Loved the distressed taupe color, and they were really cute overall. But I found them to be a little narrow across my forefoot...though never thought of myself as having wide feet at all. Guess they just aren't for me.

These shoes are comfy and cool but they do get larger with wear so keep that in mind when you order. I usually wear a 9.5 or 10 and bought a 9.5 in these. I've had them almost a year now and they've stretched out a bit. Nothing some medium weight socks can't fix, though. Can't wait to get a suede pair!

I had always thought desert boots looked too hippy for me. I was more likely to be found wearing Allen Edmonds bluchers. For rougher outdoor service I had an affinity for White's boots (for example their famous smoke-jumpers). But I had to admit that wearing 10 pounds of leather on the end of my legs was less than ideal for long walks in the bush. I determined that chukka-style boots were the best lightweight solution. Wait a minute? Those hippy boots that look like they might go with polyester leisure suits? When I looked into it some more I found out they'd been around a lot longer than the 70's (which is as far back as I can personally remember). Since they were remarkably thrifty (under a hundred bucks at the time) I tried some out. I bought the suede ones first. They turned out to be nearly ideal for what I do a lot of, walking around the bush in northern Nevada. They're tall enough to keep the sand out (compared to an oxford walking shoe), they're light enough not to wear you down after a few hours walking, they breathe very nicely, and they wear quite incredibly. They don't offer the arch support or the protection of a harder boot but those things are a trade-off for weight. I tried these beeswax leather boots after I liked the suade ones so much. The leather is very nice especially if you keep it up with a little conditioner (beeswax and neatsfoot oil). I find that they pass as a substitute for a blucher for a little longer than the suade which really only look suitably dress-casual when they're almost brand-new. Where I find these are not as nice as the suede is in breath-ability. I find my socks get damp in these after no more than 6 hours or so whereas in the suede boots they seem to stay dry all day. No doubt the wax and oil simply result in less permeability. As such they may be a little more water resistant but they're still practically worthless if you need a waterproof boot.

Comfortable right out of the box and as others have said, no real arch support but I was warned. Nice color, didn't like the shoe laces that came with it but swapped them out. What's to say... they're a Classic!

These shoes have no arch or ankle support, but still feel reasonably comfortable. I think the biggest problem was that they felt between half and a full size too long. I had to buy extra soles to put into the shoe so that they would not slip off.

I really like these shoes. They are quite comfortable despite the fact that they have zero arch support. The toe is a smidge too long but not enough for me to send them back.

Just got these boots today, and they are exactly as depicted in the picture. I normally wear a 6.5 but ordered a 7 and am glad I did. I have a bunion on my right foot and they felt a little tight across the instep but have been wearing them around the house and can already feel that they are softening up. Looks good, especially with jeans, and a great price.

Love the old school look. They are very flat on the inside, and have 0 arch support. Love the crepe sole. A bit snug through the instep if you have a higher arch.

I have owned Clark's for more than 50 years, many, many pairs. They are my go to shoe. I was very disappointed that these boots, which were lovely to look at, had NO internal support. I could not walk in them for any length of time. Sad.

Loved these and wanted to make them work..but they came up a little too high in the back and rubbed against my leg.

After reading reviews elsewhere, I ordered a 1/2 size up. It was too big. I am returning because it was too big, and there is zero support. Not a particularly comfy shoe.

Too heavy for street walking. More of a hiking boot.

Boot definitely runs small and the instep is way too tight. I returned the pair I bought and plan to order a 1/2 size up. I hope those will fit better. ????

liked the look of this shoe. But with my high arch they were painful to wear. The inside is very stiff. Needed to return them.

I really wanted to love this boot, and was really disappointed that it ran a half to full size small. I have rather narrow feet, so the width was great, and I love the style & materials. The real bummer is that I couldn't even exchange for a larger size as none are offered, so the boots were returned.

Really well made shoe, beautiful suede leather, lovely color, but way too narrow in the width with no arch support. I would exchange them, but they don’t come in a wide width.

I really wanted these boots to work. They were too narrow, but the biggest problem was the stiffness of the heel--I thought there was cardboard packing in it--but no--it was the construction of the heel.

I love the look of this shoe, but way too narrow and flat for my comfort needs.
