Love them! I was a little hesitant because the oiled leather is stiffer than the other material options offered by Birkenstock. They rubbed my feet for only 2 wears and then were broken in. They are very comfortable and versatile with many outfits. These will definitely be my go to summer shoes!

I love these shoes so much that I would even consider wearing them to bed (Seriously. They're amazing.)! They feel like they are just part of my feet. GET THEM. They're worth it! However, I did need to get a size down. I wear a 7 in every other pair of shoes that I own, so I originally got the 38. I felt that they were a little big, so I decided to try the 37 and they were perfect for me!

Great shoes! I'm on my feet all day and these have been really awesome so far. I'm normally a size 7 and (based on other reviews) I ordered the 37, which is supposed to be a US Women's 6-6.5. I feel like I could have maybe even gone down one more size. Enjoy your birks!

The comfort never disappoints! I always have to size down with Birkenstocks compared to my normal shoes. My wife doesn't like the look. That's the only reason I gave a lower style rating. I have to wear specialty orthotics for my shoes and these are the only sandals I've found that don't mess me up! Recommend to anyone who puts comfort over fashion, but all in all they do go well with shorts.

After developing a foot issue I was told to look into purchasing a pair of Birkenstocks. It took me 3 tries to get this one right! Birkies, at least for me, run very large. After figuring out that I actually was a size smaller, I found that they were still too loose. I tried a narrow, which I have never been before in any shoe. Bingo! Perfection! I thank Zappos for being patient with me while I figured out my sizing issue. I know that as these wear-in they will be even more amazing!

All I have to say is that I'm extremely happy with this purchase. They are comfortable and look great. They are sized to your feet perfectly. Will buy again in the future.

These were a gift for my daughter. The fit was a little wide, but that was expected with the unisex sizing.

I bought these for my husband and he likes them. The straps stay up as opposed to the suede so they're easy to slip into. Berkies always the best for comfort. He just wears them around the house to make our stone floors not so hard on the feet.

These are my first pair of Birks and I love them! I've been wanting them for a few years now. I actually got a matching pair for my husband (our dog ate his other pair) for our upcoming trip to Hawaii. SO cute!

This is somewhere around my tenth pair of Birkenstocks, so I know what I want and what size and model. The ordering was easy, the price is what it is on Birks, and they were at my house very fast, so a chore made easy, thanks.

Bought these for my wife per her instructions...arrived promptly and as advertised. She has worn Birks for years!

The only issue I have with Birkenstock, is their sizing... I wear shoe size 7 1/2. But using the Birkenstock size recommendation, its all wrong... I found a store that carries Birks, so I could actually try some on. Found that I fit a Birks size 38, which is something like a size 5.5 on the Birks recommendation chart. My recommendation, try to find a store where you can actually try on some sandals, before buying from Zappos... Don't rely on the recommended size chart...

Wow! Shoes shipped almost before I got off the phone. Promised in 2 days, they got to my friend's house before I did. Oh, I'm supposed to be reviewing the shoes, not Zappos. Okay, they're just like every other pair of Birkenstocks I own: great., comfy, perfect.

I have a wide foot, very high arches and insteps, and now have foot issues. Right now this is the only shoe that doesn't pinch or hurt my foot. Fortunately I live in the south and can wear them most of the year. These are worth the money, hopefully will last for years.

A bunch of my friends have gotten Birkenstocks before me and have told me wonderful things about it. Everything they said about it is true. Although I will say, I usually wear size 7 for tight fitting shoes which is a 40 in Birks, I had to return them and get 38's which fit much better. Luckily, Zappos is amazing and made returning and rebuying extremely easy and smooth. One warning, however, Birks start out very stiff and can be a little painful to wear but just keep wearing them for a few days and it will mold to your feet and become the most comfortable shoes you have ever gotten.

I really like this leather sandal. I also have the Mayari by Birkenstock and found that the oiled leather sandal was much more comfortable since it ran a little more narrow.

These shoes are as amazing as I remember them! They are SO comfy and supportive. A very happy Zappos customer here!

I love these classic Birkenstocks. They have helped ease foot pain and are always my go to shoes especially around the house instead of slippers. More support, more comfort and now they are 'cool'.

Just received my new Birkenstock Arizona's. I wear them every day without fail, so very comfortable and durable. I purchased my last pair in 2009...I've been wearing them since the '70s and wouldn't trade them for the world! I've told many others about them and without fail, they have loved them as much as I do. Just wish I could get them "already broken in" but that would defeat the purpose of the cork foot bed. Bare feet are where it's at, or Birk's are a close second. Thank you!

I was replacing a 20-something year old pair of the same Birks. Same size. So no big surprises. The first couple days were a little uncomfortable because the leather straps still have (what?) defined edges to them. Now I don't feel it at all. And it's great to actually have a whole footbed under my feet again. I wish I could post a side by side picture. In short: hello, new old friend!

Excellent shoe. Exchanged for smaller size. I'm 5.5 to 6 and I exchanged the 36 for a size 35.

These shoes feel wonderful on my feet. LET IT BE KNOWN THESE SHOES FIT LARGE! I am a size 11.5/12, the pair that ultimately fit me like a glove WERE THE 10/10.5! Thankfully Zappos has 365 return policy and I was able to get that snafu sorted out easily and quickly! THANKS ZAPPOS!

Hard to believe I made it through the 80s without a pair of these, but they're my first pair, and I love them. I wear a consistent 8 in Paul Green / other Euro-designed street shoes; 8.5 in pointy or dress shoes. My foot is not a true 'wide' but the wide side of B and pretty much the shape of a shoebox. Birks are perfect! They're so easy, they feel amazing, and thank goodness they now actually look dorky-cute. The size chart calls for a 39 for 8-8.5. This size was significantly too big for me. Thanks to Zappos quick replacement I got the 38 within two days. Didn't even need to adjust the straps. Been walking happily ever since. Wanted to stick with tried-true, so went with the original cork bed and am very happy. Would love to see the original footbed with more strap styles and colors. I'll be buying more.
