I bought these shoes as a Christmas Gift. The service was excellent! Zappos upgraded the shipping method and everything was as promised! My son loves these Keens and I love Zappos.

These shoes are very comfortable and very good quality. My husband works at a hospital and does a lot of walking and uses them every day.

These shoes are very comfortable. I bought them, wore them twice to work to "break them in", and then took them to Europe for two weeks. Completely fine/comfortable. The only comment I have is that the toe of the shoe curls up somewhat because of the large bumper; therefore, despite the with in the toebox, I had to re-order 1/2 a size larger than normal. I usually take a 10 (US size) and I had to bump up to a 10.5. That said, once I got past the shock of them being the "wrong" size, I was/am completely comfortable. Kids/wife make a bit of fun of the "clown shoe" effect (because of width and bumper), but I don't find the aesthetics a problem. I wear them with khakis and other similar pants; they are not a dress shoe. If this is the kind of shoe you are looking for, I highly recommend them.

The Keen Persidio shoes are great. I have generally bad feet, yet I put them on and wore them all day. I like the look of them as they are sporty without being an athletic shoe. They were recommended to me by my 90 year old mother who has worse feet then I do, and is still going strong. Zappos service is great, too.

These are the perfect winter shoes as they are waterproof yet are light so you are not exhausted after wearing them all day. They also have excellent traction in wet and snow conditions. This sounds like a snow tire review! They do take a little getting used to on dry pavement as you can trip if you are moving quickly due to the traction. I wore them in Vermont with snow there in November and they were great.

This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I was impressed by customer service also. The previous shoe that I purchased, another Keen shoe, started to come unglued around the edges.I had worn them a few times before this started to happen. But when I called customer service they sent me out another pair, different style, before I even sent back the defective shoes. Buying shoes online is risky but Zappos makes a makes it a lot less risky.

Bought these for my son who delivers mail for the US Post Office in rain, sleet, snow or sunshine. They keep his feet dry and warm; are durable and comfortable. He LOVES them!

I'm a big fan of Keen shoes, having previously purchased two pairs of the original Briggs, originally the Bronx, in recent years. When the time came to get a new pair, I saw these and decided to take a chance.I was a bit worried I wouldn't like the newer look of the new model (I had them all in black), as I was a big fan of the white stitching on the original Briggs. However, the new pair looks very sleek with the black stitching, and is sewn together in a way that makes it look like they will last longer (my last pair of Briggs waqs beginning to come apart at the seams on the front-sides, while the new model is stitched in what looks like a much stronger way). Right out of the box, these shoes seemed a bit less comfortable than my original Briggs did. I believe it has something to do with the leather they used, so the shoes will probably be a bit stiff at first. This stiffness gives way pretty quickly (in personal experience), and now my shoes are even more comfortable than the original. It says in the description that there is some memory foam in the footpad, and while you won't constantly feel like you're walking on someone's mattress, I think it has definitely helped in more long term walks I've had to do.Is there anything particularly wrong with these shoes? Well, again in personal experience, the heel on my right shoe sqeaks a bit when I step. Which is a bit weird. It isn't particularly loud, but loud enough to irk me a bit. I have a feeling I ride a bit heavy on my heels, as my last two pairs of keens always end up with a more run-down heel, but I'd like to give the company the benefit of the doubt and assume it's the way I walk, or something. It's still food for thought. In the end, it'll be a few more months before I can definitively weigh in on the Briggs II. What I can say for sure is that they are at least equal to the original Briggs, and as I continue to break them in I have a feeling they're going to surpass the original in terms of comfort, which is really saying something. Your mileage may vary, but I am pleased with my purchase. I hope you will be, too. As a side note, the star rating doesn't properly show my exact feelings on these shoes, I'd probably give overall and comfort 4.5 stars, but I wouldn't go so far as to drop them down to 4. Especially in terms of comfort, these shoes still have potential to go up as they break in more. Just keep it in mind.

These are great. Fit great from the first wear. Very comfortable with good arch support. The leather interior is very soft. The toe box is generous. Great with jeans or with shorts. Would definitely buy again.

I just received my slate gray Keen Briggs IIs and I am very pleased. They are true to fit for me and look terrific. I know people are going to comment when I wear them. One thing: The colors of the actual shoes are a little more muted than you see in the Zappo\'s photos, the contrast between the brown and gray isn\'t as pronounced as you see in the picture. But it is no problem for me. This shoes will take very little breaking in and are comfortable right out of the box. I love the big oversized toe box and the sole coming right up over the top of the front. It will keep the leather from getting wet when I walk my dog in wet grass. I wouldn\'t even think of sending these back. They are perfect for me.

his could possibly be the best shoe right out of the box that I have ever bought,e ven without trying them on first. Open the the box and the first thing you smell is the leather, then the shoe slips on effortlessly as if you have owned them for years. This is a very comfortable shoe with little or no break in period needed. I am on my feet all day working as an overnight express courier, and the Keen Briggs II performed exceptionally. It is perfect for work or a night out on the town. True to fit comfort and style.

These shoes are great. I love Keen shoes and wear them daily. This pair fit well right out of the box. True to size and width. Slightly stiff at the collar, but that went away after 2 wearings.

Bought these on the rave reviews seen elsewhere and at this site. I like these shoes. They took some time to break in for me and are a bit heavy. On the plus they are reasonably comfortable. My feet are very difficult to fit. Would have liked a wider size.

Not a bad shoe. VERY true to size. I ordered a 10 and should have ordered a 9.5. The build quality is decent, but several inconsistencies. The tongue length is short and the toe cut is different on both shoes. BUT, they are very comfortable for people like me with wide toes and narrow heels.

I bought these for work, and wore them for 12 hours today. Super comfy, as I expected. A nice thing is that the insoles are removable, so can wear my orthotics with them quite comfortably. After trying several sizes of woman's size 12, I finally resorted to buying mans shoes so that I could have comfort and room for the orthotics. I totally don't regret it, (while I wouldn't wear these on the weekend, they are perfectly fine for work) and these were worth every penny.

My first 2 pairs of Briggs were the original design, super comfortable and very little break-in needed. But a design flaw seemed to make them prone to splitting at the stitches. The Briggs II certainly seems more durable and, consequently, harder to break in. But now that they've softened up a bit (about 1 month of frequent wear), I am finding the comfort to be at least 75% of the originals, which is not bad. Hopefully they will eventually match the comfort of the original!

I'm a bit disappointed with my Keen Briggs II shoes. This is my third or fourth pair of Keens and it lasted the shortest duration. After 8 months, one of my heels split and water now gets in. My shoe permanently squeaks now and I can't be having that… Sad face.

All in all I'm pretty pleased with these shoes. They are stylish, reasonably water-resistant, and pretty comfortable on the whole. My one complaint is that there is a horizontal seam at the back where two pieces of leather meet. There is a little bit of material hanging off above the stitch line that rubs against my heel. It can be quite unpleasant on long walks, but it's not so bad as to give me blisters. I don't think it's a craftsmanship problem, just a poor design. I'm not quite sure what they were thinking. I'm going to try gluing the flap against the back of the shoe; hopefully it will help. Regarding Zappos and my purchasing experience I have nothing but praise.

Summary: I'm very happy with my Keen Briggs II. The footbed is nice, and the workmanship seems good. I'd buy these shoes again. Detail: I've never bought shoes online before, and was nervous about the process. I had tried on this shoe in an 11 (at a store), but it was too small. The store didn't have 11.5, so I decided to risk it. The lady on the phone was helpful and reassuring about my ability to return them. These fit nicely! I have very wide feet, and a high arch. I had read online that Keens have a large toe-box, and they do. This is really the first shoe that fits well in years. I usually have to buy 13 Wide (!) in order to get a shoe that fits the width of my 11.5 long foot. The only things I did not like about the shoe were a slight olive color in the brown (personal preference, fixed with water proofing sealant), and the fact that the tongue is sewn to the shoe very "low", below the last eyelet. This can let water into your socks easily if you get snow or rain on the laces. But both of these are pretty minor.

These are the shoes I've been waiting for. I wasn't too pleased with my Keen Bandons, but the Briggs II is outstanding. Just like my old Bronx. Feels good. Solid traction. Great support. Easy to wear anyplace, walking or driving. All day comfort right out of the box. The only small problem is that the tongue on the left shoe seems to have been installed slightly off center, a little annoying at times. These are my new "go to" shoes.

Unlike my other 10 pairs of Keens which felt broken in the moment I put them on, these shoes feel awkward and clunky. The laces start very high up compared to my other Keens, and unless I skip the last set of holes and do not lace them all the way up, they constrict my ankle in a funny way. They also feel very tall and "frankensteiny" compared to my other wonderful Keens. What happened, Keen?

These shoes are sturdy and adequately attractive, but painful to wear because of how the leather folds in on the top of my toes. I'm trying to break them in adequately but don't buy anymore Keens made with this material (having had a similar problem with their boots).
