Great looking shoe in the Beeswax Leather, but order up!!! I'm usually an 8.5 in casual boot-type shoes and sandals including those by Clark's, but these are tight in an 8.5. They're going back, but I've already ordered the 9. They are going to look great with jeans and casual slacks.

These boots are not made for walking! Great classic styling, but less support than a Chuck Taylor! I knew this going in so stuck my half-length Superfeet orthotics in, but that is not enough. If you want to walk any distance in these you may want full-length insoles, which adds to the cost.

While they start out a bit narrow, after you break them in a bit they get way more comfortable. I wear them with skinny jeans and cute socks.

Fit true to size. Ordered the beeswax brown leather. Somewhat stiff. Will have to break in. Nice style.

Very cute and overall comfortable out of the box. Only complaint is what I already read in reviews before buying is the not so great arch support. But ordering in my normal size meant there's plenty of room to add inserts and not feel tight.

Cute shoe for casual. Impair with khakis or skinny jeans. Not the greatest support for long treks.

Distressed Taupe does not at all match the color shown in photo. Actual color much lighter. Fit is true to size, a bit tight when you first wear them but it feels like they will def. stretch and be much more comfy after a few wears.

Great look with skinny jeans. They are really cute, very relaxed look with jeans and sweater. However, no padding on insole. Going to buy some Dr. Scholls inserts to make they more comfy and warmer for winter. Otherwise, love the look!

I love the look of these booties but with that being said, I will add they are not comfortable at all. There is no cushion in the sole and there is no arch support. It's somewhat of a non-issue if you buy a size up and add an insole but otherwise, they don't FEEL good. BUT you LOOK good, so there's that! :)

I loved these shoes the minute I saw them! The first week, I wore these things everyday, and got endless compliments. They made every outfit feel new. Unfortunately, I am a runner, and shortly after purchasing these shoes, I developed a sharp pain in my heel. There was no other thing to blame but these shoes. Reluctantly, I tucked these beauties back into my mudroom cabinet, not to wear them again until my pain had gone away. A month later, I still feel this pain and whenever I give these shoes a try, the pain gets worse, even with inserts. Such a shame.

These boots look amazing. The toe box is very narrow and the shoe is a little long but if I got a size smaller the shoe would definitely be too narrow. The crepe soles look black just walking across my floor (I swear, it's clean!)so if you are not sure if you're going to be keep them, be careful where you walk. They are so cute and fabulous so even though they are narrow, I recommend them.

I'm liking the look of these with my jeans and think they will work well all fall. They are a bit narrower, but in my usual size, 6 1/2, I still have no problem adding in my orthotic, which given the zero arch support, I will be needing!

The leather desert boots definitely takes a breaking-in-period to make them semi-comfortable. I started off by wearing them to the movies or short outings, then to work (I don't have to do much walking). Then one day I wore them shopping and had a nasty blister on the back of my heel at ankle width. The leather is STIFF and definitely needs time to loosen up. I've tried them with runched, bulky socks and leggings and not a good look. They look great with cropped or cuffed slacks and jeans, especially boyfriend jeans. I haven't tried them with skirts or dresses yet. I like them but wonder if the suede wouldn't have been more comfortable to start with. I didn't get suede because of how hard they are to clean. It's a trade off.

I liked the look of these in the picture, but when I got them (in an 8.5), they just looked too big and masculine with the chunky sole and stitching across the edge.

Absolutely adorable LOOKING, but didn't fit my feet well. A bit narrow for my foot (would they have stretched out?) but the HEEL, oh my. What was going on with the shape of the heel? That was a blister waiting to happen, just a funky shape in there. Then there was the lack of arch and feeling of "instability" with the crepe sole, a weird uneveness....I WANTED TO LOVE THEM. They are classics, I know, but I needed a shoe I could put on and just WEAR. Sadly, these are not those. I'll be jealous if you have better luck than I did. Good luck.

I don't know why 72% of the reviews say this boot runs true to size, because it's well known for running large. I would say that it runs between one-half size to one full size too large, although most will say one-half. Maybe it's because Clarks typically run about a half size larger or because people are comparing them to dress shoe sizing, but I'd highly recommend sizing down by at least one-half size.

The Beeswax Leather desert boots were my introduction to Clarks. I wore them often and for well over a year before they started to wear out. They've got a classic and versatile look. Reasonably comfortable, but benefit from an additional insole. I recommend the Desert Mali boot for a taller, more supportive version of this look.

I love Clarks shoes! These are really cute! They do run a little big. I wish they were smaller at the top as there is a gap between my ankle and the shoe. There is no support. My feet generally get pretty cold in these, so I wear two pairs of socks. I feel like they go with a lot of outfits and look good with both skinny jeans and regular jeans.

I love these shoes, the look is exactly what I wanted. However I have been wearing them for several months now with drug store arch supports, and they are not comfortable. I still love their look but I do not look forward to putting them on!

My girlfriend loves these shoes! The only thing she doesn't love is that the crepe rubber soles get dirty rather quickly. This isn't a downfall of the shoe, but rather just a style preference.

A great, sturdy pair of shoes! Warning: They are very very stiff and require a lot of breaking in. Mine are not yet quite "comfy" although they are getting there. But I am pretty sure they are going to last a while!

These are my very first pair of Clarks. They are stylish and still super comfy! I have a high instep and this pair of shoes offers plenty of room! Great buy!

I love these boots! They're suede, so I waterproofed them to add some durability.

Great look to these boots. I will say that the suede scuffs really easily, but I don't mind that the shoes now have a "worn look." I don't find the lack of arch support a problem like some people noted. These definitely run a half size large, so I had to return the first pair I bought.
