The J-41 Aquarius-Vegan is very comfortable. I have flat feet and my feet hurt when I walk a lot, but in the J41 Vargen I am able to walk and stand long periods. They are soft, flexible and have good support for this style shoe.

Very great shoes. Comfy and cute. I wear them to work. They wear a little on your feet if you don\'t have little sockies though, and on slick surfaces they make a lot of squeaking noises. Not a problem if you\'re outside, but at work everyone hears me coming. Great buy, anyway. I\'m very pleased with mine. Haven\'t tested them out in the water yet. Oh, and they run small, I had to return mine for a half size smaller. But overall, fantastic.

I just bought these shoes because I needed something to trek around Europe in that didn't look like "Ugly American" shoes! Wow, these are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. This particular one runs a little small. I bought my usual size 8.5 and they fit, but were just a tiny bit snug around my little toes so I returned them for a 9. They fit perfectly! I have not found that they need breaking in; no blisters, no heel rubbing at all and I have been wearing them constantly. They are so great looking and I have been getting tons of compliments. Some people have said they thought they were kind of hot. I have not found that at all. You can feel the air coming through the mesh top. Love them! They are well worth the price.

Very comfortable from the very first wear. The straps give you the flexibility to wear them as tight or as loose as you want. I'm considering getting them in another color!

I really like these versatile shoes. The first 2-3 days they rubbed my pinkie toe and I wore them with a Band-Aid to cushion that spot. Now they are totally comfortable. I get them wet and dirty all the time and they are easy to wash. I don't know if they are recommended for water use, but I hike through streams in them since they don't hold a lot of water and have pretty good traction. And I love the way they look!

I read ALL the reviews before buying these shoes because $100 is a lot to spend on one pair! But they\'re well worth the price. I've had them for about a month and the first time I wore them, they rubbed my heel just a little bit. No blister, but it may have been worse if I'd worn them longer. Since then, however, they have been SOOO comfortable and no rubbing. Part of my job is to take journalists on tours of the state, including mountains, rivers, valleys, cities, museums, etc., and I need comfy, casual, rugged shoes that I can go from a dusty trail into a restaurant or hotel without making me look like a slob. I love my Keen trekker-style shoes, but they're too casual and have gotten kind of ratty from all the abuse I've put them through. The J-41s are cute enough for my job but rugged enough to wear camping and hiking. They're really lightweight and comfy. Since they're close-toed, they're going to make your feet sweat, and that's something that really "icks" me out about wearing shoes without socks, but these aren't bad. My feet get a little sweaty but not gross. Some of the reviews mention the velcro not sticking, and that's true, but only when they're too tight and I squat (flexing my foot). They don't just un-velcro for no reason. I wear usually wear an 8 1/2 and that was the perfect size for these shoes too. They don't run bit or small on me. I compared prices between Zappos and just about every other online store and they were all about the same, so the free shipping and great reputation is what led me to order from Zappos.

J-41 Aquarius! I love them! I love them! So comfortable. True to size. I wear a 6.5 and they fit great. Good support. I haven't bought a pair of J-41's I did not like. I have 3 different styles. They have made a big difference for the knee problem I USED TO have. I'm on my feet all day at work with various types of terrain (I manage a beach club) and the shoes are great for getting around with stability.

The J-41 Aquarius is an awesome shoe. Not only is it cute for this type of shoe, but the comfort exceeded my expectations. I wear a 7 1/2 and this shoe fit true to size. Because you can adjust the tightness in the width by the straps help with velcro, I would think if your feet were a little thinner than average, these shoes would work for you. Overall great shoe, very cute and comfy...perfect summery walking shoe.

The most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Really. Wore a brand new pair on vacation in San Diego -- probably walked 20 miles in total comfort. And bonus! They don't stink after wearing them! Highly recommended.

Absolutely love these shoes! They fit true to size - I've received many compliments on them! The comfort level is also astonishing! Very nice shoes and I'm very happy with them. I'll probably purchase another pair from the J-41 line in the future!
