Classic for a reason. These shoes are very supportive and the oiled leather is not too dark and not too light, so it goes with everything. Women with normal width feet should get the narrow. The medium is a men’s medium and wider than average ladies’ shoes. On me, the 37 narrow was a perfect fit (I normally wear a 6.5) and doesn’t look too heavy the way the wider version would. These are my go-to casual shoe for summer 2020.

Personally, I think spending the extra $25 for oiled leather is better than the $100 birkibuc. The leather ones break in so much easier and they’re a lot more comfortable since they actually stretch when you walk versus the cheaper, plastic $100 pairs that are stuff and crease badly.

I'm a woman, I usually go for medium width, and size 10. Definitely go Narrow, as they suggest! I mean - you know your foot best, but something wider then these, would be huge on me. Also, true to size! I ordered smaller at first - based on some reviews and what zappos suggestred, WRONG. Should've stuck to my true size to begin with.

Ordered tobacco but decided it was too light. Ordering Habana now.

The color is lighter than I thought but it will probably darken over time once the sandals get out and about. Great fit as usual. I know Birkenstocks do not fit everyone's feet well, but for me, they are the only shoe brad that really support my feet. They also help with my back and knee issues, as I compensate a lot in other shoes. These are great.

I love these shoes! They’re super comfy. I wear an 8.5 so I bought a size 39 narrow width, and they’re perfect. Love the oiled leather look, and the rose gold hardware. Nice details with the Birkenstock emblem in the hardware and embossed into the leather. Superior craftsmanship! The suede footbed is really soft on your feet. Timelessly fashionable!

Better than expected! Color and fit are better than expected.

I ordered my usual size but went with the narrow due to being unisex and also reading reviews. These shoes fit perfectly! So comfy. I am in love with the color, oil rubbed tobacco. My new favorites!

I love Birkenstock and have been wearing them for many years but I actually have a question and didn’t know where to post yet. Does anyone know the difference in the waxy leather in the oily leather? Thank you!

Loving my new Birkenstock Arizona's. Have never tried this style before and am glad I got these. Thought they would be a bit wider than regular as they were unisex but they were the same. I am a true size 8, with a wide to extra wide woman's shoe and 38's have always been my size in both Birkenstock's and Haflingers. These are just a smidge shorter than all my other 38's. Still feel and fit great but just a bit smaller. Have been wearing them around the house and outside when I can so they will be a perfect fit when we start getting out and about again. :) Spring happens and Zappo's like always, gives great service with great products. After a two day breaking in they feel great. The tobacco color is very flattering

I wish I had ordered the narrow width, but I mad them work by using the last hole on the straps. Otherwise, these are great. I love Birkies and even wear them in the winter-no snow on the ground, of course-with sox. Thanks Zappos, for having a great variety of them and also a great return policy.

Purchased these for my husband who is used to medium width shoes, but really has a narrow foot. Ordered the narrow width and they fit great! He is so happy and loves the way they “grab” his feet! Haha We never knew Birks came in narrow widths, so from now on, we know and can get the very best fit for my husband! Yay!

Fit and size is perfect. I love all Birkenstocks, but these are the best. The color is great and I'm sure will look great age they age. I highly recommend these.

I finally wore out my 15 year old pair of Arizona's in size 36 narrow. Over the years, the footprint left behind on the foot bed showed that 36 was too short for me, even though at the time I was wearing shoes mostly in 5.5B. It's possible the narrow makes the shoe slightly shorter. This time I ordered a 37 narrow and they are a perfect fit - a little room behind the heel, a little room in front of the toes. I'm just shy of 60 years old and my feet are changing, getting flatter and wider so that I'm wearing a size 6B most of the time now. So, I would suggest ordering Birkenstocks in narrow (for medium width feet) as if you wore a half size larger - narrow to have tightening room in your straps and longer to allow your feet to spread a little. On a side note, I had ordered a pair directly from Birkenstock company and got 2 different fitting shoes, even though they were marked correct to size. No guarantees of perfect with company direct. So even though the possibility is always there with Zappos to get overly tried on shoes or unexpected color variations, you can not beat their lightening fast return policy or generous customer service. Happy customer again!

So the fit on these is definitely confusing and there's probably no substitute for ordering a couple of sizes, as annoying as that can be. I am a fairly normal 9.5D in most shoes (10 in Nike running shoes) I initially bought the size 42 (9 to 9.5) and discovered that the length was perfect but they are definitely wide and the straps are for fairly thick feet. I have fairly bony feet, so these work but I either have to have them on the very last hole, and/or wear socks with them. After a few days of flopping around in them and being too late to return as they are worn, I realized I probably needed the Narrow version of the 42. Went ahead and ordered and lo and behold, the Narrow's work much better with bare feet, and are cradling my foot. Bottom line, it's actually good to have both, 42 regular for sock wearing, and 42 Narrow for bare feet..but if I were to do it again, I would just buy the Narrow. Long story short, if you have a bony foot, and not overly wide you will definitely want to try and narrow.

Leather stains socks - be careful. Otherwise, great shoes.

I have had many pairs of Birks before. They always seem tight at first and they stretch out and form to your feet. They get so comfortable! If you are looking for a tight fitted shoe, this isn’t it for you. I love how loose and laid back they are. I’ve never had them in black or backless and they are so cute!!! Look good with ripped jeans and a cute top.

I tried the Mayari style, but the Arizona's felt like they were more comfortable and hugged my foot better. Know that these will be very uncomfortable right out of the box. You must break them in a little bit every day for a couple of weeks. This process is what makes them a custom fit. Ladies, try the narrow! The soft footbed felt more comfortable but for some reason I was getting a farting noise with every step! These regular footbeds fart sometimes too.

I'm normally a size 5.5 or 6, but birkenstocks do not come in half sizes. I went with the 37 (which is a 6-6.5 in US sizes) and I have a little extra room in the back, but they feel good and a whole size down would be too small.

I love Birkenstocks. I own two pair of Birkenstocks that are my ‘go to’ shoes for summer and fall. When I was looking for shoes to wear around the house I immediately thought of Birkenstocks. I have a high arch, high instep and wide feet which makes it hard to find stylish shoes that fit and are comfortable. Birkenstocks run wide and can accommodate a high instep. In addition the footbed molds to your foot which provides excellent support for a high arch. When I’m wearing Birkenstocks it feels like the shoes were custom made for my foot. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Perfect in every way! The fit, the comfort! All perfect! The color black is also a nice, soft black with no shine. Love!

Love these but they do fit a little wider than my women's Birks. I think it is because of the unisex style. I still love them.

I love the oiled leather and love this color. It's traditional, tried and true Birkenstock. Just an overall classic. I wanted to get the Zinfandel color but the soft footbed was terrible for me, so this is what I opted for. Just note that the leather isn't designed to look perfect... it comes with some natural scuffs and variations in the leather. This is by design. I got two pairs just to see the difference and sent the one back that I didn't like as much. But these are amazing shoes!
