I bought these for exploring Utah's canyon country on a photo tour. To my surprise, I was able to walk in them all day, mostly in water (with Neoprene socks) and I didn't get blisters or sore feet. Also, they were "grippier" than my regular hiking boots on the slick rock and worked great on a steep slope we rappelled down and later climbed up. Very comfortable with good arch support.

I bought this shoe for a trip to Costa Rica so I can walk through water and hike in the same shoe. I sometimes wear a 9 and sometimes a 9.5 in Merrells - needed a 9.5 in this model so my toes would have room. With plantar fasciitis, I'm always looking for good support and this shoe has it - plus it's pretty cute, too.

These shoes are really great. I love how quickly they dried after a huge rain storm I hiked through. The colors are fun and the laces stayed tied without a double knot! Also, they are comfortable, even over rocky terrain.

Instant comfort! These are great shoes I walk about 4 miles a day in them. I am not a tennis shoe person, but wear these all the time. As a dancer, I have my share of foot problems, but not with these! Worth every penny.

The shoes are cute! I am petite and have big feet so I love it when a pair of shoes decides to help me hide their size. I bought these shoes to go trekking around a new city for a week. My feet were comfortable and dry, which is really something as I have a condition called hyperhidrosis (which just means my feet are always sweating, hence the aqua shoe to wear while touring a new place!). The only thing about them is that they make an odd sound when the laces are pulled tight, kind of a leather on leather noise. Oh, and I wear thin socks, but the shoes seem to run a little wide.

These shoes are AMAZING! I bought them for my trip to Hawaii (like many other reviewers) and they were perfect for trekking around the island. The thick tred on the bottoms was perfect - my feet were really protected from jagged rocks and I really felt secure on slippery, wet, muddy terrain. The mesh upper allows the shoes to dry really quickly, even after fording through rivers and the ocean. We did rinse them after one particularly muddy hike, and they took a bit longer to dry after that. Like others suggested, I ordered a half size down and they were perfect. Definitely money well spent! My boyfriend also ordered the men's version and loved his as well.

These shoes are great! So lightweight and were so comfortable right out of the box. I wanted a shoe that was in between a hiking boot and a tennis shoe, and these are perfect! I just took a trip to the Smoky Mountains and I had no problems at all!

This shoe has been discontinued which is tragic. I found it through Merrell themselves because I was looking for a water shoe with a removable footbed. The Maipo fit the bill. I am able to wear my waterproof orthotics in them and the shoe is very comfortable without socks. The Vibram sole sticks on wet rocks and the water drains right out. I used the shoes for wet landings in the Galapagos and actually like them better than my Merrill trail shoes. They were easy on my tender feet even when wet but dry pretty quickly. I like that it has laces and fits snugly, not like a sandal, so you can use it on rough terrain. The only drawback is that sand doesn't drain out as easily as with a sandal but this is probably only an issue on a beach landing. Next summer they will be my kayaking shoes, perfect for beaver dams and portages.

Very comfortable shoes. Love the color. I wear them for my gym workouts. Good support, and sturdy. I have a narrow foot and it fit just fine. The toe area was very roomy although I don't actually need it. Have received a few compliments on them too. There is NO other company like Zappos, love their so fast delivery.

I purchased these shoes to wear on my two week vacation in Hawaii. We did moderate hiking on rocky and loose dirt terrain, and through shallow water. These shoes were great! They have fantastic traction on all types of surfaces and dried quickly after becoming wet. I wore them without socks, and they were very comfortable and did not cause any blisters. The arch support was good and they fit very well for my narrow foot. Also, they were pretty stylish. I highly recommend them for water to land walking/hiking.

These shoes are incredible! My boyfriend & I bought these shoes for an outdoor adventure vacation. We wanted one pair of shoes to do everything: hiking, rafting, mountain biking, ATV, etc. These shoes were more than we could have dreamed. They remained comfortable during the most rigorous activities. We will continue to buy these shoes every year for all of our outdoor adventures.

This is my 2nd pair of Merrell's & I'm very happy with them. The only negative is that from the moment I tried this pair on, they squeaked. When I walk, they squeak. I use them on my daily walks & they squeak, squeak, squeak. It's a little annoying, but overall, I'm happy with them. A friend of mine said the same thing about her Merrell's. Squeakers.

Very attractive shoes. My left foot loved the shoe but my right foot was irritated by something inside. I examined the shoe carefully but I couldn't figure out what was causing the irritation. I finally had to accept that the shoe just won't work for my sensitive feet, which is sad because I really wanted to keep them. They have excellent arch support for such a light shoe and they were a great price too.

Another excellent Merrell shoe! Very breathable, so they're wonderful for summer (you might want to wear thicker socks with them in the winter though, because the cold can blow through the material fairly easily). The style is versatile; they are kind of a hybrid running/hiking shoe, and you can wear them for pretty much anything. Great for walking, running, hiking, camping, biking, etc. etc. The only things I didn't like about them are the fact that the tongue constantly slips over to the side (it doesn't change the comfort but it does look a little silly:), and the fact that they weren't quite as cushy as I had hoped (though they still have really good arch support). If you want something that is really cushioned, I would recommend Keen or Ahnu, as Merrell tends to be a little flatter/thinner.

I ordered 1/2 size smaller as they run a little long. So far they are comfortable, have structure, and are lightweight which is what I need for summer walking in the city!

Awesome. I have very fussy feet after two surgeries, and these fit and felt great right out of the box! I'll be wearing these forever.

These shoes were just what I needed. I went walking through out all of Israel, hiking and water rafting, walking and sightseeing through out Jordan at Wadi Rum and in Petra, in the desert and in the Dead Sea and these shoes handled it all. Would recommend them to anyone.

Like these shoes a lot. I have toe problems on one foot and need a larger toe box. Used to wear Asics to walk but can't any longer. These shoes have felt great since day one with no toe problems. Yeah! I am glad I have finally found a comfortable shoe.

Cute and cushy! These are perfect for warm weather walking. They felt so comfortable; the fit is what I have come to expect from Merrell. I usually wear 8 1/2, but ordered up to 9 so I could wear heavier socks in the fall and not be squished in summer when your feet may be a bit bigger due to heat. Fit just right. The colors are perfect, and these make my feet look smaller. My feet are wider in front and slimmer in the heel and I find The medium always works well for me.

I'm so glad that Merrell is making these again! I had a pair years ago, but they wore out and were no longer available. These are amazing shoes, super comfortable, roomy in the toe and the ventilation feels great this summer! The teal color is very pretty and goes almost anything. I can't recommend these enough- I'm on my feet all day and these are the only shoes that don't leave me aching by the end of the day.

Great trail shoe with a stylish appearance. My wife loves them. She wears an 8 and I bought the 8-1/2 and they fit fine but I would say they truly run a 1/4 size bigger than indicated.

These shoes are awesome! So comfortable and I wore them 2 days for my Tag Sale with being on my feet all day. Highly recommend; however, I usually wear a 7 but got a 6 1/2, so order a size down.

I love these shoes! I actually got them for Parkour, though I'm not sure they are snug enough on me for that. I have size 10 1/2 narrow foot, and it's always a challenge to find shoes that fit. These fit me in 10 1/2 after I used the extra adjustments to fine tune the fit. They are lightweight and great looking. They are great to kick around in.

These are great all-around heavy duty sneakers (I walk my dog 3X's/day.) Unfortunately, I'm going to have to return them because I have arthritis in my feet. The criss-cross pattern of the laces tend to cut into my toes and cause some discomfort. I'm going to buy the Merrell Riverbed trail sneaker again because those were the shoes that I had originally. Great for arthritic feet.
