For a birkenstock, I expected more. And I have yet to receive my refund!

TTS, very comfy

I'm usually a size 6.5-7 but I went with 36 which is supposed to be a 5.5 and they fit perfectly.

I always wear a 10 and even though the size calculator recommended a 40 (9-9.5) after ordering both, the size 41 (10) was the best fit. It took a day to get used to the fit but now I love the fit and support and I hate to take them off!

I did have to size down for these sandals but as always Zappos comes thru with their quick and easy exchanges. I love the look of these sandals. I have only had them a week so I'm still breaking them in to know how they'll be for extended walking periods. But they've felt great so far and the arch support is great. The straps do take a little bit of time to get used to, but I've done as others suggested with loosening the straps and am confident they will become softer with wear.

Fit was perfect! Within a few hours they felt totally comfortable like old comfy shoes!

I LOVE birks and these are no different. I normally wear a 42 and that’s fit just like my others so I’m unsure why the reviews say to size up. Super cute style and would highly recommend!

I read the reviews and opted to buy my normal 38 in Birkenstocks...they came within 24 hours-Thanks Zappos! BUT they are definitely an entire size too large. I had about an inch in the heel. Knowing Birks stretch, I called Zappos and they sent me a 37 which I received in less than 24 hours...again...awesome! Long story short, Zappos rocks and this particular style of Birkenstock runs large, super stylish and of course comfortable!

I loved the style of these shoes but they were far too big. I typically wear a 6 but based on reviews that they ran large, I sized down to a 5. The size 5 were too big and this style isn’t available in a 4. I liked that all the straps were adjustable and the regular width was perfect for my wider feet. I wish the ankle strap was a little thinner like on the Daloa style - on small feet, it was a bit clunky. If they had my size, I would have kept them.

I really, really loved these. (I ordered these and the Daloa) while I was leaning more towards these because I just love the style i went with the others for the following reasons: the tobacco color I got seams as though it would scratch easily, these needed a little more of a break in than the Daloa, and I felt like the Daloa are a little easier to dress up because they aren’t as wide.

I normally wear a US size 9, but I ordered the 8-8.5 (39). I also have thin—but not narrow feet. I was concerned about the width, since the description says Birkenstock’s narrow shoe will fit medium width as well. The shoes fit nicely. The adjustable straps allow the shoe to fit securely. However, the soles are very stiff, so I spent some time flexing/rolling them to allow for a more natural movement when I walk. The arch support is sufficient. Comfy sandals!

Wearing Birks for decades...gizeh, arizona, real leather. Love these Yara's, Solid feel on, wonderful leather....awesome look!

I agree with previous reviews that this sandal runs large compared to other Birkenstocks. I usually wear a 38 and needed a 37 in this shoe. If you have chubbier feet or your toes just fit in the size you usually wear, you may want to get your usual size, otherwise, size down.

The ankle straps were way to big for my ankles. I had to punch 2 extra holes in each strap just to be able to wear them. I am a huge Birkenstock fan! I have have posterior tibial tendinitis and can only wear shoes with great arch support. I own Birkenstock sandals, boots, and sneakers and these sandals are unwearable for me. They have good arch support, but they flopped around much like a heavy flip flop.

My favorite pair of Birkenstock’s, they match with everything and are incredibly comfortable. A true summer staple, just be sure to size down!

My daughter had to test and return one size already looking for the right fit. She’s always an 8 and an 8 looked like a clown shoe on her! Trying a 7 1/2 as soon as we get it in the mail and hoping we don’t have to go a whole size down...

The anklestrap was a bit too wide and stiff for my style. Also noticed that they were floppier when walking compared to the Mayari style due to lack of instep cross strap. I exchanged for another pair of Mayaris. I have a high arch, in step and plantar faciitus. Birks are the best I've tried and still are more supportive than my custom orthotic insoles.

Being a first time Birkenstock buyer, these sandals hit the mark right on! They took a couple of days to break in, but now they are perfect for my feet. I have a wider foot, and they fit perfectly. I will most likely be buying another pair of Birkenstocks!

These sandals are SO cute, they can easily be dressed up or down. True to Birk style, there is a "wearing in" period until they form to your feet. I ordered these in black and my only complaint (and I havent had this issue with other Birks) is that my ankles & feet are dyed black everytime I wear these. I wore them all summer hoping this would start to lessen but no luck. I have to scrub my feet and ankles every time I take them off. I finally emailed birkenstock to ask what the deal was and they suggested misting them lightly with vinegar and water :/ Havent tried it yet as theyre packed away for the season but will give it a go and hope for the best before wearing them next summer!

This is a beautiful sandal. Birkenstock sandals make my arches hurt until a “break in” period is over. Sometimes when my tendons are hurting, I am absolutely unable to wear them. If I didn’t have any issues with my arch tendons, I would love these sandals with all my heart.

Most comfortable shoe for high arch and bunions! They do well at disguising them as well!!!
