These are really cute! At first they seem like they could be uncomfortable. But as you wear them, they soften up and are pretty decent. I found the higher back to be a bit annoying on my achilles tendon area, especially when driving. They are a great color and look great with jeans. They also would be cute with cute long socks and a skirt. I am 41 and have two teenage daughters. Last year when I thought about getting them, they told me they were ugly, so I didn't get them. Once I got them, they were very jealous of the fact that they were MINE! So ha ha to them! I would not suggest them for a long day of standing or walking. They don't have great support for your low back. But for knocking around, they are great and go with most everything. I say get them!

These are a great casual boot. The leather is much thicker than I expected, well made. I am pretty sure that I had a pair just like these back in the 70's. If arch support is not a concern than get a pair. Very comfortable.

So I just got these and so far so good. They fit me perfectly width wise too. They definitely make you look too cool for school if that's what your going for. They do look a little manly and kinda wide but I have smaller feet so its not that noticeable, but if you have big ol Wiley coyote feet then I'd go with something different.

These boots are great. I bought them because I wanted something that I could wear everywhere like sneakers that just looked a little nicer and more put together. They're well made, comfortable, and they look cool. I can wear them to the wine store where I work, and to a concert later that night. I can walk all over the city and not think about them at all. The shape holds up well over time and the suede still looks great after several months of wear. They don't really have a break in period at all, they just continue to soften as you wear them. I should note that there is no arch support at all, but there is plenty of room for an insole, which I actually kind of see as a plus.

I have not actually worn them yet, other than in the house, (due to the rain). They do fit well and are super cute. Hope to wear them soon.

At first I really didnt like these because they were so uncomfortable, especially around the ankles. They rubbed so bad on my left ankle that I could barely walk, and there were deep red lines that almost looked like a cut. However, after trying them out again after my ankle healed, they are already a lot more comfortable and there is no painful rubbing on my ankle anymore. There is no arch support so I have to wear inserts, which make them feel a little tight. Overall I would probably return them if I could but since its too late I'll keep wearing them in hopes of them becoming more comfortable over time.

I ordered these in a size 9. I have three other pairs of Clarks shoes/boots, all 9s, that fit great. These boots were huge and at least a size larger than a 9, so I am sending them back.

I wanted to purchase, but debated on what color to get. I finally buckled down and got the "Taupe Distressed" and I absolutely love them. I see a lot of others saying they aren't as comfortable as most Clarks, but that's because they didn't add the same comfort soles you get with the Wallebees. However, you can purchase the soles if you want extra comfort. Also be sure to wear high crew socks with these or else the back of the shoe bites into your ankle. The Taupe Distressed are also lighter than the picture.

Received these boots today and immediately love them! The suede is very good quality. The shoe is just a tad too long for me, but not enough for me to return (in case I wear thicker socks than usual during winter months). No arch support but they look so cute I'm not worried about it!

These boots are exactly what I had been searching for...they are perfect with skinny jeans/skinny cords as an alternative to tall boots. Really super cute on! I am quite picky and I find them extremely comfortable; I can walk all day in them. They are well constructed and the suede leather is of high quality. I am especially fond of the crepe sole which keeps you steady now that the snowing will be coming soon. I love them so much that I immediately went back to the Zappos site and ordered another pair in the Distressed Grey leather (which is also to die for). The only negative I could find is that there is no arch support, ironically though, my feet have not been sore as all. I think it might be due to the crepe sole. There is room though in case I ever want to add an insole. As always, I love Zappos fast shipping and emails keeping you in the loop with order updates! Also, I really love the video portion and all the views of the shoe within the Zappos listings. It is competely what sold me as I have never tried these boots on in person before ordering. Thanks!

I bought this boot in chocolate suede. I was looking for a simple chukka style that could be worn day to day. These boots are very comfortable. That said, the foot bed is very flat and there is no cushion to speak of. But I've worn them for some lengthy city walking and they were plenty comfortable for me. They're a good looking boot (I get lots of compliments). I really like the neutral brown color. This is a great shoe for someone looking for something casual to wear that has a little style and flair. I think it pulls a look together really nicely. I feel polished and put together.

Love these boots! Comfortable, stylish, go with everything (boyfriend jeans, skirts/tights, skinny jeans, whatever) and the color is really versatile.

I love these boots. I bought them in size 8 (usually I wear 7.5) and they are just a little too big but for somebody who works in retail and stand up 8 hours the extra room is a big help.

These boots are a classic. They are attractive and sturdy, and will probably get more comfortable as I wear them. They have very little arch support, if any.

Got it in Beeswax Leather. It's effortlessly stylish and very comfortable. It was true to size and so far I haven't had any problems with it.

Great boot. It took about 2 weeks to break-in, but is now very comfortable. The sole is very quiet and durable. The color is a great brown, though it tends to mark easily.

Love the color and the looks. Unfortunately they are too narrow. Had to return them. Would love it if Clarks would make them in wide width.

These felt like a favorite old pair of shoes right out of the box. Very handsome too. No doubt they are keepers. They will be worn and worn for many years.

When I was a teenager in the 70s I wanted these boots so bad! Finally I got them, and am happy with them. Same great style. They're a city type boot, not for hiking in rugged terrain, which is fine with me. I bought the size recommended by the Clarks chart, which goes by length of foot. And it's the right size.

I have loved this boot since the 70s. I think I have ordered before and thought I would try again. It does not work for me because they are too heavy. That is my problem. it may not bother other people. I do love the style!

Regular size 9 did nit fit. Ordered one size up 9.5. Fits alright and does not come in a wider width. Like the style and quality.
