A great pair of boots. Very durable, and the waterproofing is excellent. The most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned. I wear them everyday.

These are great; very sturdy, and stable on wet surfaces. I bought them for two weeks of travel in South America, the Galapagos islands and the Peruvian rain forest. Highly recommended - very supportive and still look new after a lot of heavy use.

This is a great boot for wet weather. I wore them during the snow storms this past winter and my feet never got wet! The sole give great traction. The insoles are not great, as other reviewers have mentioned. There is not as much ankle support as I would like, but they are still comfortable.

Great hiker/walker--very light weight. Previous purchased New Balance 1201 but didn't have my size, so I purchased this Merrell and like it even better.

I found the boot to be comfortable. It was wider than I thought - I could have fit in a medium. I ordered and normally take a wide.

Excellent quality and comfort. I replaced a 10+ year old pair of Merrell's with these and I love them.

Great delivery service through Zappos. This boot is my third set of Merrells; it fits very well. The first two pair are the same model but the low top - those are awesome fitting, as I have wide feet. I wear them all day long with very good comfort, however I would like to see Merrel put in a better padded insole.

Bought these shoes because I needed a work boot that would comfortable to do a lot of walking every day in. I have not been dissappointed. Very comfortable, stylish, and rugged enough for the construction world.

Excellent hiking boot. I've now worn them in the snow at 0-10 deg F and in the slush and winter crud at higher temps. Feet stay comfy and dry.

My husband, a barefoot kind of guy, loves this boot. I was looking for something he could wear in the snow and slush, and this was the answer -- it's light, comfortable, and the Gore-Tex keeps his feet dry, and, therefore, warm. He's told me several times how happy he is that I found this boot, and he almost never comments on shoes (or any kind of apparel, for that matter).

My new Merrel's fit like a glove, and are just as comfortable. Durable, waterproof, good looking - and help my feet last all day on the cobblestone streets of Europe.

Great day hiker; don't think I'd use it with a heavy pack. The insole that is included is a flimsy piece of plastic, so you'll want to get a real insert before doing much hiking.

These are by far the most comfortable boot (or shoe period) I have ever worn. They fit perfect (came in wide for a change) are terrific for the trail walking\/hiking I do. I will probably die with my boots on as I can\'t see taking these off very often. Definite 5 stars!

Very light, comfortable -- like wearing a tennis shoe. I wear mine every day out here in the harsh terrain of Afghanistan. Highly recommend!

This is the boot I put on my teenage son for his Boy Scout adventures hiking, backpacking, camping, etc. It's a great boot and when he outgrew his first pair I bought a second pair of the exact same boot in a larger size. The boot is lightweight and break-in time is virtually zero because of the fabric uppers. These boots have held up extremely well and the Vibram sole shows almost no signs of wear after 18 months. Heck, even after his hard use on the trail, the first set of boots looked so good that I passed them on to another scout in the Troop who's getting another season out of them!

I put them on immediately as I only had a few days to break them in before my trip. They were cozy right out of the box and needed no break in period. I had read the other reviews about the insole being thin and not very supportive, I agree. I promptly swapped them out. These boots provided excellent support and protection. They are very lightweight, which is always a plus since you have to lift them every time you take a step. They are a nice style with mellow colors. The lace eyelets each have just one line of reflective stitching making it easy to find them in the dark, but not distracting when hiking by headlamp.

I love these boots! Walked over 40 miles over three days and packed about 39 lbs of photo gear and tripod. Shoes were comfortable and kept my feet dry and protected. Only one complaint was the intrusion of a cactus spine through the upper that made it to my foot. No major damage, only an inconvenience!

Great shoes. Every time my husband intends to get a new style, he keeps coming back to these. They are a great fit and hold up well in all conditions (he is currently in Afghanistan and has worn through 3 other pairs over there throughout the years).

Bought the shoes for work, shoveling snow, wet weather, etc. Great traction and comfort.

So far I'm enjoying them, this is my first pair of Merrell's and I would recommend them to a friend. We'll see how they hold up over time. I don't plan on being easy on them.

An excellent shoe for the price. Provides excellent water proofing so long as you dont go over the ankle. Very comfortable after broken in. Wears well hiking with mid size pack loads. Only problem is that it can run a little hot some days, so prepare to have slightly sweaty feet if you dont have good wicking socks or liners on.

These are the best shoe I have ever owned. I have trouble with my ankles and usually have to wear special insoles. But since wearing these shoes I don’t need them anymore! I’m usually very hard on shoes, but these held out for over two years without showing any signs of wear. The only thing that happened is one of the cloth eyelets broke after 20 months! The sole hardly looked worn! I convinced my wife to buy a pair of Merrells and she is convinced as well.

I love these boots. From the moment I put them on it was as if I'd already worn them on many hikes. I took them with me to the Amazon and my feet never got wet. The boots did get muddy, but they were very easy to clean and they never got wet or even damp inside. I especially like the tread on the soles. Walking in the Amazon is a slippery proposition and they kept me upright! Don't give a second thought to purchasing these boots.

Wasn't sure which size to order, so ordered 2 pairs: my regular size plus 1 pair in the next size. They were true to size, so I returned the larger pair. I love these Moabs -- very comfortable and look good, too. This was my first order with Zappos and everything was processed quickly and exactly right!
