This shoe is wonderful. It took the least amount of time to break in. If available, I'll probably buy another pair in the near future, and Zappos service was top notch as usual!

I am a long time Merrell customer and have always been pleased with their quality, comfort and fit. They are not always easy to find, but Zappos has solved that problem!

This is my 2nd pair of these shoes. The only reason is that my son finally outgrew his last pair. Love Zappos!

The shoe laces are terrible (but easily replaced); everything else about these shoes are excellent

Great shoes! I'm a sandal guy- I even wear sandals hiking most of the time. However, when I recently went to climb Mt. Whitney, I decided it was time for some good shoes. I wore these for the first time (out of the house) on a 22 mile hike and didn't get a single blister. They're comfortable, and the breathable GORE-TEX is great. My feet were warm, but not too warm, and dry all day. My favorite part of them is the wide fit. I strongly encourage you to measure your feet. I had never bought wide shoes in the past, and these feel great! Maybe that's why I never liked shoes much....

Great trail shoe. I had to order them a half size smaller than my normal size. They still feel a little big, but are perfect as I wear two pairs of socks while hiking. Great soles.

I am very happy with this shoe. It's a winner. Looks good and performs well.

I wear these shoes at work and hiking. Best shoe for both. Lightweight and it feels like it is already broke in right out of the box.

My husband loves his Merrells. He wore them on a hiking trip to Norway - they stayed dry during pouring rain. The size was perfect, and of course Zappos is the best!

I have been a loyal Merrell customer for years and this product is excellent. Reasonably light weight, very fashionable, fits well and so far is keeping the water out.

Merrell Shoe is a great product. Well built and lasts a long time. Purchasing from Zappos was a breeze. I was impressed with the fast delivery.

Great shoe. I wore them right out of the box for a 4 day backcountry trip. These shoes will last forever.

I have plantar fasciitis in both feet. This shoe keeps my heel locked in place. I use a custom orthotic inside the shoe. It's the only shoe I wear. I normally wear 7.5W. Merrell's seems to run 1/2 size small. This is the 6th pair of Merrells I have purchased. Zappos expedited my delivery at no extra charge.

This boot feels true to size and width. It is a little warm in hot weather (85+ deg F) due to the GoreTex, but I wanted a waterproof hiker, not a sandal.

Very comfortable shoes. I walk a minimum of an hour a day and so for the shoes have held up well. It hasn't rain yet nor did I walk in water to test the waterproofing. I hope that works because I live on the rainy Pacific Coast of California.

With a free up grade to overnight shipping and an excellent product I am very satisfied. I ordered a half size up and have a great fit. These are almost as light as running shoes with the traction of a hiker and with Gore-Tex what more could you ask for in a shoe?

These were about perfect. Looked for hiking shoes for almost a year. I have a wide foot with a high instep. Very difficult to find. Thought I would try Zappos with free shipping both ways - had nothing to lose, but did not need it. These fit great. Will certainly try Zappos again for shoes and Merrell for hikers.

This is a great hiking shoe that also holds up well for everyday wear. The Gore-Tex sheath is handy, though obviously limited by the height of the shoe.

I got this shoe for everyday wear and for hiking. I find it to be very comfortable and the waterproofing has worked as I have tiptoed through a few shallow creeks on my hikes. I have not experienced the issues with poor construction that other have reported but I have only had the shoes for a month. I ordered them a size up base on a review that said they run small. That was a poor decision on my part. I needed them for a trip and did not have time to return them for a smaller size so now I am stuck with a slightly sloppy fitting hiking shoe. Anyways if you have difficult to fit feet like myself this is the important information. I usually wear a New Balance 10.5 4E. I purchased this in an 11 wide. I have worn other brands of wide fitting shoe that did not cut it but this shoe is truly wide. In the future I will order this in a 10.5 wide and hope the shoe doesn't lose to much width in the drop in size.

Great shoes! One thing I had hoped, however is that they would breath a bit better.

Excellent shoe, with solid construction. Very waterproof, but breathable and not excessively hot. Took only one wearing to break them in. I'm using them with Superfeet DMP Black inserts and they are extremely comfortable.

Comfortable right out of the box. I bought 1 size bigger than I used to buy 3 or 4 years ago. I tried shoes from 4 or 5 manufacture. and found I had to do same thing. Either my feet are getting bigger or size 13 isn't as big as it used to be. Anyway, in my job (teaching) I'm standing most of the day, and when I wear the Moabs, no pain at all, and I'm getting compliments from the kids. So, they're comfortable, waterproof (Gortex), and good looking. Highly recommended.

Purchased these for my husband and he absolutely loves them! They were his go to shoe for work all winter (he works indoor and outdoors in facilities) and he more than appreciated that these shoes were comfortable, durable and most importantly, waterproof. He has owned various brands and styles of hiking boots in the past, and these by far have been his favorite! They did run a tad small so if in doubt, order a half size up.

Great shoes. Very comfy and looks great. This is an excellent shoe for anyone with wide feet like me.
