Order the narrows if you are an average "lady". I wear and 8.5, and a 38 worked perfectly for me. The birkenstocks feel the same as my first pair bought back in 1997. yep, I'm that old.

Great shoe. This about my 15th pair of Arizonas in the past 25 years. I always love getting new ones. As I get older (51 now), the arch support is key. If I've been wearing shoes with poor arch support, the Arizonas get my feet back in shape and happy! I'm a 9 1/2 mens and have always worn a 42 in birks.

Great Shoes. Solid build. Do not overly tighten the straps, it will cause a blister, especially before breaking in the leather.

I was trying to replace the beloved pair I got in 2015 and finally wore out. Couldn't remember if I had gotten narrow or regular, so I followed everyone's advice on here. I am a normal women's 9 1/2 (but with a high arch) and so I ordered narrow based on the reviews........ did not fit. Waaaay too narrow. Go with your gut, guys.

Great shoe but my husband can not keep them in his feet... we ordered size down which fit him but still struggling to not walk out of them. Sad cause he really liked the style.

This is my third pair of Arizona’s and I love them so much. This is my first leather pair and I think they may be my favorite (I’ve also had suede and birkibuc). They rubbed a little and the leather was stiff on first wear but it only took that first wear to break them on. Also I have fairly wide feet and a high instep and I’ve never had a problem with fit since the straps are adjustable.

Oh how I love my Birkenstocks! These were my first pair, and now I'm obsessed! They are beyond comfortable, have amazing arch support, and work with 95% of my outfits! Plus, in Panhandle Florida, they mark me as a Pacific Northwesterner. My only complaint for these is that the pair I received had what looked like a weird wax marking on the upper side of the front strap on one shoe - obviously a defect. With a little wear and some care, it's not as visible, but it bothered me that Zappos didn't send me a flawless pair.

Great gift for my adult son. He loves the fit and the comfort. Cant go wrong with a shoemaker that has successfully made shoes for over 200 years.

My original order, size 6, was too long on my foot. I have short toes and the strap across the toes felt uncomfortable. I measured my foot on the shoe box size guide and it showed I should have a smaller size. WHEN reordering, the original color I ordered was not in stock for the new size. I picked another color. I believe I will love them once they are broken in some. I wore socks the first day and now wearing them without socks. A couple more days should do the trick. I will purchase another pair. The return process with so easy. Great customer service!

These are working out well for me. Important to remember - their 'Narrow' is like a Medium, the picture of the footprint next to size is not filled in. Wide has the footprint filled in. These are 'narrow' and fit great (normally a medium in us sizes).

I love these sandals. They’re comfortable and fun. I’m a real estate agent and these are easy to get on and off.

First of all...kudos to Zappos for excellent customer service. Love the color. First pair I ordered looked kinda black/gray so I sent back. These came a beautiful warm brown like the pics. I called Birkenstock to verify that Zappos is an authorized dealer. They are! So, with lightening fast shipping, I opted to buy from Zappos instead.

When I received these sandals I put them and they were so comfortable. Well worth the price. I have a wide foot and the regular width was perfect for me. These shoes are a great investment.

Love these! I originally ordered a 42 but sized down to a 41. I wear a 9.5 in New Balance and a 9 in Converse, in case any of you are unsure about what size to get. Overall, great shoes and very comfy, perfect for the summer.
