Comfortable and sizing is accurate. I had a problem with the back portion of the sole separating from the shoe after a week’s wear. Very pleased with how Zappos handled the problem.

I have the version with dark blue trim. I also previously owned the predecessor version, model 609 (which lasted 8 years without any problem/failure). The NB 608 is cheaply made of lower quality leather uppers. Mine failed within a couple of months - the laces pulled through the eyelet hole and tore the leather; it looks like that will happen again on other eyelet holes. Cheaply made; not up to earlier NB standards.

Owned New Balance before, this version okay, but not great. No arch support, feels almost like a bowling shoe to stand in. For a cross trainer, it should be more supportive. May be great with a orthotic, but if I wanted to spend that much I would have purchased a better shoe and not New Balance that has better arch support.

This shoe is true to its description. Although very comfortable, the special outer sole sounds squishy when I walk on rubber and tile floors, and the softness of the sole crushes quickly and has no roll bar. The price is quite a bit less than my last pair of MW 927's but is already showing wear with my custom orthotic inserts being too wide for even a 4E size. Next time I will be getting a stiffer sole and wider.

Great-looking shoe, and I've always loved NB, but something with their sizing and manufacturing has changed. I ordered size 8 (4E), same as I always do, and for the first time ever they did not fit. Usually when I put on size 8 (4E) NB sneakers, they are comfortable right out of the box. However, these shoes were too narrow, painfully tight. Also immediately striking was the total lack of arch support. I have high arches and although I own custom orthotics I have never had to use them with my NB sneakers. Unfortunately, when I put these shoes on, it felt like my arches were floating in air, no support at all. I then put them side-by-side with my older NB, and sure enough -- they are significantly narrower. Thank goodness for Zappos' hassle-free return policy. Guess I'll have to look for another brand to fit my super wide high-arched feet. These shoes are nice-looking, and appear well-made. If you have narrow or medium-wide feet and low arches, then these may be the shoes for you. But if you have feet like mine, keep looking.

With the change from the MX608 to the MX608V2, they pointed the toe shape, like a wingtip, and ended up narrowing the toe box. Since the waist and heel cup are the same size as before, the proportions are off and I found them unwearable. If the old 608\'s felt good, I\'d recommend a different model or even a brand.

Started to fall apart after very light use. Within a couple months the leather has split in two areas, not at the seams. I've never seen this in a shoe before.

These new balance shoes after two months, the sole of the shoe started coming off, the shoe laces where way too long. I was tripping over them. Had to cut them about half size. Will have get new tennis shoes next month. These mx608 (last pair) lasted a year. Quality has really dropped!

I have only purchased New Balance shoes for the last 15 years. I just sent my pair of 608V2's back to Zappos as the bottom sole on the right show detached after only 3 months of light use. I see the same issue from others who have bought this product so clearly something is wrong with the making of this shoe. Come on New Balance, bring back the quality we expect! Thank goodness for Zappos fantastic customer service! Hopefully I can find another New Balance product I can have faith in.

I was trying to replace MX608. The MX608v2 didn't make it. They couse neel pain. The New Balance store wants to sell me inserts to fix the problem with the shoes. The MX608 worked fine for the last year. I bought two pair of MX608V2. I probably will have to return them.

I purchased the shoe for my husband, they fit very well and are very comfortable. I purchased the shoe in January and it ripped on the front stitch of the shoe in early March.

I bought these for my dad who has very wide feet. Nice looking shoe but he said the fit was tight and that the shoe made his feet feel very hot. I ended up returning it

The fit and non-slip work well, but one sole became unglued after about 3 months and the upper tore or the stitching came loose after 3 months on the replacement pair. I am looking for an alternative slip resistant shoe.

This is the 4th pair of NB 608 v2 that I've had. They are great. I'm 6'2' 346lbs and they last about a year for me. I'm going to try the 928's. Cost is greater but rewiews are superb.

These sneakers are really comfortable and an all around good shoe. I bought them for my son and he wears them to school every day. He is a 14xwide and has trouble finding comfortable sneakers. He has tried many pairs and keeps coming back to New Balance. I would recommend this shoe for walking, everyday wearing, or sports.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I walk 2 miles in them every morning and wear them all day on Saturday. After 2-3 months, they still look like new.

I have bought these several times for my husband. They are without a doubt his favorite athletic shoes. I will always buy them from Zappos. I always get my orders the next day and they have the best customer service of any company I know.

Very comfortable shoe. Its my new favorite and the extra wide size is hard to find and Zappos knocks it out of the park in selection.
