These boots look amazing! The leather is soft, shiny and excellent quality. The buckles are fully adjustable for a great fit. These boots are just the right height (I'm 5'2") and are perfect to wear over skinny jeans. They are not too tight in the calf nor do they gap. The toe area seemed a little snug but I've been wearing them in the house for hours and they're very comfortable. I wear them with thick wool socks. The lining is soft, warm and cushiony in the foot bed. I love these boots!

The most comfortable boots. Ever. I wear size 10 and ordered 41, they fit like a glove!

Wow, I love these boots! This is my first pair of Riekers, and I am in love. They are so soft, SUPER comfortable, and super cute! What more could one ask for? They fit perfectly, I sized up 1/2 size from my normal shoe size, and they are perfect. Very happy with my purchase!

All right, y'all...I'm not a petite woman. Let's just get that outtta the way right off the bat. I'm plus sized and muscular, hitting the gym several times a week to lift heavy things, then put them back down. I got nervous watching these videos of a really skinny woman parading around in various styles of boots. Makes me wonder if they'll work for me. Well, these boots DID! My calves are about 16.25 inches around and with the buckle in the last hole, they fit just snug then stretched a bit to fit. There's probably another 1/4 inch to spare, if you need it and are willing to punch another hole in the strap. I think there's plenty of material to do that. Otherwise, the leather is top quality and smooth like butter. So wonderful. Arch support is minimal, however, and there's no room for an insert. It won't bother me, but just FYI. I normally wear a 9.5 in Keen and these compare well with that length, but are narrower.

I liked this boot a lot and almost kept it, except that it was too wide in the ankle and the shaft. I liked the generous toe box, and it was very comfortable. But it just looked and felt saggy.

These were nice looking. They seemed a bit wide for me. The strap across the top felt really cheap, like pleather. Overall didn't feel like leather.

Beautiful boots, would be very comfortable except the lining in the foot-bed of the right boot has shifted and is bunched up so I'm returning them.

These boots are insanely comfortable, look really nice, and keep your feet warm. I typically wear a 9.5 and have a wide toe area and narrow heel. The 9.5 fits nicely with plenty of room for thick socks. Although these boots are comfortable, I find the heel to be a little clunky. The first time I wore them on an hour long shopping excursion, they wore my feet out from the weight. After wearing them in a bit they feel less stressful but still a bit weighty. The interior is lined with a light black fuzzy material which is just warm enough to keep your feet and legs cozy without making you sweaty. Overall, very pleased with these!

I bought these boots for my daughter and she loves them! They look beautiful and she can comfortably wear them all day. She says that they feel a little wide at the toe but the length is spot on. Overall a great pair of boots!

Love the boot, love the fit, super comfy! . I wore them around the house for 1/2 the day trying them out because I am leaving for a vacation and planned on wearing them. Unfortunately.....the left sole started squeaking. I CANNOT stand a squeaky shoe....I would try to exchange but I leave for my trip so unfortunately they are going back.

Perfect! I bought these boots specifically because the previous reviews mentioned they stayed warm and dry during the deep freeze on the east coast - and I was buying these for a trip in December to Germany/Austria. While this year there was no snow in Germany (boo!) the weather was cold and these boots were comfortable for the 17 days I wore them. No blisters or sore feet, despite cobblestones, stone steps, mountains and cold nights. Fit was true to size and my thick, merino wool socks didn't crowd my toes. The soles are rugged but not too rugged and gripped well walking downhill from a mountain top in Garmisch-P, as well as wet sidewalks.

I purchased this boot for my daughter who has a wide foot and a larger calf. The shoe part wasn't wide enough for her foot, so I tried it. I loved the boot and was very close to keeping it for myself, but I was between sizes. It didn't fit well enough to justify the price. The boot is soft and comfy, and seems like it would be warm in the winter weather. I wish it fit my foot better.

By far the most comfortable of Born odum, Eric Michael Yosemite. I got all 3 simultaneously. The Reiker leather upper is super soft to the touch but also substantially more flexible. I like the styling slightly less well, but not enough to make the difference as it is also much less expensive. Historically I've had really excellent experiences with Rieker shoes and while I was willing to branch out, it was reassuring to find that this was the best for my purposes. All three boots were a bit big on the calf, but not tragically. This way they will breathe better too!

Good boot for the price - This is a very comfortable boot and unlike some of the Rieker shoes, it has some style. The toe is pointed, but still does not cramp the foot. Quite a good buy, too.

Totally would have kept them except the width was too tight. length was perfect and comfprt exept being too tigh was great.

Soooo comfortable and perfect low heel. Returned them because the seam inside the left boot wasn’t flat and was rubbing against my ankle causing it to be very “in” comfortable. Am re- ordering a new pair though!

the only reason I am returning these boots is because there just isn't enough cushioning for the ball area of the foot, otherwise they look and fit great. If you are generally a wide width like I am in these types of boots, not a problem with this Rieker style; the medium width worked-ample enough room with a mid weight sock plus there is a fleece-type lining. I wish I could keep them but my older feet need more cush!

I really wanted to love these boots. They looked beautiful and the foot bed was really comfortable. Unfortunately, at almost 5'10" they are about three inches too short. Would be great on a shorter person.

These boots are beautiful, but the fit is a little iffy. I got the 9.5 size, which is my typical size. The ankle is a bit loose, and my foot seems to slip up into the boot a little when I walk. I tightened the ankle strap and put on heavier socks, which seems to help a bit. I don't think getting a smaller size would help, because the top of the boot just fits my calf, and the bottom of the boot just fits my foot. I'm going to keep them anyway, and hope for the best because I love the look of these boots.

i really love these boots - fine leather, soft warm thin polar fleece lining, good treads - important for places with cold, snowy, icy winters, styling, fit right out of the box - except: for the shaft, which is so huge i could put my entire hand down it all the way to my foot!!!! i'm perplexed because a number of reviewers said they felt the shaft was too tight or narrow. not one review said the shaft ran very wide. i got a defective pair?? i love them so much except for that. i am 5'3" & have regular calves & never experienced a boot with such an enormous shaft. also, the straps that go through the buckle had creases in them as though they'd been buckled tight & worn. not like new out of the box with no signs of wear. i am wondering if i got some that were worn a bit, or that there is another pair of rieker boot's identical but with a different sku or something with a wide shaft? there are not markings of size or style number or sku inside the boot shaft - which most boots do have. so i can't tell if there is an identical wide shaft version with different sku that got in this box by mistake. anybody know if there are identical rieker's with extra wide calf options? have you experienced this? woe is me. other wise they are great..... zappos did not have another pair of the same boots i ordered in stock, so i could not return or exchange to see if the 2nd pair were the same. i might try ordering another pair of same in a different color - at least that would help confirm whether the huge calf width was a freak, wrong stock, or if this is just the way they are. very frustrating.....

Beautiful boot, soft leather. Sadly, Reiker runs narrow for my medium-wide foot and I have to return it. If you take a narrower width, this boot is perfect.
