My first time buying born, i heard they are a good brand. Look is good, however I can't say they're all that comfortable to walk in. No cushioning and hardly any arch support. Not recommended for walking.

I guess they fit alright. Time will tell. But they came right out of the box all scuffed up. Guess I got a returned pair.

I seen these on different sites. They look better at times than others. Though, Zappos had the best true to life image. They were pretty unattractive to me. I love chukkas but these looked a little to distressed for my liking. Like they looked broken in but felt too tight. I'm a big fan of Born shoes. But these didn't hit the mark for me. Instead, I returned them and went with the Copeland chukka by Johnson and Murphy. They have the feel I expected from Born with a more high-end aesthetic. They do run $50 more.

Love the look, love the feel of these boots. I had them about 12 months and discovered a hole in the leather upper near the pinky toe, where the leather flexes while walking. Very disappointed (as I went through a lot of boots while searching for the perfect pair). I will try to get them repaired as the boots are great otherwise. Runs 1/2 size large.

The bottom of the heel is painful, like there is not enough cushion.
Looks good and feels good otherwise. I used them in my home and noticed the heel pain in about 15 minutes of walking. It seemed only the right side was painful. I'm returning for another pair, hoping this pair is the problem.
I've worn Børn before and the cushion was excellent.

I truly love the (immediate) comfort, style and diversity these shoes have. I even love the way they scuff and wear. They have only gotten better looking with time. My favorite shoe, ever. BUT! the sole makes me very sad. I have worn completely through the soles in under a years time. It felt thin and soft in the beginning and proved to be true. I don't know if this was a flaw in my particular purchase or true across the board, but it is very disheartening.

I want to like these, because they are comfy. Unfortunately they scuff really bad if you even look at them. I think this might be the style, but it’s really really bad.

These felt alright to wear but looked so weird. The shape of the toe is strange and makes me feel like I'm wearing leprechaun shoes. It's too squared.

First, the good. I have decently wide feet, and normally need to order either a half or whole size larger than my "true" size. I'm a 9.5, so that normally means I'm wearing 10s or 10.5s. The Harrisons fit perfectly in a 9.5, which is great for people who might have wide feet, but aren't ready to restrict themselves to the limited number of shoes that come in wide sizes. Also - for the first 3 or 4 months I owned them, they looked great, and were very comfortable. Sadly, now 5-months later, they're falling apart. It started with the "leather" on the outer edge of the heel. It began to peel, and it became apparent that it's some kind of leather veneer. I glued it back on. This more or less worked. Then the leather on the heel under the arch started to peel off. I planned to glue it back on, but never got around to it. Then, a couple days ago, the leather (or possibly "leather" insole split in the right shoe. In half. Now they're quite uncomfortable to wear. After talking with a Zappos rep who suggested that this fell outside of normal wear and tear, I'll be sending them back. It's a shame, because until they started falling apart, they were about my favorite pair of shoes.

These shoes were perfect when they arrived. Then the insides of them were completed shredded after about two weeks of wearing them. Not good craftsmanship on the inside. Overall very comfortable and stylish.

The chuckka boot was very long and narrow. I am usually a 7.5; I purchased an 8 to be on the safe side. The shoe was extremely narrow and long, even for a size 8.

Zappos sent me three pairs of these shoes... it’s apparent that Zappos buys Borns reject shoes with many quality issues.

I read the reviews and was going to order a smaller size, but Zappos recommended an 11 based on past purchases. Of course when I tried the shoes on there was almost an inch of empty space between my toes and the end of the shoe... Thank you for sending me to the post office, Zappos.

Great looking boot. The biggest issue is in the non removable insole. The stitching under the heal felt like you were standing on a stick. I don't understand how a insole could be stitched like this.

I'v been wearing Born for over 8 years. The quality of their products has been dropping steadily over the years. Durability is an issue, rubber is very soft, and some design solutions, like a mash insole in a last few shoes I owned were a disaster.
Anyway, Harrison failed in 8 months of usage. I have a huge hole in my sole. In my book, shoes should last at least one year! It may be my last born shoe. Think twice before getting a pair of Harrisons.
