Uncomfortable sandals. I thought they would soften up with wear, but they didn't. Top leather is hard, not flexible and chafes. Foot bed is narrow and my little toes fall off the side. Not supportive like my other old pairs of Merrell sandals. Hated wearing them so they went in the trash.

WHAT happened to mine? I received these sandals today and I was so excited to see them and try them on. First, out of the box, I noticed that this pair looked awfully small and narrow. I ordered my regular size 9M, which is what I wear in all my shoes, with the exception of boots which I size up to 9 1/2 because I have a high instep. I tried these on and could barely get my foot into them. These run very narrow for a medium width. Also shorter than all my other size 9's. I'm wondering if these are mis-marked. I bought these after reading the reviews and most people loved them...I thought I would too. They are cute and look to be constructed well, but they are not for me. It seems that the toe area comes to more of a point than most sandals of this type, and also tips up at the front of the shoe. I won't try to size up, as these only come in full sizes, and a 10 will just be too big. Sigh.... Back to the drawing board, as they say.

I really love these shoes. However the toe ring in the middle is like a knife digging into my skin. On the upside, I love my other merrrell sandals I ordered and you cannot beat Zappos' service!

This is my second purchase of this same shoe. I loved my first pair. This second pair does not compare to workmanship of previous ones. They do not have good support. The quality of the sole feels like a cheap dollar pair of flops.
