These felt okay at first but after walking for about fifteen minutes the strap cut into my ankle. By the end of my walk the skin was broken. I tried loosening them as much as possible but that didn't help

Wrong color in box...very poor quality control by Zappos. Will be returning shoes ASAP as wrong pair was sent - not Floral/Vapor. Not even Keen Whisper...some other model.

Too big

Love these sandals. Had one pair for 6 years! But these are only 17 months old. I rarely wore these (due to Covid and now living in a cooler climate) and they are falling apart at the side stitching. Have to replace soon, but not with Keen again. Very disappointed. Must be inferior material.

Bought these to replace worn out Keen Venice sandals that I love. I have hobbit feet—wide and high arches but narrow heels. For reasons maybe Keen can explain, the Whisper is shaped completely differently: Narrower across the ball of the foot, tighter across the top, no give with the elastic ties (what’s the point?) and minimum kick toe guard. In other words, all the reasons you loved your last Keens—gone. Skip these. Cheaply and poorly made.

I loved the look of these sandals, but they were too confining mid foot for my crippled feet.

Very strong chemical odor like car tires. Never dissipates. I've had these for over a year and have to store them outside due to the odor. Have to place them inside two plastic bags in order to bring them into the car when packing up for a day hike or a bike ride. Therefore, even though they are cute and comfortable, I wear them as little as possible and can't store them inside -- the odor overpower the room or close they are in. This is such a problem, that I decided to try to order another pair -- to see if Keen had possibly changed up the resins they use to make the foot-bed. Then, I read a reviewer who said the exact same thing -- he just bought a pair recently and wrote in to say that the odor they emit is so strong he has to put them in a bag before bringing them in the car. Sigh. Come on, Keen --- change your recipe.

I have no idea how the fit was, I couldn't even get them on my feet. Evidently Keen thinks everyone has a very, very, very narrow, short foot. I couldn't even put my foot into the sandal let alone determine if it was true to size, width or had any arch support. Because I couldn't get the shoe on my foot but can't post a review unless there are stars given, I gave one star. The foot opening wouldn't open wide enough to put it on. I'm 74-years-old and don't have the time to struggle to try to get my foot into a shoe not made to wear, just to look good. Very disappointed!

These are too big. How do I return them and exchange for the next size down?

The toe piece cracked within a week. I had worn the sandals 3 times in an attempt to break them in before a trip. Each wearing was limited to around the house or a short, less than one mile walk on road. This is not the quality I expect from Keen. You can see from the pictures that the shoes are pristine with the exception of the rips in the toe guard.

Did not fit and was not comfortable. Had a small piece of sole that was sticking up right at the arch. Not noticeable until walking then it was irritating. Not my first pair and disappointed in this shoe.

This was my second pair of this exact shoe. I sent the first pair back because the stitching on both of the heels pulled away and left holes in the elastic after only about two weeks of casual wear (see first picture). After less than 6 days of casual wear on the second pair, the entire footplate came away from the sole after a moderate hike and a quick and easy creek crossing (see 2nd pic)! I wanted to love these shoes, but clearly there is something fundamentally wrong with this particular Keen design.

I was hoping beyond hope that all the negative reviews weren't that bad, but these are super uncomfortable, no arch support and actually are pitched to make you pronate quite hard. Going back, learned my lesson with Keens

There is a strip of leather in the left toe that is bent down and it rubbed against my toe and will eventually cause a blister. right shoe doesn't have it bent down. must be an inperfection. because wearing it around the house there was too much rubbing.

I have worn Keens for about 15 years and been very happy. They were well made and lasted years with heavy use. I ordered the same style. But these shoes were different. The protective shield for toes was smaller. They were very light and the sole felt less substantial. They were too small. I ordered my regular size.

I ordered a first pair and they were defective. I returned them and ordered another pair thinking this was just an Anomaly. The second pair was worse. These shoes are obviously rejects and Amazon is trying to pass them along. So sad.

It seems they have changed the footbed on these keens. I could not wear these. I wore them for a short walk and got shin splints. I tried again the next week and developed plantar fasciitis. I have worn Keen Whispers for 6 years now and love them. I can hike, walk and wear them all summer and my feet feel wonderful. But these new ones I could not wear without painful consequences.

Yes, the best hiking sandal since sliced bread. I am disabled but hike with my service dog (big lovely black labbie) we are always in and out of water. Perfect fit and cool looking . Highly recommend!

I need this type of shoe and think it is cute but as soon as I had it on my foot I knew it wouldn't work. Very uncomfortable for my foot.

I really wanted to like these shoes. They are so hard and rough I couldn't even imagine walking far in these much less hiking. My toe sticks out from the sides as well. My little toes stick out of the sides as well. I tried to go up half a size and too large. Didn't like these at all.

These didn’t stay on my foot right. They would slide forward. Ended up selling them.

I needed a replacement pair of water sandals after nearly 6 years of wearing my previous Keens which I loved. Something has changed and the shoes are not the quality or comfortable fit they used to be. So disappointed! This is the fourth pair I've tried in several weeks and I've had to return each pair due to fit issues and lower quality materials. On this pair, the tongue strap to adjust the shoes broke the first time I put them on! Guess it's time to find another brand of water sandals. (I hope Keen is paying attention to their declining customer reviews and makes changes for the better. They used to be the top quality sandal on the market!)

I have had 4 pairs of Keens. My last two pairs were thrown away because of the unbelievable foul odor that happened after a few months of wearing them. I soaked them, washed them, sprayed my feet and put them in freezer every day. It happened to my grandson's Keen's as well. I called Keen direct and they told me that some odors come through the sole of the shoe and offered no solution other than washing them, which I did many times. It is mainly the ones with the colors on the side and pretty colors. My two plain black pairs wore out with no odor ever. I love Keens but the stink is unbearable. It happens with children's and adult shoes.
