This was my first pair of Birkenstocks and I'm so thrilled already! I have high arches and find most sandals to have too little support for a full day of activities. These fully fit the bill! Be sure to tighten straps so that they are snug, loose straps can lead to nasty blisters.

Love them! I wear a size 7.5/8 US and ordered a size 37. Hereditary bunion on one foot and had surgery on the other - neither is bothered by these shoes. Recommend breaking them in a few hours at a time.

These are great shoes for your feet. Not very sexy but good for you. They will make you walk like you are supposed to and prevent (or heal) the most common foot and knee ailments that appear in your later years. I have metatarsalgia and the toe bump of the Birkenstock footbed requires gripping of the toes - basically alleviating the nerve pain. The multiple arch supports and negative heel are also therapeutic. On sizing - I normally wear a 5.5B or M width and the 36 Narrow fits perfectly. If I had ordered the regular width I would have run out of holes on the straps for tightening and my foot would be swimming around width-wise. A negative review said the shoe felt like you were walking on a roll of coins but I'm guessing that was due to over-tightening the straps. The straps should be loose enough that you can slide your foot forward to get your toes past the toe bump easily and there should be some room behind your heel. Not to the point of a floppy shoe but your toes should have to grip the bump as you walk, much like the Dr. Scholls of long ago. And you can't beat the German craftsmanship. Best "walking" shoe purchase ever!

The Arizona is a little looser than other Birkenstocks that I have, I had to use all the holes to get the straps adjusted so if you have thin skinny feet you may need to have an extra hole punched. I have 4 pairs of Birkenstocks and love them all, the color on these is awesome as they match anything!

Love these shoes! Great neutral color and so good for my feet. I use to wear flip flops that caused foot and back pain, these are worth the price!

Bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. He loves the sandal, we just need to exchange it for a larger size (sized down). Ordering a size down was the perfect fit, except his fourth toe was a little too long to comfortably fit in the footbed.

I love these! I ordered them on a whim over the summer and fell in love. I got the tobacco oiled letter color, and it's gorgeous. They were lighter when I got them and have sort of gotten a little darker but in a nice, aged-way. They are suuuuper comfortable, and I love that I can wear these with or without socks, no problem.

Finally purchased my first pair of Birkenstocks at age 55. Just wondering WHY I waited so long! These are, by far, THE most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Fantastic footbed with excellent arch support, and the concept of giving feet a little extra width is key to their extraordinary comfort.

These are extremely comfortable and supportive sandals. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than normal, based on other reviews, and they fit well. I ordered in wide, which also fit well. Breaking them in wasn't too bad either. All in all, just what I'd hoped for!

Waiting for spring to break them in, so I'm still rockin' my old pair. They look great, though. I'll probably waterproof them which will also soften the leather. Had originally purchased another color, but Zappos emailed me when these were back in stock. The exchange was painless. Thanks Zappos.

I ordered the Birkenstocks for my Granddaughter at Christmas. The speedy delivery was amazing. But alas we ordered the wrong size. With the help of Zappos customer service we got the right size as quick as the first pair. A return label was sent to me via email. They were returned via UPS no questions asked. By the way my Granddaughter loves the shoes. They are very comfortable now that she has them broken in. She goes to OSU and the Birkenstocks are very popular there. Thank you!

It's difficult to comment on a classic. The name Birkenstock speaks for itself. I have never had a shoe more comfortable and durable. I wear mine year round, with just a pair of wool socks during the winter. The only reason I got this extra pair is that I had done too much yard work in my others, so they became a bit unpresentable for going out and about in town. But, having two pairs is great! If you're new to Birkenstocks, I highly recommend them. The "Arizona" never goes out of style, but then again, neither do any of their other versions.

First things first- don't follow the Zappos Birkenstock size chart! I am a size 7-7 1/2 (usually a 7) and the size 36 fit perfectly- although on the size chart it said the Birkenstock 36 was for people with size 5-5 1/2! These are my second pair of Birkenstocks, my first pair I ordered a size 37 and they were on the big size- I'd say 7 1/2-8. So order a size or 2 down! But other than that, my Birkenstocks are perfect. Comfortable, cute as usual, and goes well with any season. I'd recommend them to anyone with style!

Love these, actually wide enough for a foot, all the way through the toe bed. Comfortable to walk in all day! Great quality.

The gold standard in Birks. I have two-my trashed out Workenstocks and the ones I wear everywhere. If you hate shoes as much as I do, you definitely need these sandals.

This is my 4th pair of Birkenstock, but the first time I ordered Arizona (I usually get Milano). This style definitely needs breaking in,especially the higher strap that goes across the bone of the mid-foot above the arch. Otherwise same Birkenstock quality and I expect comfort once it's broken in.

OK not the most stylish, but the comfort more than makes up for this. You do have to put up with a little break in to get the shoe conform to your foot. This is a small price to pay for years of comfort. I have been a fan of Birkenstocks for over 15 years. This is my fifth pair of sandals and last year I bought a pair of Birkenstock clogs to wear in winter. I highly recommend Birkenstock.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks and I really like them so far. They were comfortable right off the bat, in spite of what I had heard about break-in time. I did have to return them for a smaller size, however. I usually wear a men's 10.5-11 so I ordered a 43 (supposed to be equivalent to 10-10.5), but I returned them for a 42 and they fit great.

Excellent sandal! So comfortable, I barely realize I have them on. When wet, they seem to dry completely within an hour.

Very comfortable shoes. They mold to your feet with very good support. I have worn them around Disneyland, shopping, and they look the same today as they did right out of the box. Will be buying another pair in black.

These sandals are so comfortable I don't care that they aren't terribly fashionable. I usually wear a size 8 so I bought the 39 and they are a little long but I'd rather have them a little long than too short. They feel really good especially when my feet get swollen.

Good solid shoe, very soft and comfy. Wish it came in half sizes because it's just a tad too roomy. However the size below was too tight. I found the shoe very true to the website color, and the soft leather in the bottom was way more supple than I expected. The straps on the top are sturdy without being rigid and don't cut into my feet at all.

Absolutely in love with these sandals. They are so comfortable and can be dressed up or down. The color is pretty true to picture and looks like a nice weathered brown leather color.
