Nice sandal! Great, comfortable foot bed. Unfortunately, the 'tip of the top' just above the thong rubs. With the way I walk, that could be a blister disaster in no time. Sadly, shoes are headed back to Zapposville.

Very comfortable right out of the box. I wish the foot bed in the toe area was a little wider for those of us with wide feet. Are also very stylish and I have had many compliments on them.

I really liked this flip flop, very comfortable foot bed, however I am returning them because there's a tiny piece of leather/fabric that hangs over your first and second toe--it seemed to wedge into my toes as I walked and was uncomfortable. :-(

I read another review that said these thongs was great on the reviewer's short, wide feet. I wear a 9½ in Merrell shoes. I ordered the 9, and they were plenty long beyond my toes, and fine in the heel, but my feet were too wide. I am a D width in New Balance running shoes. My big toe and the side of the ball of my foot stuck out over the edge of the sandal. Surprising, as usually it is the other side of my foot that cause a width issue. Nice thongs, but if you have long, wide feet, do not get your hopes too high.

I would have loved the shoe, but the leather on the top goes up and over some of the toes. I expected a feel like a flip flop, and I know I couldn't get used to the extra material on top of my foot.

For me, the Gardena Thong did not fit well. The thong was uncomfortable and the leather rubbed the top of my toes. It is a very stylish shoe and has good arch support. I replaced it with the Jasmine, which I love.

Very comfortable and looks good too! Got both black & brown. Walking in these for hours on vacation and still comfy.

I love these shoes! I almost sent them back & I'm so glad I didn't now. The placement of the thong was a little awkward feeling when I first slipped them on, but after wearing them for a day I didn't notice it any longer. They look great and you can walk in them all day and not feel fatigue.

I love the look of this sandal, but it wasn't as comfortable as I had hoped. I have some ABEO sandals that I can walk in all day, and I was hoping I could do the same in these, but after a short while my feet started hurting (I have plantar facitis). I like these and I will wear them, but I won't get the use out of them I had hoped. However, I want to give kuddos to Zappos and their great customer service. They can't be beat!!

These were very comfortable except the piece between the toes is rubber and is not round, so it was digging into my foot between my toes. If I could figure out how to fix that, I would have kept them in a heartbeat; cute and cushiony.

These are really nice looking sandals. However, I think because they are quite narrow, my big toe slips right off the shoe! There's a woman at work who loves these shoes, and she does have very narrow feet.

I bought this for my wife who usually wears size 8. We had to return this for a size nine because we felt it was too narrow. Her toes were hanging off a bit on the sandals. Otherwise the sandals look good and my wife says it's very comfortable.

Really cute sandal, nice support and the bottom is very comfy. My foot just doesn't fit the top well. Feels like I can't get my foot in enough to be comfy and the part near the toe seems too big. Probably just my foot shape because I can see how these would be great shoes if it fits right. True to size.

Very comfortable footing, but the toe post isn't soft enough for my big toe, so I am sending it back. If that doesn't bother you, these really are a great, comfy pair of sandals.

Shoes are very comfortable. Bought them to help my plantar fasciitis. Only thing I wish is that I chose a different color. The white gets dirty very fast.

Great looking sandals with good support. This is my second pair of Merrell Gardenas and they seem to be narrower than the first pair. The leather gives it a nicer look than many other sandals.

This is my third pair of Merrell sandals (all different colors). I had purchased the first 2 pairs last year at Macy's, but wasn't finding anything locally. They are fashionable, provide good support, and are very comfortable...except for the center piece. I just can't seem to wear the thong shoes. Several reviews prior to my purchase stated how the thong did not bother their toes. Unfortunately I wasn't as lucky! Super fast shipping from Zappos, as always! Luckily I could share with a family member so won't return this shoe...it really is very flattering to the foot!

Very comfortable from day one. If I have any complaint, it is that I often find Merrell\'s make my feet feel hot.

I have been the Gardena thong for two years and it is time for a replacement. While this pair is just as comfortable as my old ones it is definitely narrower. I\'ve noticed this with other Merrell sandals and wish they would go back to the original width.

This sandal had an issue with the part between the toe being sown at a funny angle so that your big toe is coming off edge of the shoe. Zappos was wonderful and replaced the shoes immediately. The replacement sandal is better but still directing the toe almost off the edge. We kept them anyway and they are quite comfy. I must say the service was amazing.

Cute shoe, too narrow. I have a pair of Merrel sandals and I love them, I have a wide foot, I ordered these and they are too tight, so if you have a wide foot, they may not fit. Love Zappos thou the best customer service in the business!

These do stretch a bit after wearing, and the upper can turn your foot black if it gets wet. That said they are incredibly comfortable and versatile. Love them!

I bought these because I love my old Gardenas... have a khaki colored pair and a very old navy pair. I like these, but the inside sole is a little harder on my foot than the soft bottom of the old model. Overall, they look the same, but I prefer the old style, softer insole. Maybe it’s just me and my "princess" feet!

I've worn more than 12 pairs of this same shoe in the same size and color for the past 10 years. (As well as the Merrell clog.) Merrell has changed something in the last of their shoes, and I cannot wear this shoe now. The 6 is too big, and they do not make half sizes in this style. The band across the foot is extremely tight now. The footbed seems narrow now too. Very disappointing because it's the best sandal I have ever worn until now. Great arch support and cushioned footbed, and it covers enough of the foot to avoid the barefoot look. The ratings I'm giving are based on the fit. I wear a B in width...not a wide foot at all. I've called Merrell, but to no avail.

The leather strap between the toes is VERY uncomfortable, it is stiff and rough on the edges. I can't imagine wearing these. I love Merrell's Q-form which is why I purchased these, but just couldn't tolerate that rough strap.
