What can I say? My Caribou boots are 35 yrs plus old. I started wearing these boots somewhere between 8-10 yrs old and now I'm in my mid 40's looking for a new pair. For the first 10 yrs of owning the boots I used mink oil 2-3 times. The craftsmanship is EXCELLENT. After all these years I replaced the liners 3x. The leather that holds the rings for lacing the boots finally gave out after all these years (these are the only things that need repair). In all these years my feet never got wet. WOW!! The only 2 faults I can see in the boot are these 2 things: You need to try the boot on in store before ordering (boot size and feet size were very different). The second fault is warmth. The wool liners did not keep my feet warm in Minnesota winters (depending on activities or temp I always used a warmer and shoved it down into my boot). The only real issue was the warmth. If you know that your going to be outside for an extended period and/or on the ice your going to have to do something to keep your feet warm (several layers of sox and/or a warmer). After all these years I am now looking for another pair. I would like to try one of the pairs like the 1964 or the Pac boots but the Caribou are tried and tested. If anything lasts 30 years you would be dumb not to buy the same thing again. Sorel puts out an excellent product!

Very comfortable and cute. The temps haven't dropped for me to try out the warmth or waterproof features but I am very pleased thus far.

I have been thinking about buying these for months and finally committed. So happy I did! I LOVE THEM! I read all reviews about sizing and sized half a size down which was perfect! I took them for their first mountain trip last weekend and my feet were warm dry and toasty. There is plenty of room around the cuff if you have larger or low calves and they are nice and snug around the ankle but let your toes breath and have toe wiggle room which I love about boots like this. These boots are built to last and think these may last me into my old age! Very very happy I spent the money! I want sorel boots for the whole family next winter!

I love these boots. I have tried many boots over the past few years, and none of them have been able to keep my feet warm. These boots keep my feet warm and dry so that I can finally enjoy a beautiful snowy day. I loved them so much, that I got a pair for my daughter and my 2 nieces. Sincerely, Christine Billerica Massachusetts

I spent a lot of time researching good winter boots! These have met my expectations to the fullest! My feet have always been cold in any boot I have warn except these! Super comfortable and keep your feet very warm. I normally wear a 7.5 but ordered a 7 because of all the reviews, fits nicely with thick socks. I probably could of gone to a size 6.5 because I normally don't wear thick socks. But I still love them. I would definitely recommend these to everyone, LOVE THEM!

These boots are perfect for going out on a cold winter day and still looking cute while be warm and dry and not having to worry about slipping and falling. They fit really snug around the ankle which I appreciate because I know snow won't be getting in. I recommend them to anyone!

This is the third pair of caribou sorel i have bought. well worth the cost. I wear these boots daily during the winter and they hold up well. They do run big in size but that works for me with 2 pair socks. Love them.

Love these boots! Very stylish and yet completely functional for wet winter weather! So many complements, I got the quarry color and it's a beautiful neutral! It's a bit of a "to do" to get them on but well worth it! I wear regular socks so my usual size is perfect. If you want thick socks you might go up a half size but the boots are warm enough for me with thinner socks. So nice to feel warm AND stylish!

These are an excellent snow boot. I can't imagine walking long distances in them as they are sort of klunky, but they are a snow boot so that's to be expected. I find them true to size. I am a wide size 9 and the 9 fits fine. I read some reviews that said to size up but I disagree, unless you plan to wear them with multiple pairs of socks which is unnecessary. I shoveled my driveway and sidewalks this morning in them (about 4" of snow) with thin socks on and my feet were still warm and dry afterwards.

These boots are very warm and practical. They are a bit chunky, but that is best for stability and warmth. The boots are easy to slip on and off and do a great job of keeping melted snow out as well.

I fluctuate between an 8 and 8.5 so I ordered the 8. They were very roomy so I reordered a 7.5 and hope that will be a perfect fit.

I'll start with FIT. I'm a 10 in most shoes, 10.5 in some shoes, and went with a 9.5 cuz most people said they run very large. DON'T listen to these people. The 9.5 was too snug, I sent back for a 10 and that fits perfect. This is a huge boot on the outside, but not so much on the inside. Remember there's a liner boot inside the outside boot plus most people will have a heavy sock on. How some people say 1-2 sizes smaller fits is beyond me. They must have their regular size wrong and are wearing a larger size shoe than they should. Unless you plan on wearing this boot without the liner or without socks I STRONGLY recommend you order your true size. But you could go a half size up or down (max) depending on your foot and how you'd like it to fit. For some reason the 9.5 slipped on and off easier than the larger 10, but the 10 still goes on easy and comes off okay. They are a big heavy boot, so if you want a boot to work in all day everyday or for extra long hikes I'd recommend one of Sorels lighter and smaller models. They're very comfortable and warm. Quality looks great (but like most things they don't make em like they used to) I can't comment on durability as I've only had them a month. Overall a very comfortable, warm, stylish boot and I'd recommend.

I oscillate between wearing a 7.5 and an 8, depending on the type of shoe, heel height, width, etc. I purchased an 8 so that thick wool socks could be accommodated on the super cold days. They fit sliiightly big, but it's totally fine. These boots are a really superior product. The footbed is sturdy, clearly well sealed, warm, and comfy. The traction is incredible and they're really only for those hardcore winter days. I wouldn't commute to work in these unless there was a lot of snow. The waterproof upper boot is stunning and super high quality too. I'm in love with these boots!

I walk my dog every morning and evening and in OKC we have all four seasons. November through March, it gets rainy, snowy and freezing temperatures. Since I purchased my Caribou Sorel Boots, the weather does not bother me. The boots keep my feet dry and warm. I'm so happy that I purchased these boots! and so is my Lab, Sampson
