I love my Keen H2O sandals I bought more than 5 years ago. But these had to be returned. They looked and fit small.

Of the three Keen sandals I tried, the Whisper had the least arch support, the Arroyo II the most, and the Newport H2 was in the middle. Whisper feels light and flimsy compared to the others. I ordered a half size up, and it felt a little big, but I have a narrow foot and a low arch.

Feels wonderful first time I put them on but a wee bit short so heel is on edge. The other pair (Newport H2) fits perfect and is same size. Disappointed that the Whisper didn't fit as well though. Love Zappos anyway!

At first, these feel like the most comfortable sandals in the world. The insoles and nice and cushy, as are the straps. However, the lack of arch support does not make them good for walking around in all day, which is what I was looking for. I'm keeping them for the beach and camping but I'm still on the lookout for a comfortable sandal for all-day walking.

This is the first shoe I've ever returned to Zappos (of course they took good care of my return). What looked like the perfect warm weather wet/dry shoe just didn't fit well. My foot is a bit narrow; the overall width fit me well. As other reviewers have said, the shoe runs a little small; I think a true medium or wider foot would not be happy in these. The problem for me was where the toe box and footbed merge. It was too tight, even after letting the elastic ties all the way out. The straps rubbed on the outside just above my little toes. I own two other pairs of Keens and love them both. Sadly, this style didn't work for me.

I really wanted to like these shoes - I love Keen St. Barts and thought these might be similar - they are not. The footbed is not nearly as supportive, my feet hurt after a little while of walking in them. They are a little snug as well, even though I loosened up the straps. My bunion also sticks out right at one of the openings making them not very attractive on my feet. I will keep trying and wearing Keen shoes though since they are usually the best shoes ever for me. Just not this style.

Within two weeks of having this shoe, the sole came off one of them. Thankfully crazy glue came to the rescue, as I was camping at the time and had no other options. Otherwise, this is a great shoe - easy to put on and take off, comfortable, lightweight and water-friendly.

I loved the previous pair of Keen shoes that I bought, so when I was going to England and worried about rain, I bought another pair as a backup, in case mine had to dry out. It did not work out. While the shoes felt normal when tried on, when walking they became tight and cut into the sides of my feet. They hurt me and I wound up walking in wet shoes, since I was right in my fear about rain in England. When I returned home, I brought the shoes to a cobbler to be stretched. $6 later, I have not worn them enough to see if the stretching helped, but wear them for short intervals, to ensure that my feet will not hurt when walking long distance. Very disappointing and why many people admonished that I should not buy shoes online.

I\'m giving this product a 3 overall only because the Keen Newport is far superior! By normal standards, this is a good sandal, but if you\'re looking for something exceptional, go for the Newport!

These shoes are very very comfortable. My big disappointment is that my feet sweat in them and eventually smell if I wear them all day.

I have all kinds of foot problems including bunions, heel spurs, a hammertoe, and plantar fasciitis. I wear custom-made sport orthotics with my Easy Spirit Romy shoes almost all the time in order to keep my problems in check. The Keen Whisper is a comfortable shoe and does not bother my bunions, but the sandal does not offer enough arch support for my needs. I still wear them for short periods of time but not when I need to do a lot of walking. I do not think they would work well for someone with wide feet. They fit my narrow feet fine and are true to size.

Sizing seems off--I wear a 8.5 in the Presidio and Voyageur Mid hiker, so I started with 8.5, but it was huge. Tried 8, still huge. Tried 7.5, which fit, but the top of the rubber toe cup is shorter than the Newport\'s and it\'s angled down, so my big toe nail kept catching on it (in both the 7.5 and 8). Definitely a sleeker, more feminine version, but didn\'t work for me because of that toe cup issue. The Newport is perfect, though.

I’m sorry to say that I am returning these shoes today. After owning a pair of Keens for three years, it was time to add another pair to my wardrobe! I absolutely LOVE my old Keens, but I wanted a softer more neutral color than the red ones that I have and I thought these would be great. HOWEVER, when I got these, they are way too narrow and tight and there is NO arch support! Not comfortable at all! I am very disappointed because they are smaller and more feminine looking. I guess I will go back to the style I have.

Overall, I am disappointed in the Whisper. It does not have Keen's wide toebox which I've appreciated in the Newport and Venice sandals. Nor is the arch support as good as my other Keen sandals. It IS extremely lightweight and flexible, which was my main reason for buying them, so I shouldn't complain because they are not as perfect as my other Keens. Be sure to buy your true size. I always buy 1/2 larger in Keens & had to return for true size.

These sandals are great. They are true to size, and very comfortable. My only complaint is that the ribbon that\'s on the top started to ravel.

Keen Whisper was another attempt to replace my well worn, 4 year old Keen Newports. There is no comparison in terms of comfort and materials. The main problem with this sandal, even though ordered a half size larger than my other Keens, the opening is too tight to slide your foot in easily. Secondly, the ankle is a half inch higher than my other Keens, so they rub the ankle. I'll be returning these.

First, I read the reviews and ordered up since I have wide feet. I did not expect to have to struggle to put them on. The opening was quite narrow and didn't stretch much. Once I got them on, they were too long but the width was fine. WTH. Definitely going back...sigh.

As other reviewers mention, Keens are not what they used to be. I hope the company is listening. Specifically, (1) it's narrow---old Keens fans would never expect that, (2) there was little arch support and not much cushion under the foot, (3) the ankle opening was so narrow that my foot could barely get through it (and the ads still advertise "easy on and off"). Sadly I returned them and still haven't found my new sandals.

Unfortunately, the footbed of the right shoe was defective, so I returned them. I tried on a second pair, at the store, in the same size, and they seemed to run large. I have two pairs of these shoes already and I wear them all of the time and they are perfect. Maybe these were made by a different manufacturer?

I have an older version of these, which are worn out. These run very small - go up a half size. They are also more narrow and "pinchy" on the outer foot/toes. returned.
