on my fourth pair now. worn daily they last me about 18 months. the tread is pretty much worn smooth by then and are not water proof anymore. but these are hands down the most comfortable boots I have ever owned

Will use for hiking. Love the support. My feet don't ache at the end of the day.

Perfect for walking in snow, slush, wet weather conditions. Comfortable fit, snug without being constricting. Great traction in snow and ice.

I thought that the initial fit was going to be too snug in the middle part of my foot. I need and bought wide. However after just a few days of wearing, the fit is very nice.

It's been 20 years since I had bought a Timberland shoe. I was looking for a comfortable high-top hiker that could be worn with jeans and casual clothes. When I tried them on in the store, they felt really comfortable. I've owned them for several months and am really happy with them. I don't usually write reviews, but the design is excellent, and I do appreciate well-designed products, so I felt like I should post a review.

These boots were a gift for my son who spends time outdoors...often in the rain! They are waterproof, comfortable and good looking. Easy online buying,great selection good price and delivery was on time. Thanks

Have not water tested yet. However all positive reviews I read on different sites have been true. I have no fear that these Timberlands will match or exceed previous positive reviews on being waterproof. Very comfortable. Light weight with good arch and excellent ankle support.

I have on my feet 8-16 hours a day. These boots are lightweight and comfortable which helps to prevent foot fatigue. They seem durable so far.

Hiking and working is where i use them. Wish they still had the super convenient latching upper lace hooks

I have bought these boots 10 times and never regretted it. I am very tough on shoes. I have them resoled with harder rubber when they wear down. The upper lasts forever at the stitching, but delaminates at the glued toe, every time. The speed hooks break and the metal thread holes pop out. I have my cobbler swap them to eyelets. I keep a pair of broken in hikers built and ready to go, and working on a second build to have as a mailable reserve pair for a trip on the AT. I keep two old pairs, one as painting shoes, the other for tar work. The rest were throwaways before I found a cobbler. The inside liner lasts forever. The insoles need to be swapped with the honeycombed Timberland Pro versions. Feels like walking on air. They can be totally saturated from wading through water and will air dry hanging on a pack while wearing slippers, but will dry on your feet if you have to. Pull the insoles out to speed the process. No break in period needed and they won't chafe your feet (if your feet are broken in). The biggest problem is the toe delaminating, it's inevitable. I am going to try one of the Loctite 400 series bottled glues, and possibly the Loctite PL 400 Subfloor tube to securely reattach the rubber, permanently, because the cobbler won't touch that. Again, I've spent over 1k on these shoes over the past decade and there isn't a better all purpose shoe. I believe in fixing things because you can usually make them better in the process. Would be a 5 star shoe if they fixed the lacing and toe.
