The description states there is a special contouring insole. The video shows a different insole than what came in my boots. My insole is pretty sub par. Very thin and minimal cushion and comfort.

My 14-year-old son loves these boots. He's worn them every day - has to be a great shoe to get him out of his trainers. Comfortable, warm and waterproof. Well worth it.

I just upgraded to a second pair. The first pair lasted 3 years of rugged terrain, water, mus and tall grass. The fit is incredibly good requiring virtually no break in person. Very light weight.

I couldn't be happier with these boots. I wore them last Saturday to the beach to photograph the large waves. I was so engrossed in my shot that I missed a wave that came in, covering my boots completely. This was early in the shoot. My feet remained dry throughout. They are lightweight and comfortable. I highly recommend them.

Brought these for my son and if there were more than 5 stars these boots would get them. 100% waterproof and comfortable right out the gate. super light weight with great tread. Now everyone in our family wants a pair.

I love these boots. I had ordered the Timberland White Ledge, then was looking at these on-line. I couldn't help but order these boots to choose one of them. I might just end up keeping both pairs. I cannot make my mind up. Very comfortable, after breaking my ankle and having titanium screws and plates installed, the need for great boots is a must. I like the Timberland name from previous purchases. Very impressed

I have had these hiking boots for 8 years. They've carried me through the canyon lands of southern Utah to portions of the AT. They're still holding together very well and I expect to get many more miles out of them. They also do not take very much effort to break in.

First day, hiked 7 miles. Broke boots in right with complete comfort. Ordered second pair in case these are taken out of production.

I have owner this pair of boots for over 8 Years now and wear them everyday. That's almost 3000 days of continuous use. I wear them to work, for my hikes, in rain, in snow, in mud, when i go out and they naver fail me.
These are by far the best boots ever made. Period.
I went to the store to replace them for a new pair. Put the new one on right foot and old one on left, they looked exactly the same even after 8 years so I decided not to buy the new ones.
I still wear the same pair I bought 8 years earlier.
I will wear them forever.

This is our sons second pair of these boots only because he spilled paint on his other ones. He has been wearing his older ones for about 7 years now and they heard up like iron. They still look great except for the paint on them.

I'm an Outdoors man and I get a lot of use out of these boots. I love to fish and hike. The fact that they are Goretex makes it even better.

These boots fit really well, are light to wear and are good looking. I have owned two pair and am ordering a third so it's obvious I like them. The only issue I have with them is the quality of the leather. After about a year they start to crack- becoming really bad by the end of the second year- in the toe flex area between the bottom of the shoe strings and the toe. I have tried keeping them oiled but to not much avail. Over all they are worth the money if the leather was of a higher quality they would be a screaming deal.

This is my 2nd pair of the chocorua hikers. It took about 10 years to wear out the first pair. These are every bit as good as the first pair. No break-in period, comfortable from the start, and gave the confidence of stability, durability, and dryness. Classic Timberland quality, workmanship, and continued satisfaction. Thanks TBL
