I finally got the right version, lol. I recently returned the soft bed Birkenstock’s because I didn’t like the fit or the way they felt. I then did a little more research and ordered these, and it made all the difference in the world. You must find the right version for you as stated before, there are several versions of Birkenstock’s. Don’t get discouraged if you run into a road block, just keep looking and read the customer reviews. Customers tend to tell the truth about these things. Fit, style, and the correct version are very important. Also, you need to give them time to break in, then you will either love them, or hate them, lol. Good luck!

Feel like the sizing has changed in the past 5-6 years. Bought my last pair of birks and have always gotten a 38 narrow. And I’ve generally used my euro size to buy most of my shoes in American sizes since American sizing tends to vary, but euro is 98% always accurate. Was shocked when I had to size down to a 37 narrow when I purchased these! But still love this style and looking forward to getting another 6 years out of this pair.

I love these. I don’t have a narrow foot, but the narrow is perfect for me in birks. After struggling with plantar fasciitis, I went back to wearing Birkenstock sandals and shoes. They may not be the prettiest, but they support my high arches!

Once again, Birkenstocks do not disappoint. These sandals are as gorgeous as they are well-made. I have purchased Birks before and I decided to get the "hard" footbed for this one, and I definitely made the right choice! Perhaps it is just the way I walk, but the soft footbeds actually hurt a little more than the hard ones when I am in the process of breaking them in. Also, Zappos had them delivered to my house the next day! They were not expected to arrive that early. This was my first Birkenstock purchase through Zappos, and it definitely will not be the last!

I am typically a size 7 and went with the 37's after reading some of the reviews that these run about a half a size big. They fit my feet perfectly! Once these bad boys are broken in, I don't suspect I'll wear anything else.

I love my new Birkenstock sandals and Zappos' customer service. Initially I was sent a pair of mocha brown sandals in a box that said Tobacco on the label. Called the customer service to let them know that they shipped me a box with the wrong sandals inside and they sent me a new pair overnight. They also arranged for the UPS to pick up the box with the wrong sandals from my house, which made the entire process very convenient and stress free. Their initial oversight turned to be a benefit because I found out that the regular size was too wide and asked them to send me the replacement in narrow: perfect! I usually wear an 8 medium but in these pair I had to get an 8 narrow. The quality of the leather is excellent and the tobacco brown simply beautiful. I love that the color is uneven which gives it a natural look. If you don't like the slightly natural, somewhat worn look, don't buy these sandals. I read that some people thought they were scratched or looked worn. They are not but the variations in the dyed leather may not be for every taste. However, I personally find them very stylish and comfortable and highly recommend them.

Classic style and last forever if you take care of them. Rubbed leather is a great look and different than the ones everyone else has. Would highly recommend

Returning because the unisex sizes didn’t work for me but I did love the color in both of them; Habana and Tabaco colors. Impeccable shipping as well as customer service.

I’m usually a 38 in European sizes and the 38 in the plastic version of these shoes fits perfectly. Alas, I’m apparently a 37 in the leather version so I had to exchange them. Can’t wait for the correct size to arrive though.

Husband lives in all summer. What’s better than birks?!

Pleasantly surprised to find i liked these. I have purchased these before but didn't keep them because they looked big on my feet. Trick was to get a narrow width in this model. Women's specific don't see to run that way but it really helped with the Arizona. They fit better and didn't look so clunky. I generally wear a size 9 in 90% of shoes i buy so i purchased a 40 and they were perfect. Good support (plantar fasciitis feet), which was what i needed in a sandal.

Still on the fence about the fit. The straps are a tad long when I adjust them, but those can be trimmed by my shoe repair store.

These shoes are very nice looking, fit great for wide feet, and arrived quickly. The bottom of the foot is very hard, which I hope to adjust to in time.

Very comfortable sandal. Feels “broken in” without the pain of breaking in! I usually wear a shoe size 8.5 or 9, I got the size 39 and they fit perfectly! I’ve had a pair of Birkenstocks (in a different style) for 5 years that are still in great shape... I just had to have more. They are durable, comfortable, stylish and definitely worth the price tag. Would recommend to anyone!

I wear a size 11 in regular shoes so I size down in Birks with the medium width & they fit perfectly.

Leather is softer.

I have been wearing Birkenstock Arizona for years. I actually prefer the original footbed to the soft footbed as I feel like I get better support from the original. I try to stray from time-to-time just because I get bored wearing the same sandals all the time, but I always come back to the Arizona! If you have foot problems and need awesome support in a sandal, don't look any further. Highly recommend!

I really like this Sandal but my feet have bad bunions so my left foot my big toe goes to the left so with the foot print I. The bed of the sandal hits my left big to wrong other then that I like the sandals wish they had a little higher arch .

I wear a men’s 11.5 US, and these 44’s are just a shade small. I’m keeping them, as I know they’re going to wear in, but I might have been happier with the next size up.

The oiled tobacco birkis are the perfect color. They look great with my pale northwest skin tone. Lol. The narrow was a good choice for me, as I normally wear a regular in women’s. Glad I followed the advice of other reviewers.
