My husband has bunions and struggles to find sandals that fit. I tried Birkenstocks for my plantar fasciitis. They were awesome. I convinced him to try a pair. Being able to adjust the straps to his personal best feel is terrific for him. He loves them.

Absolutely love this sandal. Got a 43 for Men’s 10.5 and the fit is perfect!

I love these shoes. The first couple days they were a little uncomfortable, but now they are great.

Birks are an acquired taste, and getting them broken in can seem overwhelming... Hang in there! Though I wear a 6.5-7, the 37 worked for me. I also got the narrow width.

Every one needs to know when making their first Birkenstock purchase that to not judge them before you’ve worn them for 2 weeks at least. They are stiff but the cork softens and forms to your feet soon. Until then you will feel irritation and maybe some uncomfortable rubbing. But hang in there. Because once your feet settle into the cork any rubbing disappears and they will literally be the most comfortable shoes you’ve ever owned. My sis tried to talk me into these shoes for years but I resisted cuz they felt so stiff. She finally just bought me a pair. So I wore them so I wouldn’t hurt her feelings. Never expecting to like them. Now I have several pairs. I LOVE THEM. And because of the cork they form only to my feet and I have a high arch so it’s like they were designed specifically for my feet. So even though they aren’t specially made for my feet they feel like they were “prescribe” medically. Buy these shoes. You won’t regret it. Go to a Birkenstock store first so they can fit you cuz their sizes aren’t something you can guess. I wear a 39 normal width. They don’t size them in an average way. Like 7, 8, etc etc. then once you know buy them from Zappos. Cuz Zappos is, well, just awesome. Free shipping, fast shipping, awesome customer service. And they aren’t anymore expensive. I can’t say enough good things about Zappos. And no I’m not being paid to leave this review. It’s real. And I’m a real customer.

These shoes offer great support for my flat feet. I can wear these shoes all day long at work (I am a teacher) and my feet and back feel great at the end of the day.

I followed the advice from another review to order the narrow width. Even though I always wear medium width shoes, I ordered my usual size for length but in the narrow width and these sandals fit perfectly! I think the medium width would have indeed been too wide. Very happy with these sandals. I ordered them with the idea of wearing them for outside work only, but they look really cute with some of my outfits so I'll be wearing them for regular casual wear as well.

I love these sandals. The arch support is great. I have moderately a narrow instep and bought a narrow: I have the buckle on the tightest setting. If you have extremely narrow feet, these might still be too wide.

Love these Birks! Always in style and super comfy. I am a true size 7/regular width and always order a 37 in Euro sizes. This can be slightly confusing when ordering Birkenstocks because according to their sizing chart I should be ordering a 38 regular. Made that mistake when I ordered my first pair and they were like wearing boats on my feet. Now I know to order a 37 narrow and they fit perfectly - with or without socks. I also own another pair of the the Arizona style in Copper leather. Totally worth the extra $$ for the soft footbed!

I originally ordered the shoe in my normal size and the narrow fit and it was slightly big, possibly too narrow. My feet have high arches and slightly wide but I do not have to buy "wide" shoes normally. I called customer service and ordered the same size in regular fit and it was so large that I couldn't tighten the straps tight enough to fit. I called again and ordered a size smaller than my normal size and narrow fit again and the shoe fit perfectly. They are a little stiff at first but still comfortable. Customer service was above and beyond my expectations. Extremely friendly and helpful with very quick shipping!!! I was impressed. I'm thrilled with my purchase and can't wait to see how they feel over time. Thanks for amazing service Zappos!!!!

I am still breaking these in. They are very cute. These are very stiff and I am sure that they will be comfortable once they are broken in.

My feet are wider than wide,flat,and now a little undiagnosed neuropathy going on......Birks are the most comfortable for me...nothing will ever totally ease my discomfort but these dont make it worse...

I got these cause a friend recommended them. She warned me that the arch support in the beginning can feel like a lot, but that they would break in after a few wears. I had to return the first pair cause they were too large. After wearing them for a few days, they have soften and are slowly becoming my second favorite shoes. (Sorry birkenstock nothing beats a slip on pair of Vans.) They have great arch support. They actually stay on my foot when I wear them. They take some time to break in, but once they do, you may not want to take them off.
