I am true size 8m which was way too small and tight. Bought 81/2 w which way too long, but width fine with gym sock. Shoe came way too high on ankle and hurt. Loved the style.

I am a true 8. These were tight all over and short. Too much arch support for me & not in good place for me. Only can wear a very thin sock, so not versatile for sport. Will try 8.5w.

The shoes were a half inch too short.

I've been wearing Merrell Jungle Mocs for probably 20 years. They're my all-time favorite shoes. The pair I just received is probably my 8th or 9th pair. of black Jungle Mocs. I usually wear them until the tread is almost gone. However, this new pair is SO TIGHT that I can barely get it on my foot and the whole opening is too tight. It's really uncomfortable! In no way am I going to be able to wear these with socks when the weather cools off. (The new pair is the same model number and same country of manufacture as previous pairs.) It's not a matter of the new pair needing to be broken in, though. My previous pairs have been comfortable from day one. This new pair is going to have to go back, which makes me a little sad because I have no idea what else I can find that will be adequate for me and my very high arches.

I have owned this style in black smooth leather and also in an insulated version with the pig suede and loved both. However, this time the vamp seemed too high and too stiff so maybe my feet have changed. Like most new leather /suede shoes they will need a break in but I don't think the top of my foot will tolerate that so I'm returning.

Have been wearing these for a lot of years, but may have to leave them behind. Recent re-stylings have been making them smaller and stiffer, and they have reached the point where they just no longer fit. I almost cannot get these on. The mesh slides also seem tighter than past iterations, although the lace-ups still seem fine. Go figure.

I have been buying Merrell Jungle Moc for years, and they are great, very comfortable.
