Very satisfied. Great fit, no break-in required. I bought 1/2 size larger. Currently in Alaska with morning lows in the teens. Keeps my feet dry and warm with 1 pair of socks; no need for an undersock yet.

Wow, these are beautifully crafted and functional. Can't wait to try them in the snow and sub zero. Well constructed, masculine and rugged. A must have boot for tailgating in the winter.

I have been looking for a warm winter boot, and these were recommended by my spouse. After trying them on, I believe that I have found the boot that I have been looking for.

Extremely comfortable boot. Looks and is a bit wide, but foot fits nicely due to boot liner. Plus extra width of the sole is what you want when dealing with walking on top of snow. Perfect for snowy, cold and wet conditions. Excellent for apres ski or walking the streets of NYC on a snowy day.

This is a great boot overall and it defiantly looks great on your feet. The leather is supple and not ridged, so there's no breaking in period. The traction is excellent and inner wool boot is very warm. I had a slight issue with two things. The size and the arch. I had to exchange mine for a 1/2 size smaller. I ordered an 11.5, which felt like a size 12. So definitely order a 1/2 size smaller, as the inner wool boot will give a little and make it feel a bit bigger. There is no arch support either, so if you re picky about arches you might want to rethink these. I bought an arch support which helped out. So far I m pleased with my order. I'm ready for an 8 month Colorado winter! :)

This is a great winter boot. I went ice fishing in these up in Maine and they kept my feet warm and dry. The traction held up well on the ice too. The boots also made shoveling snow a breeze this year.

Initial impressions are of good build quality. So far these have been amazingly warm and comfortable. I have large size 15 feet, and ended up with size 14. If they feel a little snug to begin with they break in rather quickly and fit perfectly. I highly recommend following the manufacturer's fit guide. They look amazing. Great 'classic' colors.

We live in Minnesota. Bought these for my husband's daily trek to work on foot. The lining is great because it comes out which makes tucking in pant legs easier, but it can take some getting used to. He says his feet are warm and protected from water, but they do look like he's wearing Goliath's shoes. He had another pair of Sorel winter boots which were 10's; these new 10's are massive - the length, the width, the outline, the tread, everything about them... We could've exchanged them, but they still somehow fit, just look a wee goofy. We also added athletic sole inserts for extra support. Overall, very pleased despite massive giants boots. They are tall enough to give more protection from wind and water. When ordering, just don't assume that all Sorel boots are created size-equal.

My husband loves these boots! He says they're super warm, comfortable, and keep his feet dry. He tried a few pair, but these were the hands-down winner.

I bought these for our son for Buffalo Winters. I like the feel of the inside of the boots. They are very warm. There are no cold ties. These are a great buy.

Very nice cold weather boot.I use mine on 18 to 30 degree days for sitting in a deer stand. They keep my feet good and warm.

Overall, I am very pleased with these boots. New Sorels are great snow boots. These have great traction and thus far have proved to be very warm. My only complaint is the sizing. I read other reviewers who claimed the boots were a bit over sized. I couldn't disagree more. Wish there had been +1/2 size option. I wear 10 1/2 and probably should have opted for size 11. We'll see how they break in. Zappos is the best!!!

This is a very stiff boot. I had trouble getting my fat foot in. I could not find how to get the extra sole out so I just put my foot in without my orthotic. It was a good fit and felt nice around my foot, which is huge for me. I think you should be able to wear a fat sock with these boots. But I will be sending them back because I need my orthotics.
