I wanted to love this boot so much! It is perfect for rain and snow and so cute on, but I just couldn't make it work. I laced it up as tight as I could get it and my ankle was still swimming in it. They fit perfectly length wise, but I had absolutely no ankle support. I would walk around and my whole foot was lifting out of the insert. So sad!

I owned Sorels for years living in the mountains of Colorado and always considered these boot to be the Gold Standard for our family. No Longer. The company has gone down hill in a big way. At our suggestion, our daughter bought her first pair. Seams started leaking the first year. The second pair the rubber cracked, and all they could offer was a new pair at a reduced price. Years ago they stood by their product and replace what was defective. Shame on you Sorel, I will never buy another product from you.

These boots are HORRIBLE. The worst boots I have ever owned. I bought them for commuting in Chicago and should have listened to the reviews. I've had them for a year and the right boot is completely falling apart on the inside, ripping the back of my foot up. Cannot believe I spent that amount of money on boots that didn't last two seasons.

I bought and wore these boots on a recent trip to Europe. I could only wear them the first day flying over there because they hurt so badly in the back part of my ankle. I was so disappointed with these boots. I tried thicker socks and that just made them more difficult to get on. my husband had the same problem with his. very uncomfortable and actual painful by the end of the first day just traveling. we were very discouraged as these were to be our primary "weather resistant" boots. I am returning his as well and will copy and paste these comments.

Very difficult to get on and off - the materials are too stiff. Once one, the boot is way too tight around the entire foot, making it impossible to wear any socks. Disappointing.

Worst purchase I have made. These boots are so painful I will never be able to wear them again. I wore them once and it felt like I had left the cardboard insert in the left boot but that was not the case. The boot cut the skin so badly I had to walk on my tiptoes until I could take them off. Would not recommend to anyone.

I thought they were the ultimate boot to keep my feet warm, but after 3 hours at a football game in 30 degree weather, my feet were frozen. I was super disappointed because I love the look and fit!

I bought these boots last year and did not write a review then. I am currently shopping for a new pair of winter snow boots and felt the need to let others know my opinion. These are difficult to get on to start with. I am a size 7 so the size of my foot is no issue. Although they did keep my feet warm and dry, they were not at all comfortable. There is no arch support and I found the bottoms to be very hard. The worst thing about these boots is they are VERY heavy and do not flex easily! I wore these for the first time to go sled riding and was completely exhausted from trying to walk in them. It is a shame because I do like the overall style and appearance. Definitely not worth the money to be uncomfortable though!

This boot didn't work for me at all. I wear a 10.5 and based on reviews went with the 10. The size was OK but the 11 would have fit better. Sent is back not b/c of length but because they are the heaviest boots I ever put on. Also they were uncomfortable everywhere and ankle, calf, shin. Just didn't work at all.

Like a few other reviewers, I couldn't get these boots past my ankle. I ordered an 8 (I normally wear anything from a 7 to an 8, depending on the shoe) and don't have a large foot or a large calf by any means... but there was no way this shoe was going on. What a disappointment; I'd been coveting these boots for months and was so excited when they went on sale!

I need waterproof boots to work outdoors in the snow at ski resorts. Despite Sorel's claims of Joan of Arctic boots being waterproof my boots leak every time I walk in the snow. If I'm out walking around or working for more than an hour, my feet freeze, even with foot warmers. Mind you I am out working five to eight hours. Now I need to buy a different pair of boots, one that is actually waterproof. The boots are cute and comfortable- if the lining is in correctly, but I am very unhappy freezing my toes off!

The inner lining and the outer shell sizes did not correspond on the boots I received. The proper larger sized inner lining was inserted into the outer shell that was three sizes smaller. Needless to say the boots didn't fit.
