After much searching on Zappos I ordered these boots. When they arrived I was disappointed in the cheap appearance and materials compared to the cost. I tried them on and walked down my carpeted hall and that was all it took to re-box and send them back. Rieker, why the cheap plastic pleather buckles and funky weird lining. Also, the synthetic bottom leaves a lot to be desired. I would not recommend these boots at all.

Okay. I'm a dude, and I bought this for my wife. I know she was a size 9 has pretty skinny legs. I was mainly trying to get replacement boots for the ones that were starting to wear out. It was a successful purchase. She loves the boots oh, they fit just right, and she looks amazing in them. I was properly rewarded for my successful purchase.

These Rieker Liz boots feel like butter. I knew as soon as I slipped them on there would be no break in period. Some reviewers stated the calf portion was too tight. I’ve got skinny legs and with the top buckle in the tightest hole they fit me perfect. There is room to expand the calf out several more inches by letting the top buckle out. Riekers are a well made foot wear. Wouldn’t mind another pair in a different color!

Loved everything about them except after a few wearings one boot began to creak. Every step makes very loud creaking noises. For the price I expected them to last longer.

Beautiful style, fit, design. A tad roomy, probably for a sock. Good quality. Adjustable buckle at calf is good for skinny calves...I may even punch another hole to make it tighter. Good roomy toe box. Nice low heel. I am very happy with this purchase!

I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes. I'm a teacher, and I stand up all day on hard floors. I have wide feet, large calves, and I also had foot surgery, which makes my feet more sensitive. I sound like a hot mess. Anyway, these boots are quite comfortable (I did add insoles for extra cushioning, but most folks probably wouldn't need them.), they fit my calves nicely (not too tight), and I've had a lot of positive comments from folks about how they look!

I love this boot! I've been suffering from hip and lower back pain for years. Trying to find the right arch support and heel height to not aggravate the problem is next to impossible. However, these are amazing--fit, feel and look!

The leather on this boot is beautiful and the lining was a nice surprise...soft and comfy. I feels a little wider at the foot than I was expecting which is another nice surprise. My feet are a tiny bit wider at the toe box but wides are generally too wide. I'm not sure I could get these zipped over skinny jeans, but I haven't tried. They have a gusset on the outside of the calf that's nicely "hidden" behind a strap and buckle with two widths. This boot is truly amazing!

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I have no problem wearing my jeans inside them, the shaft allowed me plenty of room for skinny jeans and leggings. The lining is a polar fleece kind of fabric which is warm and cozy. The soles are non skid so there are no worries about slipping on smooth floors after coming in from the Oregon rain. The brown boots are a dark, rich color with just a hint of darker shadowing which allows me to wear them with black leggings as well as jeans. The richer tone gives them a little dressier look. Highly recommend.

These boots are perfect in almost every way. The leather is soft, like buttah, which makes them both comfortable to wear and elegant looking. I wanted boots that I could wear to work but also had a thick sole that could stand the weather in the North East. These are exactly what I wanted. The only downfall, in my case, is that I can't zip them over my jeans -- too narrow for my legs -- and they run a bit wide in the foot but I like the extra room so that I can wear heavy socks with them.

This is NOT a wide calf boot! And when I opened the box, I thought they had shipped the wrong thing because the 'leather' looks like pleather or something. The boots had obviously been returned by someone else and dumped in the box and shipped out to me. My first disappointing experience with Zappos. The foot bed of the boot looks nice and cozy but there is no way I could have worn them for 5 minutes without cutting off the circulation in my calves. I've not ordered Rieker boots before. Not a good experience for the price point.

I returned these boots after three wearings. They squeaked and popped to the extent that it was embarrassing. Great boot with respect to fit and comfort, but I'm concerned that this was a second-quality boot sold at a full retail price. Very disappointed. Giving 1 overall star because zero stars is not an option.

I take a 9.5, and they fit perfectly. They are super comfortable and stylish. The only downside is that I probably won’t be able to wear my jeans tucked inside, otherwise, they are perfect!

These boots are definitely a keeper. For someone who wants to avoid heels and still have a classic looking boot that works well with both jeans and dresses, this is a great choice. The leather is soft, the color a rich brown and the sock liner super cozy.

These are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I'm recovering from a foot injury and these are the only shoes I can wear. The soles have excellent tread for snow and ice. Nice arch support and the light lining keeps me warm but not overheated. The shaft was a little snug at first, but after a few wears it's molded to my calf nicely. Well worth the price!

The leather is very soft and flexible, the inside is super soft, which is great. The zipper works well too. I wore them consistently for the last 2 months of winter and they still look great.- very pleased with the purchase and I recommend them.

I like the style, color, and the rubber sole is great. The inside is comfortable and soft. Unfortunately after 2-3 weeks of wear the right heel began to squeak with every step. This was not a moisture or leather friction issue, but something internal between the insole and outsole. I would want to wear these boots but a squeaky heel ruins any chance of true love. Zappos customer service has always impressed me. They put my needs first and make good business better for us all.

Well-made, you can tell the stitching and soles are good and these should last a long time. Comfortable around the ankle where sometimes I have issues with rubbing in boots. These were a replacement for 15-year-old pair of moto-style boots that I traveled the world in, and the look is just a perfect match. Boots' fuzzy lining feels soft, warm, luxe.

This is my 2nd pair of the same boots; I bought one in 2018 in brown color and has been my favorite pair of boots. This time I bought the schwarz color. Same as my last pair, fits perfect, very pretty, lining is warm, foot bed has decent cushion which is really comfortable. Only minor issue is the left boot heel area has a winkle, but it was ironed out after wearing for couple hours so it's all good. Strongly recommend.

These boots are so perfect, never had to break them in. They are beautiful and comfortable.

I have these in brown and black. Very comfortable. Roomy on the calves. At 5’ tall and short legs I find it hard to have boots that go up to my knee but these are perfect height in the calve.

This is my second pair of Rieker boots and it is a brand that I will buy again. The fit is good with enough arch support for me and they keep my feet warm.

I love these and I never want them to wear out! The ONLY issue I have is that when I cross my legs sitting down, the zipper is rather painful. But otherwise I love them!
