I misunderstood and ordered these thinking they were water proof. They certainly are not but they are very comfortable and I'll keep them to use in the summer here in Seattle. They seem to have good support and felt nicely cushioned without being spongy. No breaking in.

Shoes arrived yesterday, and I wore them around the house for a couple of hours. Super cute! The fit is great and they are really lightweight and comfy! I always wear either 7.5 or 8. These are 7.5 and perfect. They are also much easier to put on and take off than any athletic shoes I have had before. I have a narrow heel, but these shoes are not slipping. I believe they will be great for long distance walking. We are attending a big event in Chicago this weekend that will involve lots of walking, and I can't wait to wear them!

When I put these on it felt like I was walking on clouds. I'm a 7.5 and I ordered a size 8 because other reviews say they ran a bit small. In fact they do not, the 8 are too long but with thicker socks...no worries. I'm keeping them

These shoes are so light that you feel like you're wearing no shoes at all. Have not had them near water yet, but the material and the lightness of the shoe makes me think they will dry very quickly. Love everything about these shoes - the color is gorgeous, they are so light weight, and super comfortable. Looking forward to walking many miles in these shoes. Also, I recommend ordering from Zappos - there was a problem with delivery, but Zappos made it easy and corrected it immediately, so I just may be a Zappos customer for life. These are so lightweight. I wore them doing light hiking in a couple of national parks. When you tie your shoe it pulls on the orange straps in the back and helped to tighten the ankle area which was great for me since I have narrow ankles and have issues with shoes sliding. They are mesh on top so you can see your foot in the shoe but I wore socks with them.
