Taking one star off of "comfort" because the oiled leather is quite hard and stiff, but all in all this is a good, comfortable sandal. And it's the uppers my feet battled with, not the footbeds! I think it would have been easier if I'd gotten suede, but I wanted something extremely durable. I wear Joyas to work (12 hour shifts on a concrete floor) and the softness of them is very helpful, but it's actually a relief to put the Birks on when I get home - they allow my toes to spread a little. So few shoes do. And even though I'm female, I got the regular width. I love the roominess of them - I wish some of the more feminine Birk styles were available in regular width. And they may not be pretty, but I've gotten some very positive reactions to them: people who have owned these shoes love them, and won't hesitate to tell you. Altogether, I'm very happy with these.

Birkenstocks never disappoint but these Arizonas have to be a new favorite! Didn’t have to break them in, and I can be on my feet all day long and be comfortable!! Awesome shoes and the oiled leather gives it the perfect “distressed look”! These are a must!!

Great classic sandals that will last. If you’re a woman with larger and NOT wide feet like me, order narrow.

I absolutely LOVE my Birks. They are so comfortable and I can wear them all day without having tired or sore feet. I have average, size 9 feet and ordered the size 39 Narrow. Last year I made the mistake of not ordering narrow and they are way too wide for my feet. This pair is perfect though! I would 100% recommend these

I know there are already a ton of reviews on this shoe available. I read through several of them and finally decided to order the size 39 Narrow. My shoe size is a relatively consistent size 8.5 regular width in women's shoes however sometimes I need a 9. For this particular shoe, I decided to order the size 8-8.5 narrow based on other reviews. The length of the shoe is perfect. As for width, I am never a narrow. In fact the front part of my foot is actually kind of wide. Women's dress shoes that have a toe strap are almost always too tight and uncomfortable in a regular width. In this particular shoe, I am glad I listened to the reviews and ordered these in the narrow width. The adjustable straps provide the forgiveness I need. I would have been swimming in a regular width. The one part of the shoe I am uncertain with is the arch support. It's a lot more prominent in these shoes than in any other pair of shoes that I own (including athletic shoes). I can't decide if the arch is hitting me in the wrong spot or if it's just bugging me because I am not used to having that support in my shoes. I may end up returning due to arch.

I'm a HUGE Birkenstock fan but these Arizonas have to be my new favorite style. And the oiled leather "distressed" look is beautiful. These are a MUST!

I absolutely love these! Super happy they are back in style. They are so comfy! Mine fit true to size I’m a size 6 and ordered a 36 and fit perfect. Get them they will not disappoint!

I absolutely love these shoes, they were a Christmas gift and by far my favorite of the year. I have two other pairs of birks but these are by far the most convenient pair I have, you can wear them with literally anything.

I wear a 7.5 or 8 (womens) and have a normal or maybe slightly narrow foot. I tried these on in a few sizes and kept the 38 narrow. After adjusting the straps they fit perfectly!

These shoes are very comfortable, supportive, and cute! I'm typcally a size 6 in US shoes, but ended up sizing down to a 5-5.5 (size 36) in these shoes, and they fit perfectly. Personally, they feel comfortable out of the box, but I was on the search for a shoe that would be slightly stiff and supportive, as I've had a lot of foot issues in the past. I would recommend these shoes to anyone! Just make sure to measure your foot before ordering.

Their is a reason I have numerous pairs of these. They are all consistently comfortable and you never have to worry about the size being right. Birkenstock has been around so long, they certainly know what they are doing.

These are nice but run very small. My daughter measures 8.5 in store and a 40 was too small to just barely right. I reordered a 42 and they were perfect.

I'm typically a 9W but perfectly fit a 39 in birks. I find the high arch very comfortable and never have a break in period. The tabacco leather looks very good with pale skin. Usually my feet look like pale dead fish in sandals so this makes me happy.
