Love these shoes. Right out of the box for a week of hiking the Rockies. No issues with break in time. Fit true to size, only feedback is the arch is a bit low for me, but with an insert. Perfect shoes.

These are great hiking shoes! They are lightweight, while still being very sturdy, and required zero break in time. I just returned from a week hiking in the mountains of Colorado and wore them everyday with no problems. However, since I have high arches, I removed the insole and replaced it with my own orthotics, as it had less arch support than I need.

Super cute. I borrowed a pair from a friend, and they were perfect. I bought my own pair, but have to return them. There is little arch support, and my foot feels like it is rolling in (pronating) super excessively. Very bummed because the first pair were amazing! So light, comfy and cute, too boot.

These shoes have worked beautifully. They seem to be a little bit on the wide side, but I didn't have any issues with that. I bought them and didn't break them in at all and wore them for a week straight on a walking/hiking trip to Germany. Very pleased with the shoes and with Zappos.

Great sturdy hiking shoes. I especially like them because they have a nice wide toe box. Comfortable too!

Ordered my regular size (9) and the fit is great. Really comfortable in the limited use I've had -- too rainy hear in VT to get to any real hiking yet this spring!

I like how light the shoes are, but they offer no arch support. Initially they were really comfortable, but as the day wore on, by feet really hurt due to no support. If you don't have arch issues, then no worries. But I have very flexible arches, so it is an issue with me.

Love the look of the shoe. I had to send the first pair back to get a larger size. The 1/2 size bigger worked well.

Have always been a New Balance person, but thought I'd try these. Lightweight, seems like good support (never wore them outside). I will be returning them. The width is fine, but the toe box is slightly too short. Wouldn't be a problem for regular shoes. But since I want them for trail hikes, I don't think they'll work.

Shoe was just not as comfortable as I expected it to be. Chose another hiker that's arch support fit me better.

I had a slightly different Merrell shoe and loved it, but it's not made any more! So I'm trying this model, and so far it seems to do just as well as the first Merrell. I would prefer being fitted with an actual shoe in a "real" shoe store, but since this isn't feasible for me due to where I live, Zappos is the next best thing.

The laces are in the wrong place for me, and rub the top of one foot where I've got a slight bunion. Other than that, these would have been very comfortable. I have several pairs of Merrell - sandals, another pair of hiking boots, and I just ordered some boots, and I love the brand. These had good cushion and support, but alas, they just didn't work for me.

These are nice shoes. Merrell's are great for my bad knees. These, however, could use some additional cushioning in the insole. They're very hard and my feet hurt after wearing them all day. Of course, that can be remedied with some inserts, but for the money you'd think they could spring for a little foam in the insole.

Love this shoe. I have a very wide foot (D) and it fits! would like to see a little more cushioning in the footbed but I can always put an inset into it.

I love the look and feel of this shoe, but for me, I needed a minimum of a 1/2 size larger. I ordered my normal size but my toes were touching the front. Thankfully, Zappos has an awesome return policy.

This is a very good shoe. I am about to buy my 2nd pair. I have hiked at least 100 miles in these shoes as well as casual wear and they seem to be holding up. A co-worker wore his out after a year of wearing them every day.

Sturdy shoe, great for very rocky terrain and/or forest ground. The "Merrell Moab Ventilator" ventilates at times though can sometimes feel heavy because of the support on the bottom. Great shoe if you enjoy hiking.

I read the reviews on this shoe before purchasing it for a hiking trip to Utah. The shoe fit was good, but I was a little disappointed with the arch support, so I purchased some arch support insoles at the drug store. I walked for miles and miles and had no foot discomfort at all. I was very impressed with the shoe, and happy I made the purchase.

These were a birthday present to myself that I picked out after careful reading of all the previous reviews. It was between this and the Columbia Gaia. I really like this shoe, my only complaint is that they feel very heavy at times, like maybe you don't want to keep walking because it takes too much energy to lift your feet. It's not because they are pinching or uncomfortable, just heavy, no bounce.

Love them so far. I hadn\'t bought Merrell hikers in years and I opted for these over Keen this time. I like the fact that they have colors besides brown and tan. I had high expectations of these and haven\'t been disappointed yet. The fit is at least half size smaller than marked, so order up at least half a size.

I went a half size up, fit perfectly. I have tendinitis and some other feet issues and these were recommended by a friend. I think they are great. The only change I made was to replace the insert with one with a bigger arch, other than that they work great and are super comfortable.

I could tell when I pulled the shoes out of the box they were going to be way too small for me. I ordered an 11 in women's. This shoe looked and fit more like a size 9. Very sad. I really liked the look! My girlfriend tried them on just for grins. She wears an 8. With thick socks she could have worn them. These have to be mis-marked!

I like this shoe, it is comfortable but not enough ankle support. To me, it is more like an everyday gym shoe. I need more support for my ankle.
