Very similar to my Keen Bandon Lace WP's. I put these on this morning and there's no break-in time needed. These have been comfy from the get go and I know will get better with time. Super sturdy, great leather, soles and ergonomic insert with ample arch support. I would love to get my hands on another pair of the Brandon Lace WPs. Keen is awesome!

I have a large foot (15) and these are great shoes. Comfortable from the first time I put them on. I will definitely buy another pair of Keen shoes.

I have been wearing the same style show for 4 years now. This is my 3rd iteration. If you have never worn Keens, make sure you order your true size, not the 1/2 or full size up to accommodate store bought shoes. They will feel tight because they are true to size, unlike many store bought shoes. They are comfortable and light. They have good support without being cushy. I run in these shoes with no foot discomfort. Highly recommended.

I looked for this exact shoe is several retail stores, but they didn't have my size in stock, or didn't care this style. By ordering through Zappos, I received exactly what I wanted in a few days.

Follow up to my previous review (December 2011)... 1 month of wear (break in required), comfort was near the original Briggs design. After another month or so, I feel these are their equal in terms of overall comfort. Also, they are without a doubt higher quality than the original design (which was prone to failure in the stitching. I went through 2 pairs). 2 complaints: the new design is less breathable, so can get a little hot in summer, but still tolerable (and desirable in winter), the treads wear relatively quickly (but I've seen worse). Wear them to work frequently, hiking occasionally.

Great shoe. One of the good ones. Too bad Keen is no longer offering a wide variety of wide toe box shoes anymore. This my second pair of Briggs. In my humble opinion, I believe the first pair was more comfortable right from the get go, though.

My husband loves these shoes. He is on his feet a work all day in the elements and he just absolutely lives them.

I wear a 4X in New Balance and these fit real good. Added inserts to make my old dogs stop barkin'. After 3 foot operations, I've finally found a shoe/boot I can wear all day.

Broke both of my heel bones in a ski jump landing. The shape and cushion of these Keen shoes provide the support I need.

I have been wearing these shoes daily for a week. I bought them for work and spend most of my time walking or standing outside. The toe box is extremely comfortable and the overall foot support is good for me. The sole works well on paving and grass and I am very satisfied with the overall product. Like other reviewers I would have preferred a longer tongue but it does not seem to want to slip down in to the shoe. Best shoe I have had for many years.

This is my second pair of these shoes and they are great. I wore the first pair out, but it took some time. They are well worth the money as they are well made and oh so comfy. The traction and the support they give is better than any shoe as good looking as this that I have seen. I like them so much I got a second pair in another color!

I own two pairs of Keen hiking boots, a pair of sandals, and now these Briggs II. My experience is that all Keen shoes are good. Very durable, and comfortable. You can't go wrong with any style you choose.

Briggs II are heavy duty walking shoes. I am 66 years old and have arthritic big toes. The large toe box makes for wiggle room. They are true to size for my 9.5 feet and are comfortable on my high arch. I have worn them out of the box since day one. Got them for our trip to Beijing. A Keen representative recommended this model for lots of walking on hard surfaces. Not a summer shoe but will be fine rest of the year.

Best pair of outdoor/work shoes I have ever owned. A little stiff until broken in, but then very comfortable. The extra-wide toe box & durable construction makes this shoe!

Nice and comfortable shoe for someone on their feet all day. I am on concrete floors for at least 10 hours a day and these shoes do not require and extra cushion. Plenty of room up front for your toes almost like being barefoot.

Just a great shoe. I have so far purchased about (8) pair of Keen shoes. All of them, and especially the Briggs II, offer the comfort and support that are necessary for day-long treks in a hard-surfaced urban environment or up and down rugged trails. Truth is I think these shoes look and work well for all pursuits. I'm forever dusting them off, polishing them up, and "dressing" them up with jeans and a dress shirt. To me, comfort is inseparable from style.

The Keen line has been part of my recovery from plantar fasciitis. There was a time, several years ago, when I couldn't walk the 10 or 11 blocks from the pool to my house after going for a swim. And I couldn't stand for more than a few minutes at a time. Starting, I think, with a Merrill product, and now continuing with the Briggs model from Keen, I have been able to make a recovery. In fact, two weeks ago, I shocked myself by going on a long, vigorous walk. When I got home, I did the calculations: I had been striding with power for 100 minutes nonstop! Keen is not the only thing going for me: I also use microstimulation (an old-fashioned boot-cleaning bristle-brush device). Cold water and a cold end to every shower is also essential, as is professional massage therapy and stretching on my own. Also, don't forget to get progressively bigger shoes as you age: a half-size bigger every five or 10 years (I am 55). But my Keens are definitely part of the mix, and I recommend them for anyone with plantar fasciitis.

Received these Keen Briggs II shoes from Zappos quickly and the ordering process was easy. The shoes are very comfortable with a style well suited to the culture and environment of the Pacific Northwest. I owned and wore out a previous model of the shoe (Briggs I?). Those shoes were a little bit clunkier and may have had a slightly wider toe box. They fit my wide, flat feet perfectly. This new model fits well but I like the old ones better. I have difficult feet to fit because my left foot is a full size bigger than the right. I buy for the bigger foot. The Keens are the only shoes that I have found acceptable and the only shoes I wear.

I bought a pair of Keen's Briggs II based on my experience with the Keen Austin model. This pair of Briggs II was a replacement for a worn-out pair of Keen Austin shoes that I wore nearly every day for 10 months. They were my favorite pair of casual shoes that I wore for everywhere from work to church. I like the Briggs II's styling more due to the subtle black stitching. My experience wearing Keen's Briggs II is like driving my favorite sports car: the fit is supportive and I can drive everywhere comfortably and look good doing it.

These, and my other Keens, continue to deliver the stability I need in an active shoe since I twist/roll my ankles easily. These are stiffer than my last pair. I have had them about 2 months and they are not showing excessive tread wear, nor are the seams coming apart as others had noted in their reviews. I don’t know why they call this color slate gray, it is (obviously) tan. I have been satisfied thus far.

Great shoes. The Briggs 11 has a wide toe so they are just what I need for my feet problems. I only buy Keen and I would order these shoes again. I am a woman, but I buy men’s shoes because they fit so much better and this style works great with my jeans.

Since these shoes have arrived, they have been on my feet. I eat, sleep, and shower with them on. Well maybe not the latter two, but I absolutely love them. The tread is more of a hiking boot tread found on this stylish shoe, making it kind of a walking/trail hiking hybrid which I find nice. Also the soles appear to be thicker than that of the Austin, which I had owned for only 1 year before they had holes which squeaked every time I walked. They are comfortable. Even with the insole that they provide. I usually replace those but so far I've kept mine. The color "grey" is nothing such. It is moss green. Just like the picture. Maybe they should have called it moss-covered stone grey. Sizing. I love that these are amongst the Keen shoes that have a naturally wide toe. Normally I have to look for wider shoes and also find that a wide is too loose. These fit perfect. Onto Zappos. Their price was excellent and competitive. There was no shipping fee - even better. It arrived a day earlier than expected, thanks to expedited shipping (rather than sitting on the order for a few days). So I give Zappos two thumbs up. I would definitely recommend to a friend and would buy from them again myself.
