Love these boots, they are great for the snow. Keeps your feet warm, and dry. Little trouble getting them into snow shoes.

I first ordered down a size based on the other reviews, and ordered a size 7; way too small. Returned for an 8, which is on the roomy side. Cute boots.

Buy these boots! I've been a Sorel fan for years. My dad always wore Sorels. They hit it out of the ballpark with these boots. I have my old snow lions that have been my go to boots for years. These are so much more stylish, yet exceptionally warm. Very comfortable. It was 20 below where I live last night and I was out with these boots on first thing this morning. They are wonderful and I can't stress enough, they are so cute! Perfect gift! Buy these boots!

These boots are so adorable! Who would ever think that real winter boots could so be so cute. They remind me of something Dr. Seuss would have created. I'll be wearing mine (in Sierra Tan) with winter leggings and a short skirt this winter. I'll be warm and still feel a bit girlish. I ordered my normal size and a full size down. Granted, the normal size is roomy (for extra thick socks), but the next size down was positively way too small.

Let me just say, I don't know how Zappos does it! I ordered these boots at 8 pm on a Wednesday and received them by 2 pm the next day! Less than 24 hours after I ordered them, they were on my feet. Needless to say, I love them. And yes, I ordered a size down like everyone recommended (I wear an 8.5, ordered an 8; fits like a glove). Now if Zappos could just bring some snow to Salt Lake City.

If you are looking for a boot to not only be totally waterproof but keep your feet warm this winter, look no further! Sorel's Joan Of Arctic is THE CUTEST boot you will ever own. The 1st time I had them on I took my normal dog walk with my 2 Great Danes and I never had to break them in, they were as comfortable as slippers! They are so cute, so warm, so waterproof. You will not be sorry you bought these adorable boots!

These are the most comfortable boots I\'ve ever bought. At first I was going to buy a new pair of UGGS and while searching came across these boots. I read the reviews (at another website) and I have to agree; they\'re stylish and comfortable. I do recommend buying one size down. At first I ordered a nine and had to send them back for a eight. \r\n\r\nMoreover, I like ordering shoes from Zappos because of the free overnight delivery, good customer service representatives. When exchanging my boots the representative was extremely helpful and sent me my new boot by the next day. Prices are comparable to every site that I searched before deciding on ordering from Zappos.

Awesome! Just like the old style Sorels that I grew up in, except these have a bit of style and "flair" to them. Super comfy, super cool, and keep your feet warm and dry. Love these boots!

I haven\'t had a chance to wear these boots out, yet, as we haven\'t had snow, but, I can tell you that they are adorable! They\'re as cute as they look on the photo! Also, I think they run a bit big for size. I normally wear a 7, sometimes 6 1/2. I ordered a 7 initially, anticipating wearing thick socks underneath. They were huge, and I had to exchange for a 6. They fit perfectly now! So, if you are a 1/2 size, definitely order down, and you may want to even if you\'r not a 1/2 size!

I wanted some winter boots that were cute as well as warm. The Ugg type boots are cute, but not waterproof enough and don't have any traction when you're out on snow. These do run large; I'm normally a 7.5/8 and I was swimming in the 8. The 7 fit perfectly. They are way cozy and look great.

I ordered these boots Sunday night and they got here Tuesday afternoon! I am so excited! I was going to order a size 7 just to be on the safe side because I have huge calves! I usually wear a 6.5 or a 7, but my boyfriend convinced my to order a 6. I could almost go for a 5, my heels slip out a little and I can put them on and off without tying them (without socks). But a 5 would be too narrow. All in all I love them so much!

Wish they were available in my true size but took a half size bigger, because they were sold out in the size I needed. Very happy I went with these boots anyway. Initially, I was not in love with the styling of the fur but it grew on me and I love them..Kept my feet perfectly dry and comfortable throughout our New England weather in heavy, heavy wet snow! Awesome boots by Sorel!

Oh my god I love these. What is important about this is that I have been looking for snow boots for years. They are always so bulky and after trying to find something warm, completely waterproof, stylish and tall I failed. So finally I thought that I would try Sorels. What an amazing surprise. They are so comfortable and warm. I always add my own insoles into my shoes but the insoles that they come with seem comfortable. The thing that I cannot get over is how comfortable they are to stand in. I felt very stable. I wear an 8½ but ordered an 8 and am happy with that. I have thin feet and ankles so oftentimes I slosh around in boots. These are wide enough to slide my feet in easily but the way they tighten I can get them where they are not too bulky and loose at the top of my ankle. The color is a beautiful sage green. I have gotten great compliments on them too. I am giving them four stars because I do wish they were a little less bulky around the front toe (rubber area), but it may be impossible if they need to be waterproof.

SO bummed. I've coveted the Joan of Arctic boots for years; basically, since they first came out. I kept putting them off because I was a poor college student, and then a poor recent college grad, but my old Sorels finally gave out last year, so I caved. I was SO excited to get them!! ...only to find out they were a half size too small :( I'm a true 8.5, which is what I got, and my toes were touching the front without socks on. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to send them back and even more unfortunately, the option for black isn't there anymore. Fingers crossed they get some more in!...at least now I know! *sigh*!

I really adore these boots. They are warm, comfortable, true to size, and super cute. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the fur liner comes out EVERY TIME I take the boots off and it is driving me insane. If that didn't happen, these would 5 stars. I still recommend these boots.

I first bought these in a size 8.5. I thought they felt a little large so I purchased a size 8 to compare. The 8 was a little to small so I'm returning and keeping the 8.5. I wore these boots around Breckenridge and they did great in the cold/snow. However, they are a bit clunky and slightly heavy. For cold winters, I think they would work well.

So, I may be unwisely keeping these but I want to give them a chance. They seem about a half size small. I am a 10½ and the 11 fits well in length with a pair of SmartWool socks. They are wide but not uncomfortably so. The boot and shaft are very warm and the footbed is very cushioned, which is why I want to keep them. The suede on the shaft is very stiff and rubbing considerably on my Achilles' tendons where the suede folds while I walk. I have had a similar issue with leather boots (it may be the way I walk?) that resolves as the leather loosens up, so I am hoping that is the case with these. Also the shoe part of it is kind of ridiculously wide looking, but this is a no-joke snow boot. I am happy with how cute they are while keeping my feet dry and toasty on my ¾ mile walk to and from the train in the snowy/slushy/sub zero Chicago winter. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the suede softens up, otherwise these would be a home run out of the box.
