Great shoe with a few issues... I love these shoes. Very sporty, vegan, and comfy! The footbed is so squishy and comfy and though the fit is snug, it's not uncomfortable. I had to order 1/2 size smaller than my normal size as the toe area was so long! One problem: I went out dancing one night on a flat, nice wood floor and by the end of the night, the bottoms were coming apart in several spots. Zappos was awesome (as usual) and replaced them right away. I'll definitely order other models of J-41s and absolutely from Zappos (seriously awesome customer service)!

Very Cute Shoe. Needs A Little Breaking In. Love the look and fit of the shoe! I'm new to vegan shoes and found the materials a bit more uncomfortable than leather. The shoes rubbed a pretty big blister on the back of my heel. I suspect that they will feel better with time. They are really cute and the adjustable fit is very nice.

Perfect for your "socks with sandals" gal. I love these shoes! They are one of the very few shoes I have ever owned that could accommodate my EE width. They are incredibly comfortable and because the width is adjustable, they will fit over anything from heavy hiking socks to bare feet, even with my wide feet. Perfect for your dear Seattleite friends who insist on wearing homemade rag wool socks with their REI-esque sandals, whom you are desperately trying to urge them to wear more feminine shoes. (I am one of them, so I am permitted to use this stereotype.) The one thing that I am worried about is how long these will last. In my experience, velcro closures are not the most reliable and the straps have come undone a few times. Also, I am wearing through the tread of these shoes much faster than I had hoped...

Fell apart after two months! I bought these to be my cute casual, walk around anywhere shoes before going to live in Beijing this spring. By the time I had them for two months, wearing them nearly every day, we had to glue one of the soles back on with super glue, and the rubber around the toes has worn away from being scuffed on things. I didn't wear them hiking, I just wore them walking around the city. Boo! I got over the blisters, and they were comfortable, and they weren't too hot for Chinese summer, but I wish they had been more durable!

Looks great but gives blisters! I love the look of this shoe! Too cute! And I did so much walking in them. However, my feet were COVERED in blisters. Too bad because they are pretty comfortable.

Looked Great, Hurt - This was a really cute shoe and I was bummed it didn't work out between us. I have a high arch, and hence a "tall" foot. This shoe didn't accommodate it at all and cut across my toe. The shoe hurt when I was sitting at my desk. It's too bad!

Not as good as I hoped! The vegan material is not forgiving. It is hot and blister inducing. The heels have been so hard on my feet that I've had to push them down and stand on them to get through my day (that is with bandaid preparation). Unfortunately they can't be returned at this point. I will give them to a friend and hope she does better with them. They look cool.

Not really moderate arch support - I was a little disappointed by the arch support. The ratings really need something between "no arch support" and "moderate arch support"... Still, very light, airy and cute and comfortable right away. But not enough arch support for a full day of walking around (like a pair of Chaco’s).

Really wanted to love these shoes as they look great, but where the top mesh meets the side Pleather is a huge seam that dug into my little toe. Also, the heel tab dug into my Achilles tendon. Since there are already shoes out there that are perfectly comfy out of the box (Keen, Merrell, Birkenstock), these shoes didn't seem to be worth the effort.

Not the right shoe fit for me - These shoes look great and are very unique but I have a wide foot and the straps are very tight even when adjusted and hurt my foot. I was looking for a shoe that I could wear all year and this shoe is a bit summery since it has mesh toes and sides. Decided to order the J-41 Sara Sports.

Adorable, but painful! These shoes are just as cute as they look in the picture, but after about 15 minutes of walking around in them, I could feel the blisters all over the place! I had to give them away. Too bad for price, too.

Kind of Disappointed - I admit, I am tough on shoes and have bad feet. Which is why I was so excited to find these shoes! Cute, durable and comfortable. I was looking forward to wearing these all summer. But the sole has already started to fall apart, after only about 4 miles worth of walking. And the fabric on the side bends weirdly and has been cutting into my foot. Thought I had found the perfect vegan shoe... almost. If they fit just a little better and were constructed a bit better perhaps these would be perfect.

Maybe if I had small feet - I was really looking forward to these shoes, but I wear a size 9.5-10, and they made my feet look odd—boat-ish and very flat. They were very comfy, with good arch support, and the ventilation through the mesh would be great on summer days. I have a narrow heel, though, and there was some slipping when I walked. Tightening the straps took care of that, but they still made weird squeaky noises against my skin. It also felt like my feet were rolling inward instead of being supported evenly.

Cute, but small! I really, REALLY wanted to love these shoes... but they were just too darn small! Like, WAY small -- couldn't even get my foot into my normal size. Bummer.

Why not Amazon sizes? What a great shoe. Too bad it's not in my size -- 12 W -- which is what all the models that tend to advertise this type of shoe actually wear!
