What a dream - I purchased these boots for myself for Christmas. One of the reasons that I chose this particular boot was because of the 5 star reviews. I purchased the boots along with the stain repellent, as advised by other Ugg owners. Of course they came the very next day. (I love Zappos) I cannot praise these little darlings enough. Ohhhh... the comfort and joy!!! They feel wonderful right out of the box and seem to get better each time I put them on. I find myself wearing them in the house much more than is appropriate. It reminds me of when my children were little and got a new pair of boots for Christmas. Ha... couldn't get the dang things off of them either! Please do yourself a favor and get these boots. Pure luxury with every step. Also... even though they are snuggly warm, your feet don't seem to get moist after prolonged wearing. I purchased the same boot for my daughter who is a science teacher in Grand Rapids Michigan. She adores them also and wears them all day in the classroom. She has received tons of compliments from teachers and students alike. Buy Them!!!

Feeling Good! This boot fit right from the start. Order one size smaller! I have foot problems so I wasn't sure these boots would be worth the price or fit me well. I have a wide foot more on the left than the right. These boots fit out of the box. My left foot is a little tight, but not by much. I walk good on these and my feet stay nice and warm. I bought the black style and I don't have a problem with them bleeding or staining my feet or socks. Thanks Zappos for your quick shipping. Remember to order the UGG cleaner and conditioner, I didn't and needed it last minute. Zappos sent it to me in one day! That is great service... I Love Zappos!

I have these boots and do love them though they are a bit big. I am able to put my orthotic and heel lift in with ease. I always go barefoot and my toes can get a little cold but I love the feel of real wool inside.

I found my experience with Zappos to be very pleasant. I was so happy to be able to ship back the wrong size without having to pay for postage. I will say that the Ultimate boot does not run a size bigger as stated which is why I had to send them back in the first place. I will be happy to order from Zappos all the time given the ease of this transaction.

The boot is really nice, but we had to return it. I ordered it for my wife for Christmas and while she was able to get it on without difficulty, the instep (I think that's the right word) was too low. It pinched across the top of her foot near the ankle. I have rated the product assuming that it would have fit because it is a very nice boot, but put this caveat in here for anyone else that has a higher instep.

I appreciated the feedback from other reviewers regarding Ugg sizing. I normally wear a size 9.5 and purchased these in a size 9, which was perfect. These are cozy and warm, wearable tall or folded down, and work with socks or without.

First, just want to say that my experience for the first time with Zappos customer service was excellent. I talked to a couple people in customer service and they were both very helpful. Thank you! Best of all, I got my order the very next day for free. WOW! I ordered the Ultimate Tall Braid UGG boats in black and I love it, but it is a little narrow for my feet. I am keeping it anyway because they are just way too warm for my feet and also cute. I am hoping it will stretch. This boots is true to size, so order your size. Yes, I will order again from Zappos. I am giving it 4 stars for overall because the boots run a little narrow and also it is made in China, but overall they are great boots.

I first ordered these in a 6 and I usually wear a 7 in shoes, and a 7.5 in boots and the 6 was too small. It wasn't way too small, it just hit the front of my big toe, which was a little uncomfortable. I ordered the 7 and it was a teeny bit roomy bit still better than having my toes touch the front of the boot, which I hate. I also had some chafing at the heels, especially my left one the first time I wore it out. It lessened over time, but still kind of chafes. I wore it about 5 times so far. It's still really comfortable otherwise and I love the fact that it has more traction than my other Uggs. I had the Sundance and it was really slippery on ice. The dye didn't rub off on my feet like some other reviews. Overall, I gave it 4 stars because of the chafing. Uggs are supposed to be comfy and not chafe!

I really like these boots. They have soft sheep skin fur and I wear no socks with them. They are a dark brown, which is a very rich color. They are very warm and comfortable except for the right boot. It's too large. The label width says wide. One fits like a medium, but the other fits like a wide. I thought all boot widths were a medium. The label says wide. I have worn the boots, so I will fit something in the right boot to make it fit better.

Great shoe - I love my new Ultimate Tall Ugg boots and wear them every day. I feel they fit true to size. I wear an 11 1/2 and had to go with the 12. The 11 was too narrow up front and rubbed the side of my toes. I wish this boot was narrower at the top so I could tuck them into my pants easier. Otherwise, this is the most wonderful product ever as I hate having cold feet - not happening any more!

Cute but not perfect - I normally wear a size 8 in shoes, but I ordered a 7 in these and they fit great. They are a little slimmer looking than regular Uggs in the foot part, which is more flattering. The black wool lining is also nice. My only complaint is that the shaft is very very wide. I have thin calves, but these look strange even with jeans tucked into them. I'm going to get mine altered by a shoemaker (shouldn't be too difficult). For the price it's a shame that they aren’t perfect. The braid design in the back is very cute! Shaft is a lot wider than my classic tall Uggs.

Love these boots - I have a very large calf and wide feet. I ordered my size. It fit very well and quickly stretched to my foot. They truly fit like gloves. The shaft was shorter then most tall Uggs which is good because the calf size is about an inch smaller then I like.

Very comfy but they stain! I agree with all the other reviews about how super warm and comfy these boots feel. I live in Iowa and I wish I discovered Uggs earlier! I usually wear a size 9 1/2 and ordered size 9 in these based on comments to size down. I've been wearing this pair constantly since around Christmas, and they feel a tad bit loose but not a big deal; I suspect I can wear a size 8. It is kind of annoying for a high-end (pricewise) line to not offer more sizes (by including 1/2 sizes). What really bugs me is the fact that the black fleece interior still bleeds dye onto my feet! I do wear this without socks as others recommend, and the item description mentions a bit of color transfer during initial wear. But it has been about 3 weeks now and the bottom of my feet are still pretty black each night. Drives me a bit batty because it is kind of difficult to wash out completely. I am in my late 30s and have never owned any leather that had such extensive color transfer after so long of a period. Uggs should use a better dye process. (And the fault should not lie just in the fact that feet sweat. I cloth diaper my kids and we use wool as a cover option. We have a lot of beautiful hand-dyed wool and I rarely have any color transfers onto the cloth diaper underneath (or the skin) even with prolonged exposure to urine).

This style runs really big to me. My shoe size is 7.5, Ugg size is 6, which I purchased; however, it still ran really big. I used an insole from my sneakers to take up the extra space and provide more support. Additionally I have a high instep or arch, so that may contribute to my issues with the boot. I have pairs of Uggs in rotation for this winter. So I am still a fan!

I have several older pairs of Uggs and adore them but they seemed to have widened the boot a lot. I have thin legs and I could stick my arm down the boot while they were on. Just too wide for me. Bummed, cause I like everything else about these. That's the only reason I only gave 3 stars.

This was my first UGG purchase. I usually wear 6.5, ordered a 6. But it was too small and tight around my calves. I have muscular calves and it was difficult slipping on the boot (almost like putting on ski boots). I am returning it, but I haven’t decided to buy a larger size 7 or just get the classic Ugg instead. The boot looks great though, and if it wasn’t too tight, felt very comfy inside. Probably best worn for women with smaller calves and feet. Zappos of course is superb.

This style runs narrow for me, which made them uncomfortable enough to need to return them. I instead, got a pair of the \'classic\' style. That style is definitely a little wider and in my case, much more comfy. Thanks to Zappos for a super simple return policy!

These Ultimate Tall Braid Uggs are taller and narrower than the Ultimate Tall Braid Uggs I purchased 5 years ago. If you have wide feet like I do, you may find these too narrow, and not particularly stretchy. They are taking a much longer time to break in than my previous pair, and are still uncomfortable.

I like this boot because it is extremely warm. I have tried a lot of different boots and don't believe there are any out there that will keep your feet as warm as these. And I live in Minnesota with 40 to 50 below zero weather in winter. They are cute if you like the Eskimo look :-) which actually I do. The only issue I have with them is that the top of the shaft isn't wide enough. It fits a little snug in the shaft in general but then at the seam on the top it gets tighter and pinches my leg too much. I bought these ones because the shaft had a larger width than the tall classic style but these are still quite tight at the top seam. Even with that said it is not unbearable and I would actually recommend these to wider calf gals. They are the only style of Ugg boots that do somewhat fit my large calves. By biggest complaint though is that the color (I bought black) is completely fading already, I bought them last winter. I bought the spray protection and followed the directions and have taken very good care of these boots. But even though I have only had them for a year they look like I have had them for much longer. When they came they were a rich dark black and now they look like a faded dark gray. This is extremely disappointing since I had been debating spending so much money on boots. I expected something with a better quality. All in all I would recommend them to someone that just needs boots that will keep their toes warm, toasty and dry in extreme cold weather and if they need something to go over large calves. But not for fashion or if they will care about the color fading.

I generally love Uggs but these were a disappointment. I was under the impression the circumference would accommodate a wider calf, but they do not. Back they go.

As the owner of several UGGs & other kind of boots, this was a real disappointment. The quality of this brand has definitively decreased. I just got a pair of these ones. I am right now comparing them to my old ones, the UGG Ultimate Tall 5250. My old ones are way better quality. I remember the first time I slid my feet into my very first pair of UGGs I got years back; the feeling of walking on sheepskin, the warm & the comfort were beyond belief. I was expecting the same quality this time. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!! These Ultimate Tall Braid feel like a very synthetic material, not as warm, the soles look & feel cheap, & the feeling of comfort is very average. What happened?! \r\n\r\nFor me this product is so overpriced! I am returning them. I feel like crying! :( :( :(
