Keens are the only shoe brand that fits the shape of my foot. I've bought Keens exclusively since I discovered them 3 years ago. The Keen Briggs II is extremely comfortable however doesn't breathe like the other similar Keen sneakers I've worn, so my feet start to stink within a couple hours of wearing them. This is very unfortunate. I will still continuing buying only Keen shoes, but I'm going to try something other than the Briggs II next time.

Really miss the Briggs I, The Briggs II is a drop in quality, fit and finish! I love Keen shoes, they totally went the wrong way with this re-design.

I had high hopes for these, but noticed both persistent squeaking noises on walking and a pinching above the heel which quickly became painful. They were so uncomfortable that I had to return them.

These are great looking shoe, but they are not up for everyday use. I own the laces which look similar to this and it lasted two years and is still running. The only reason I replaced them is because the insole was finally starting to deteriorate. I bought these, (not from Zappos) and have had them for maybe four months. I have had the seem at the top of the ankle repaired from splitting two weeks in while putting them on, and now the seems up where the show bends at the ball are completely unravelled. I hope the Oxford which is identical to my old laces are as good as the old ones. I think the problem with these is the stiff leather. It is not forgiving enough for lots of use. I will still buy Keens, I will just pay attention to the material more.

Love and hate these shoes. Most comfortable and have no problem going anywhere or standing for hours. Wider than most inside and incredibly stable under foot. One huge problem. Soles are worthless - things wear out underneath in about 3-4 months on carpet only. So I bought another pair. I wore them out in 1 week taking them walking 2 miles a day to test my thinking. When you're paying this much you're buying junk to have them so worthless underneath - that's why they're so comfy I guess - soft bottoms. Took them back and the store said Keen wouldn't replace it yet they looked mint condition. The store also said they've had this problem a lot with Keen and had communicated with them about it. Modern Shoe Repair is the store.

I have orthotics and trouble with the joint where the big toe meets the foot. This shoe is my favorite Keen. It's heavy and clunky, but it is very comfortable, fits my orthotic, and is fairly stiff in the mid-foot - exactly what I need. Fabulous support. I just walked around England and Scotland with them, and I felt great. I plan on buying another pair, which would be my third!

I've been a huge Keen fan and have only bought Keens for years now. They make a naturally wide shoe which I need. Problem is they have gone downhill in quality. Whatever material they used to use to make their soles is not the same any more. I still have the very first pair of Keens with the original sole and can still wear them. I have 4 pairs of Briggs and the soles will not last a year and I work indoor on carpet and smooth tile floors. I'll still buy Keen in hopes they up their quality again.

Ordered this shoe early one Saturday morning and was thinking that I might receive them by Thursday or Friday of the following week. When I got home from work Monday (3 days) there they were. Excellent service Zappos! With regard to the shoe, I love them! I am a 57 year old, 230 pound aircraft mechanic with fairly bad knees and work on concrete all day. I have tried Merrels and Ahnu's. These shoes are very comfortable and provide good support, the best I've found so far. Con- they are rather warm, so if cool feet are a must I wouldn't recommend.

I ordered these shoes for work since my podiatrist recommended them. My feet love them. The support is great and they are very well made. The style is not really important to me. I would recommend them.

It\'s not often that I buy two pair of the same shoes, but I\'m making an exception with the Keen Briggs II. Keens are usually a problem for me because they slip off my heel, but the construction of the heel of this shoe prevents that problem. Normally I wear a 10.5 E, but these fit me perfectly in the 11 D; they do seem to run a little short.

This is what I have come to expect from Keen footwear: comfort and style. The Briggs II does not disappoint. A nice change of casual pace from sneakers as they are more comfortable. They are very well built with durability in mind. I wear a lot of jeans with sport coats and these shoes work very well. This is a very nice shoe.

Very comfortable. Without a doubt the most butt-ugly shoes I have ever willingly worn. They are ideal for my work which involves laboratory and warehouse work on frequently slippery floors.

My husband wears a 14 in dress shoes. He has nerve issues and wanted a shoe that will allow room for toes to move and not be cramped. This shoe does it. Very comfortable. He likes the comfort.

The stitch immediately below the bottom lace restricts movement at a critical point, the base of the toes, and causes discomfort. I have an earlier version in which the lacing went farther down toward the toe and find it much more comfortable.

This is the fifth or sixth pair of Keens that I have bought over the past 4 years or so. Great fit, great style and comfort, but the overall durability could be better. Soles tend to wear out quickly, and I have had some material problems on the inside of one pair.

Excellent Shoes, with good fit and comfort and comfort for wide feet. The one down side is the soles wear out before the uppers do, due to the soft sole rubbler. I am on my third pair, so the comfort overides durability

I have had these shoes for a year. This was my first pair of Keen Shoes and they are very comfortable right out of the box and after a year they are the first shoe I select when I am looking for a comfortable casual shoe. My only complaint is that the souls of the shoe have developed holes in some of the softer center tread and will allow water to migrate from the bottom.

After a brief wear in period, these shoes fit like a well worn leather glove! They are impervious to the wet and sure-footed on light to moderate trails. Best of all, I can wear them straight from the trail to my favorite watering hole!

I really like Keen's product: the look, style and fit. They seem to run true to size. This shoe is very comfortable, except the back rises too high, pinches and irritates the ankle.

Excellent shoes, form fit and function with style. The only problem I have had is the sole is made from rubber that is very soft and it tends to wear out before the rest of the shoe is worn out. This is my 2nd pair of Keen Briggs.

These run a little stiffer and smaller than the Briggs I in their design. The additional weight is initially noticed, but soon becomes a benefit. The Briggs I had an eyelet rivet blow out early on, but otherwise a good wearing shoe. The Briggs II is more satisfying so far. Comfortable and easy to wear. Walking in the city it gives good support.

I bought a pair of the Briggs II around the middle of November, and have been mostly happy with them. As far as comfort goes, these have been great. I love the Keen. Cush footbed, it is quite nice for 8+ hours on my feet at work on a hard concrete floor. There was no break-in period, these felt great straight from the box. These replaced my original Briggs, which, with over 9 months of near-daily wear, were wearing through on the soles. Now, after not even 3 months of near-daily wear, the Briggs II is showing excessive wear on the soles in some areas. I fully expect them to break through within another month. So, as for comfort, these get very high marks...durability, not so much. If you aren't as hard on yours as I am on mine, they might last longer for you though.

You know, there used to be a time when Keens were a great, comfy, durable shoe. Those times seem to have disappeared in recent years. Maybe it's since they started to be heavily produced at their Portland factory and since the founder sold his stakes in the company. The quality just seems to have plummeted. Keens are my everyday shoe. In the old days, a pair would last for years. My most recent pair (Brigs II) were uncomfortable, gave me a blister, and took awhile to break in. They lasted 9 months before the stitching went out (the stitching is pretty thin and weak compared to the old days). My pair before these lasted 8 months before the sole started to squeak. Anyway, I am disappointed and will have to look for a more durable brand of everyday shoe from now on. Keen, you used to be so good.....

I have several pairs of Keen shoes. I really like the style, but this is the least comfortable of all I own. This won't deter me from buying Keen in the future.
