe feels comfortable. I feel I overpaid for the shoe. I got the shoe because I stand a lot, but the shoe is not good for standing or walking. I asked Zappos for a refund, but I was told after you wear the shoe once you can't get a refund. Zappos customer service is great.

I have searched many other brands like Rockport and Clarks for a good wide boot with plenty of toe room for an average wide foot, but have failed until I have found Dunham Addison. It is true what everyone is saying...if you like NB, then Dunham is the brand for you too. It is very comfortable and I started wearing the boots the minute I put them on with no break-in time. They are that comfortable!

I purchase Dunham for the size accuracy. I have a wide foot (4E) and the fit is spot on. They are well constructed and I find them comfortable enough to wear all day. I have two other styles of Dunham boots and I find the fit and durability consistent throughout. My thanks to Zappos for making a wide selection of wide shoes available. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

This is a nice looking, comfy boot. I am a woman who usually wears high tops and this boot is a great alternative for my wide feet. My husband is jealous and wants to steal them!

I'm returning after a year of daily wear - to buy another pair. Wonderfully comfortable - dry - and held up to some pretty rugged use on the job. Soles still in decent shape but the cushion is tired and the leather is dis-bonding from the sole - but that's okay - for the wear I did to this shoe it should fallen apart months ago - nice shoe Dunham.

I've been a Rockport wearer for years (no complaints save that their shoelaces are weak), and wanted to try something new. I've worn these Dunhams now for a month and they have been very comfortable. I have nearly flat feet but the arch support has been fine. I have wide toes with a narrow heel, so I went with the wide model. I have been able to wear these from dawn till dusk and not even notice I've got them on, a rarity among shoes for me. I am very pleased.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable! They also look good. Zappos is a great company to do business with. Fast, efficient, and fair.

If you search for your size and the site recommends going a size up, like it did for me, then ignore it and just get your size. I wear a 15 4E and the site recommended going to a 16 4E. I bought the 16's cause I figured the shoe ran small or something, it did not. I bought the black pair and it left black marks on the top of my socks. I returned the shoes and got 15's but they only had brown ones in stock. These felt really good on my feet and didn't seem to require any break in, however these also stained my socks but brown this time and now they stain every pair of socks I use on the heels and on the top of my feet. I've never had shoes stain my socks before and the stains don't wash out either. If it wasn't for that I'd give these shoes a 5.

I have to agree with the squeak that is a major complaint for me. I have purchased 5 pairs of these. I do wear these every day but I am only able to get about 6-8 months out of these boots. They are very comfortable but are not built to last. When I replace these they are no longer waterproof, I can no longer stand the constant squeaking and the soles are very worn.

My husband likes these shoes very much.We have purchased 5 pair. They are very comfortable but they don't seem to hold up. He does wear these everyday. I wish we could get more than 6-8 months out of these shoes. His major complaint is that they are no longer waterproof and the soles are very worn by the time we replace these.

Sole is just not comfortable. Feels very hard.

Shoe was not quite a half size too large, just enough for my foot to move around with every step to make it annoying and something I knew would be uncomfortable for any type of long-term walking. The rubber sole was squeaking as I walked around the wood floors of my house, so even if it fit I wouldn't have kept it. Honestly felt a little thin and cheap as well. I went with the ECCO Sport Rugged Track GTX Moc Tie which fit really well in the same size as this shoe and felt better made. The Ecco also comes in boot versions.

Shoes fit fine. I bought them because I have another pair of Dunhams but unlike them these shoes have nothing in the way of stability or support. More like enclosed flip flops than a shoe.

These boots fit well and look nice. But after a few days, both of the pairs I bought developed a loud, annoying squeak in the forefoot of the left sole. Squeak occurs as I roll onto toe and push off. It it had been only one boot I'd have thought it an anomaly, but both? Must be poor manufacturing and quality control.

Waited a long time for a shoe I liked in my size. Finally a 10 narrow! It fits! No toe binding. Good support. Walking a couple miles feels the same when I return as when I left. Dunham Addison mid boots fit fine. Thank you.

The ft and size is excellent, and my wide size 14 feet are not exactly the same size. The workmanship and materials appear to be very good and made to last.
