As pictured - got these just to try, as I seldom wear any shoe that isn't black, because they have an elfin quality I like. They were a little loose around the ankle and slightly loose elsewhere, and definitely brown, so I sent them back. If I could have had a half-size smaller in black, I'd have kept them as the look is very appealing.

These fit true to size and overall have a nice look to them design wise, but the "leather" is really ugly both in color and also feel and look. It looks like pleather. The color shown on the website is more rich and deep than the drab brown that is what is on the boot. Disappointed

Leather looked really cheap and plastic-y. Very narrow.

I wanted to like these, I really did, cuz the look/style is exactly what I was looking for! But they did not meet my comfort needs and expectations. The soft lining did feel great but the 7.5 (my usual size in boots with normal crew socks on) felt very snug on the toes. The sole has a little cushion but after wearing them for five minutes I could already feel the ache in my heels which means not enough sole or arch support. If you have flatter feet they should work for you.

I bought these for my daughter, and while they seem true to size, generally, they weren't a good fit for her. She is 130 lbs and 5'5", and the calves were WAY too wide even over slim-fit jeans (as in gaping). They also seemed styled for someone shorter, as they were a full 1 1/2 to 2 inches below her kneecap at the top. Generally, these seemed a nice boot with good craftsmanship, nice leather and a rugged sole for actual walking, but they weren't a match for us, so back they go. I do wish more boots were available in slim fit or tall, because that would have made these keepers.

These boots are beautiful but very wide in the ankle/heel area. Because of this wideness, they bunch up. Alas, I'll have to return them.

These boots have a sort of "prairie" look to them --something I did not want. I was searching for something to fit my wider calf of 15 to 15 1/4 inches. These were just a smidge too tight. I wanted something a little more classic and less clunky looking. I sent them back

I got these hoping they’d fit my 16.5 inch calves. I was hoping with the buckles at the top they’d work. They did zip, but were too tight. I ordered an 8.5 (my normal size) and the foot bed was comfortable. I wasn’t very impressed with the leather quality. It didn’t smell like leather upon opening the box and the straps were particularly cheap looking and flimsy. The overall style and color is accurately portrayed in the photos.

These boots fit great in the foot, which is impressive because I have a fairly wide foot. However, the calf was too tight and I will have to send them back. I wish there was a wide calf style, because then they would be perfect!

I love these boots but wanted to be able to wear with jeans tucked or leggings. They were too tight in the calf. They will have to go back.

I ordered what for me is a normally a roomy size (42). The toes were extremely narrow and the heels were very large. So if you have extra wide heels and pointy toes, these are the boots for you. These were too tight in the toes to even walk in.
