I ordered these for my husband and he said they fit perfectly: the arch support, size and width.

I wanted these to wear with wooly socks in the house this winter instead of the Uggs I have been wearing. I'm very pleased with the better arch support and I can pop outside for the mail without changing (no snow yet!). I did order the narrow width as recommended in other reviews and they are just perfect! I'll be wearing them for years.

I ordered the wrong size by accident. Customer service was AMAZING. New birks are perfect. THANKS. (My plantar fasciitis is feeling less pronounced!!)

I ordered the narrow fit after reading the recommendation although I have never worn a narrow shoe, and glad I did, they fit perfectly, and the 5.5 matches my normal size. I'm surprised how comfortable they are right away, obviously the leather straps need time to adjust but otherwise pretty easy.

I have a pretty wide foot and I still have three holes to go to be wider. I grew up in the 60s and these are my favorite shoes… They are still amazing. My daughter bought the black vegan ones for $40. I could not do that. I had to get the oiled leather… True to my roots.

Purchased these as a gift for my husband's birthday, and he loves them! Has worn them multiple times. They're a little wide, but thankfully that can be adjusted with the buckles.

This is my second pair. I love them! I have these to wear in public and I kept my old pair to work in the garden and feed the chickens. They are great shoes. When these start wearing down I’ll just keep swapping them out. These are a staple I high recommend.

Worth the extra $25. I ordered another pair that looked like these that were $99 but immediately sent them back. I needed a new pair to replace a pair I’ve had for years. These feel like they are going to last.

This is my first pair of Berks and they are great. I have worn them in the house and around the town. They are not broken in yet so according to everyone, the sandals are only going to get more comfortable.

Always been a Birk lover! This style is my favorite since I was a teenager. Highly recommend these in all colors. They are comfortable and super cute to compliment all outfits.

As advertised, these do have a break-in period -- now having worn these for a couple weeks they are much more comfortable than initially (when they were like walking on a completely unforgiving platform). They are still not as soft as an old pair of rather generic sandals that I wore before these, but the conforming arch and toe-hold are a plus (I think) for longer-term comfort.

Leather Birkenstock’s are fantastic - take a little time to break in the footbed.

super feel of authentic Birkenstocks

My foot is EEE wide in a 10 1/2 so I always buy a size up if they don’t have this width. Preferred these in the equivalent of a US 11 and they fit great. The only reason for not giving a 5 in comfort is that Berks are a little painful to break-in so I wear them a little each day. Noticeably better after just a few days.

I normally wear a size 11 EE, but the size 44 were too small. the size 45 was just right. Birkenstocks have a wonderful foot bed and arch support. I have worn them for years -love them!

Perfect shoe for teachers who are moving between rooms all day! Great support! Women should order narrow. These are unisex shoes.

Had to order 4 pair to finally get the right Birks. The color, leather (or not) strap and the type (male, female or unisex) were not crystal clear in either photos or descriptions. I’m sure some of that is on me but some of the distinctions are so fine it can be a coin flip. But these are leather straps and they hold up so I can always slide foot in and out. Also, these are Mens and they have the extra room relative to a unisex that is necessary. I was never even aware of a poor foot fit in 20 years of owning Birks until I accidentally ordered a unisex pair. Anyway, these are great. I just thought I’d add some commentary for anyone trying to find the perfect Birk to make sure you read and look twice before ordering.

Great shoes, healed my plantar fasciitis in a week. Wonderful. But, I wear 8.5 to 9, and 41s were HUGE!! Finally, after two returns, I found that 39s were perfect. So, my suggestion is to go down two sizes.
